unable to boot after update

don't know whats going on! phone said update and I did, few time later phone unable to boot. Pressing power button phone give small vibration. Don't know whats going on. Never flash or root before.

Try using flashtool to reflash a firmware, it should fix your issue

To go along with the previous post, just use SE Updater, to reflash it back to stock. It has saved me a few times!

To put your phone in flash mode, turn it off, hold the back button and plug in usb cable.

[Q] Restock Arc S?

hey i flashed MIUI 4 on the phone of my friend!
He doesn´t like it and told me, he want the old system back :/
i´ve unlocked the bootloader ^^ i now how to relock it but when i do so,
i will see nothing at boot! I tried to restock with PC companion but cant restock it using this system :silly:
Pls help me

What was on the phone before you put muiu 4on it ?
For latest stock rom download this

unizip file to desktop, inside should be .587.ftf
Open Flashtool >select flashmode top left in lightning button.
Drag .587.tft file only into flashtool main window>let files load
wait for program to ask you to connect phone > follow on screen instructions> make sure you press the correct button an hold it before you connect the usb cable to phone. if done right to LED on phone will be Green.
Wait till you see the files start to load into the phone on the flashtool window>then let go of the button
the uptodate stock rom is now being loaded, there is nothing more to do than wait.
Only disconnect the cable from the phone when flashtool tells you, then start the phone takes a little while first time.set up your friends phone for him, and be careful next time and read about what you want to do first before you try it.

Hello i used app Font Installer ★ Root ★ to change my phone fonts but when my phone restarted dont starting only restarting on sony logo im using xperia hd rom please can anyone tellme how i can fix my phone i dont want to install again the rom or to install my old backup because i will lose everthing from my phone :S Fu** the **** app

Try reflashing the original fonts with a CWM zip, if that fails then you'll need to install your backup.

Try wiping the dalvik cache in cwm.

Use MyPhoneExplorer Copy files over WiFi or Bluetooth.

oh yeah, umm take SD card out, and use an SD card adapter to connect to pc. If you dont have an adapter, you probably have to flash a stock ICS rom and then start again

cwm > mounts and storage > mount usb storage > keep there, don't leave this menu, now you can copy....
after your done install zip via sdcard

It's a good app... I used it before without problems. You might've just had bad luck.

No the app is not good for first time i chanched my fonts witchout problem but when i changed again fonts my phone fu*** so the app is not good the is very bad app

I had the same problem with this app, so now every time I want to change font I make a backup first!

[Q] Want to root and install R800a, very lost.

Hi guys, as the title said, I want to root my new Xperia Play R800a, and I am very lost right now. Ultimately, my goal is to install Xperia NXT 2r1. I think that since I have the r800a version, I am not able unlock the bootloader, so I am ok with not having a custom kernel.
But the problem is, I'm totally lost right now. Could anyone show me a guide or something to what I'm supposed to do to start? That's all I'm asking.
What I HAVE done is downloaded everything they asked for me to download in the post, and have installed flashtools, but whenever I try flashing the firmware 4.0.2 enhanced, I am not able to do so. It is just stuck on a screen where it tells me to go to fastboot mode, but I go to fastboot mode, and for some reason it isn't recognized. (I know it's fastboot because the power button is glowing blue.) I think a driver might be installed incorrectly, but I'm not sure how to install it correctly after.
I'm sorry if my post isn't that helpful, I'll add any more information if you guys want me too.

for flashing a firmware u should go to flashmode u should turn off the phone then press and hold back button and connect ur usb(the power button led should turn to green)

Thank you, I actually did that right after. What's wrong now though, is that I got it flashed, but If i try to root it, nothing happens. I press the button and there is no response. Any solutions?

Sorry for the late response -
I flashed Firmware 4.0.2.A.0.58 Enhanced, the one that they told me to flash in the guide.
I did notice however, that it said that it was for r800i. I just assumed it was universal. Is there a specific firmware I should be flashing for r800a?

I went to that link and downloaded and flashed R800a_4.0.2.A.0.79.ftfwith vendor partition NEWEST FTF, but the same thing happens when I try to root. It's like the button is unresponsive. Is there a specific ftf I was supposed to flash?

Alright found out the problem. Apparently there are two versions of flashtool. One version doesn't work while the other does. I honestly don't know what the difference is. But for other people who might be facing the same problem, if your flashtool has only three icons, Flash, Root, and check for SU permissions I think (it looks like a key), then you have the wrong version. Your flashtool should have 7 icons.

Oh yes, I found that out a bit later. The problem was lying in the flashtools I was using. Once I got the right flashtools, I reflashed the previous firmware rooted it, installed the rom, and it all worked perfectly.

Device connected with USB debugging off

my xperia t2 ultra dual is with bootloader unlocked. i want flash the rom stock in flashtools, but the debug is not identified when connected in flash mode. Someone Know like solve this problem?

For connecting in flashtool you have to switch off your phone and press volume down for flashmode and volume up for fastboot and connect USB and se confirmation on flashtool for connecting. I think it will helpfull for u..

I did that before of to open the posts. the problem is that, the flash tools not is identifying like debugging on. the program shows this message "For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode", but i tried of every forms of connection usb, with debugging on, even so i didn't have success.
the smartphone is with rom CM11, with recovery clockworkmod and bootloader unlocked. The flashtools program, just identifies like debugging on, when my phone is connected . when i do try connect in flash mode, the program shows this messages "For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode" and " Device connected with USB debugging off".
i would of one original kernel, without recovery. if someone has. send me please.

this was happen with me to unable to flash anythink by flashtool
i solve it by create pre-rooted firmwares by PRFCreator and creat zip flashible in recovery
i flashed kitkat stock frimware after that the problem still i update it by OTA to lollipop then it solved

it easy just download PRFCreator Tool from this thread

Now put the prf creator somewhere in your PC extract it there.
u need FTF stock kitkat firmware
on pc open PRF creat and chose youre ftf file include it with kernel ,Fota kernel,modem,LTALabel
for super su.zip its up to u for recovery.zip leave it and create youre zip,In 15-20 minutes you will get a zip file named "flashable" in prf folder move it to youre SD card
do wipe system,data.cache,dalvik
then flash youre zip
finally u will have stock kitkat update it via OTA that all

install a recovery in fastboot and follow the instructions of the moheep_zahed to reinstall your phone's ROM

When I was in FastBoot mode to connect the phone and flastool, show no device. so I guess the phone can not enter the FastBoot mode, what can i do?

Did u charge ur phone? if not charg it when u plug in charger did ur phone give red led?
Try FastBoot if u get blue led and flashmod with green led

i had tried to charge it,but nothing happened.Finally, I removed the battery, chaeged it full, and then put it in, but still nothing no red light,no green,no blue.I completely collapsed

xperia z3 not able to be flashed
@moheep help mine is xperia z3 D660e with locked bootloader and can't be unlocked same issue but it powers on but stuck on logo even charging same its soft bricked but flashtool gives same thing
