I know theres an option to switch it off in the phone but seems to be a software glitch that it doesnt dissapear.
Any ideas

I've been looking for several days, and can't seem to find a solution. I've tried Hardware Disabler from the market. I can't figure out which driver it is, and also have seen some people complain about phones getting hot or battery drain while using it. I don't want to have to disable every time I boot.
What I'm looking for, is someone to tell me which file to edit to completely disable it from loading. This way I can continue using AOSP roms.
Right now, I am stuck on a TW rom with the sensor disabled in the dialer menu. Maybe one of you gurus can help a guy out??
Hello,
I am not sure why on earth the keyboard has stopped working as it supposed to work. Previously there were small arrows on the space key which was indication of multiple language. Swiping it to the sides was changing the lauguage.
I am not sure why I do not have the arrows---> which means I can not change the language of the keyboard.
I tried resetting the settings and all, but no luck.
As you see I have 2 languages added to the keyboard...... maybe I am missing something ! any help is appreciated.
Thanks
I think I found the root of the problem. I put it here for others in case someone faced the same problem.
The problem comes from enabling Accessibility->Services.
I had the "Greenify" enabled there. After turning it off keyboard start to work as before.
Peace,

This is all great but looks like this is Kit Kat problem. So what to do it if you need Accessibility mode for app that do notifications for Smart Watch?

No idea how to fix the Kit Kat issue here. But while default Samsung Keyboard had this issue, switching to Swype Keyboard showed no problem. So as a work around, you can switch to swype keyboard for now.

thats the part of my screen not work the touch
Looks like a bad screen. Especially missing that whole section. If it was a corner or something, I would think something like a drop. But straight across, that's not good.

Hello all,
My settings app/menu keeps clsoing on me. Whenever I go into it, it will stay on the screen for a second and then close. I removed some apps via adb but, none or so I thought, had anything to do with the settings menu. Does anyone know what could be causing this or have a fix for it?

Try to do a factory reset
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
After latest update my phone thinks I'm trying to enter split screen or something and draws the blue sparkly line when I'm just trying to do something ordinary.
I haven't found a way to completely disable knuckles gestures even though it's off in the accessibility settings.
Halp!
Same issue here, even after stop it.
Same issue I that I have, I try to disable it from accessibility options, but it doesn't work
Same ****. Also thought that after the update this setting got reset but it's disabled...
Me too! It is really annoying and I've been trying to find a way to stop it from coming up! It keep messing up my gameplay! lol
Same issue here
Performed the steps from Huawei support and no success.
I've done clean cash and settings reset
On the end they confirmed that this is emui 10.1 issue.
Interesting that the guy from support team has the same phone as mine and had no problems after update.
The final suggestion was to roll back to 10.0 or wait for the update from Huawei.
Ok, I've found a temporary solution, but you need to use appAssistant.
For any apps that are giving you issues with the knuckle gesture, add them to appAssistant, and allow appAssistant to run. Then make sure you select the option in appAssistant to disable knuckle gesture.
Hope the fix comes out soon. But for now, this is good enough.
Any updates on this?
So after phone reset I ended up with rolling back to 10.0 and disable auto update.
I'll wait for the patch from Huawei
Thanks
Looks to be bugged in EMUI 10.1 and Huawei is aware of the issue... hopefully able to solve it soon. It's quite irritating.

They are simply not going to fix this. Back to Samsung guys.
