lg g pad 7.0 - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Why can't I find anything on the g pad 7.0? All my searches lead me to the 8.3 sections?

or go to the 10.1 subforum and treat it as 7.0+8.0+10.1, since all three are similar
(PM a moderator to get them to add 7.0+8.0 to 10.1)

[REQ] gslate / optimus pad forum

i am kinda supprised that there isnt allready a thread for this
I will literally throw up if we don't get a forum soon, my gslates in the hands of LG and if there isn't a forum by the time its returned. I'll lose it. The clock is ticking.

[Q] Roms in Every Section

Can someone please enlighten me as to why we have roms in just about every section on the g pro?
There is roms under Optimus G Pro General, Optimus G Pro Android Development, & Optimus G Pro Original Android Development. Kind of irritating having to hop from one subforum to another because all of the ROMS can't be kept in one Development area. I guess i don't understand as to why that is. Maybe there is a reason behind it?
Also is there any chance we can have a subforum for each model, which would take people spamming ROM threads wanting to know if it was for their model or not. Because that's also sad to see every rom thread someone spamming it wanting to know if it is for their model or not. Where as most don't read the title or description....Guess you can't fix stupid as they say, but it would keep a lot of the window lickers down from spamming threads.

ROMs should really only be in two places-Original Android Development and Android Development. Original Android Development should include original work and official and unofficial ports. Android Development should include things like modified stock ROMs, ROMs that are not the OP's work and unofficial ports of ROMs for which there is an official version. As far as separate device subforums go, I'm not sure how likely that is to ever happen.

Well thank you for that clarification. But that is not how others must have understood it. Because that is not how it is in the LG Optimus G Pro forum section. And yeah i didn't think it would be likely, but it is a GREAT idea to prevent so much spam, and people from getting warnings an such. Thank you for clearing that up. Just wish that's how it was though.
maybe we can request a moderator to move those threads to corresponding section
there aren't that many

there's a whole thread in this forum under general that will help you your GPE. first or second thread I believe.
I wonder how many more people will post questions in the general section than the Q and A section.... If you look at the general section there are tons of them.

I can see why. I did too! I think because the other says tips and troubleshooting, and so appears more as if you're having difficulties with the device rather than questions about changing how your software works.

Yeah but if you put a [Q] in front it is a give away. I have done it in the past but usually a kind mod will correct and let me know and I wont do it again... But it's getting out of control here. Oh well it really doesn't matter. I don't really care just would like to see them stay consistent. if I get a slap on the wrist for doing something I would except it to happen to everyone. If you have a direct question it is easier to find in the Q and A section anyways. Alright I'm done bring this up and venting sorry if it annoyed anyone :silly:
I guess posting off topic is equally shameful lol

Mi Pad 4 to get its own separate forums?

Hello everyone, I am buying Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 in the near future and I looked at the Mi Pad forum here and I thought it's better if the Mi Pad 4 gets its own forum instead of getting mixed with other discussions concerning the first 3 generation of devices. Just a suggestion, what do you guys think?
Read the sticky threads before posting. There's a thread for new device forum requests:

Temporary Moto G Power 2020 thread

Since there's no G Power discussion group, its a discussion thread
Good news: I will get G Power 2020 as soon as it released, and hopefully root method will stay the same
