Out of curiosity, does anyone know why it isn't compatible? Isn't the M7?

Yes the M7 is compatible but for some reason the M8 wasn't included. Until Google updates their app, you can use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/har...experimental-enable-mirroring-device-t2812193 if you have root to enable the mirroring option.
Thanks, hope Google update the chromecast soon

I just installed CM 11 on my T-Mobile HTC One and read that there was IR support for it, but there is no app in the Rom. After looking around a bit I found the app "IR Universal Remote" in the play store and it worked so I thought I'd post it here if anyone is looking for one for their phone. Not sure if it works on GPe Roms but it couldn't hurt to try. I just downloaded the free version.

Has anyone with a M9 done the above besides me? Can anyone get Notifications working? I can get the devices to pair, can customize home screens, etc. The only notifications I get are from missed and incoming calls.
I have updated the software version of the Samsung Gear Fit itself but still do not get any other notifications. Any one else get a M9 working with the Fit?
Thanks,
Rick

What do you need to do to get ANT+ apps running on the stock ROM?
I just got this phone today and found out that it could not play anything in Netflix in HD. In "test patterns", it only maxes out at 540p with a really low bit rate.
I have done numurous research on different versions of Netflix, but none really worked, not even the modded ones for the Poco phone F1 originally.
The Redmi note 8 pro has widevine L1 and is supposed to play Netflix in HD with no problem, but it couldn't. Anyone has a solution to this problem? And would this problem be solved? I really don't want to wait like how the Poco phone users waited 4 months for that widevine update.
Thanks in advance.
Maybe with Kodi and Netflix addon?

Kodi is one of the best mediaplayer...(previously called xbmc)

It allows plug-in that brings new features...
Here are more infos About the plug-in.

As I haven't Netflix account, I can't test...
Tried Netflix through Kodi, still only got 540 resolution.. even though I checked 4k etc.
Any solutions other than that?
We really need to get more people to know about this problem so the developers could fix this asap, is a serious problem
How did you check the resolution? I want to test mine

Search test patterns in Netflix. Click on the videos and look at the numbers on the top of your screen.

I think it's a chipset related issue, because of Mediatek compatibility.

I don't think so. Mediatek phones are the worst updating/fixing their issues.

Hi thanx for replying. Yes it's a hardware feature and apparently its supported in the 7 series. We can actually do this with acc module and acca app.

Yes it works. Although I need a bit more time to test how much of a difference it makes and how well it works. Probably will update this weekend.
