Hey Everybody,
Does anybody know of any ROMs for the Chinese version of the HTC One (M8) <M8t> with Google play?
I've tried Android Revolution HD to no avail because I can't get rid of the S-ON. So if anybody knows how to remove S-ON then that would also be hugely useful.
I've read around threads (both in Chinese and English) but not found much but my Chinese isn't great so I might have missed something.
Any help would be great, I'm lost without my Google services!

Solved
I've managed to solve this on my own using a soul 2.0 ROM.
I found it on a Chinese Website and now I have a fully running M8t with Google Play and the rest of Google's services :good:

Yeah, I've managed it.
I used this tool for most of the steps.

The only thing I needed was a recovery just for the M8t, not the one included in the toolkit. You can find that here:

And there you have it, rooted.
I couldn't get rid of the S-ON though so I had to find a ROM just for the M8t, not a general one.

Which European ROM? WWE?
if your problem is the serial to get the ROM, I suggest you to search for this serial in the forum (I've been there before).

do you have the latest version of htc sync?? older ones dont work with froyo
can someone please post a link to it. in my country HTC only has 2.1 so i cant find the link. the one on the htc website is for 2.1
If you live in the US (or want to download the version that is relevant to your country then change your location at the top of the screen and go to Support and you will find the download links for HTC Sync.
HTC Sync 3.0 is the one you want and it works with Android 2.1 and above except the special version of HTC sync for tattoo, magic and hero, that version has (1.5) next to it so it won't work on your phone.
edit: oh btw, the website might ask you to enter in your phone's serial number in order to download the file. it will tell you where to locate the number on your phone.
I tried to re install it and didn't fix it it syncs for about 2 mins then cancels itself. any ideas? i am using the 3.0 software

Hi,
I rooted my HTC One V and deleted some bloatware (flickr, ebay etc.) and now, even after relocking my phone and resetting it to factory settings, I can no longer install software updates because I'm missing these stock apps. From what I understand I have to reflash my phone with a rom that matches the cid for my phone (O2__001), is that correct? Am I right in thinking that I'm looking for a UK O2 shipped rom (x.xx.207.x)? If so, does anyone know where I might find one? I've searched everywhere (including this forum) and cannot find anything suitable.
I realise that it's my own fault for not making a proper back-up (lesson learnt!) but I'd be really appreciative of any help.

I have found the sourcecode for the build on the htcdev website. Is it a bad idea to try and compile the rom myself (baring in mind that I'm obviously total noob when it comes to Android, but have quite a bit of experience running linux)? Does anyone have any advice about this?

for arabic
now i need to update it to other original version like orange or...without arabic
i dont know all risk!!!!!
and i dont understand what is sense30 or any sense......
so please i need only original version tested like orange version

First, please don't post the same thing in 3 different forums. And especially please don't ask questions in the Development section. It just irritates people; we all look at all 3 forums, and they are separated for a reason. Mods will delete the duplicates.
Second, I'm not 100% certain of what you're asking. But in any case, here is a list of RUUs. In the first post, scroll to the section labeled "RUU and Stock." There's a lot of RUUs offered there including a link to the Ace Shipped ROM Collection, which includes a ton of RUUs.

I have no more information than you do. The only way I will know what each RUU contains is to read its filename or to download it and run it, just like you. None of us are RUU databases, where you simply give us the search terms "french" and "without any problem" and we can pop out a download link.
Being a noob is not a suffiicient excuse to demand a specific download link without any research of your own. We were all noobs at some point, and we did some research and figured it out.

Yes u can downgrade but make sure to flash gb shipped DHD with a GB RUU else u will mess up ur phone,just to make it easy for u coz u said u are new. Download this RUU its 3.12 WWE(worldwide edition) http://goo.im/ruu/ace/RUU_Ace_Sense...60.29_26.14.04.28_M_release_225512_signed.exe and run it on your computer and just follow the instructions. If u need anymore help let me know.
