no because lg checks the signature of the quicktoggles but if you have a quickcircle case there is an flashlight app for that
Quick Circle Apps adds Quick Torch to the QSlide Apps.

I installed Tesla LED app and then using Nova Launcher, I set the 'swipe up' gesture to toggle the LED. I can turn the LED on and off from any screen.

Is it possible to get back the AOSP-style separate quick settings panel (two finger swipe down for settings, nothing but notifications in the notification panel)?

bump, anyone?
Interested in this as well. Maybe with the G3 tweakbox
I just updated to Lollipop and know that the native flashlight should be in the quick settings menu when you pull down on the notification area. As you know with Sense 6 we can customize this menu. I have not found the native flashlight toggle. Anyone know?
There's an app so no toggle
Tap the button with the marker and edit the QS

That won't work in the stock OS.
as EddyOS said there is no toggle due to having an app.
I know ther are apps and widgets out there. Been using one. What I want is the new Lolipop native flashlight support. I want the toggle in the quick settings so I don't have to go to the home screen or wherever the flashlight app or widget is to turn it on. It's not on the Sense 6 quick settings customize choices. Hell, I can't even find the Lolipop toggle in settings or anywhere else. My guess is we'll have to wait for Sense 7.
Hi, I bought swift phone, arrived yesterday. It's great, i known yet the cyano nice one.
I have 2 simple question:
I can't find Volume and Vibrate/Silent/Ring switcher toggles
There is the possibility to turn on the screen with double tap (like lg or nexus phone...) I find the way to turn off with double click on status bar
Thanks
1. Use the Volume buttons.
2. Download a third party app.
1) use profiles, configure your profiles in the settings, then switch between profiles using the power button (long press).

I keep that button for camera and enable this:

Turn on the torch using the long hold volume up while screen is off.

not really what im looking for, double tap on power button opens camera so dont need it on my lockscreen .i just want to put flashlight icon on lockscreen.
thank you , any one know if this is possible without dl another app?
It is possible with the app BxActions. You can choose to double click Bixby button to turn on flashlight on lock screen. I use it
I think you can only put an app shortcut there, and the built-in flashlight isn't an app, it's part of the OS. If you installed a flashlight app from the Play store, you could probably put it on the lock screen.

can you pull the notification down on the lock screen ?? if so, hit the toggle there.
This is trivial to do with root and xposed, does that work for you?
It can now be done with Samsung's Good Lock 2018 app, in the LockStar section of it. You can add up to 6 shortcuts, and flashlight is among the available ones.

Doesn't work for me. Swiping down on notification just pulls down the notification panel. Do I have to disable the pull down notifications gesture first?
When using your phone and you receive a notification as a pop-up on your screen, you do a quick swipe down on that to launch the notification into a pop-up window
If you're trying to launch a notification from your notification pull down list.... then press and hold on the notification continuously until you get to drag it to the center of the screen to launch as a popup, or to the edges (if using an other app) to split screen the existing app with the notifying app!

Thanks but that first option doesn't work for me. Swiping down on the toast notification just brings down the notification bar. Had no effect on the active notification pop-up. I will try disabling that gesture and see if it behaves the way you describe. That would be a very helpful feature for me. Thank you.
I do have the swipe down gesture to pull the notification drawer too...
In my developer settings I have these 2 options enabled -
1. Force activities to be resizeable
2. Enable free-form windows
I think I figured your issue... you must have selected "detailed" and not "brief" as your notification style in your notification settings

Yes you are correct. Just changed to brief. I will try as soon as I get a notification. Thank you!

It works! Thank you great feature! Samsung really needs to go back to including 600 page manuals with these things! I wonder how many other useful features I still don't know about???
