[Q] Stylus recommendations for Tab S (10.5) - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Looking for a good stylus that will work for my Tab S. Preferably as close to the size of a real pen as possible (IE not super short or super thick diameter wise).
Any recommendations?

there are several threads on this in the accessories section but here is the most active one.

Samsung Stylus?

Anybody have any luck with this stylus vs any others? I tried the targus one for ipad (any capacitive screen) but want a smaller tip. This looks promising, if it works with the 10.1. Seems to be a lot of consumer confusion as to differentiating the galaxy tab and the 10.1.

I have this stylus and can verify that it works just fine. Can't compare it to any others though, sorry.
Haven't used the official stylus, but check out my review I posted earlier for a good, cheap stylus from DE.

I use it, I like it.
I have it ... it works well. Keeps your screen clean and seems to be more precise than using your finger (especially for links in web pages). One thing to point out is that it is smaller than you expect. The pictures make it look like a normal full size pen, but it is a little more compact (perhaps 80% of normal) making it easy to hold and use. Obviously the tip is still rounded and so it will not be ultra precise. I use a Wacom stylus (graphics pad) on my PC and a stylus on my HP TM2t tablet. Both of these are extremely precise, but the Samsung stylus for the SGT is a step in the right direction.
Great stylus. I have one. I would like to see something with a more precise tip though.

[Q] Galaxy Tab S 10.5" Keyboard + Cover/Protector/Pouch compatibility?

Hi everyone, this is my first post, so thanks for reading!
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5", and along with it I got the Samsung Bluetooth Keyboard. It's great and sleek; they work really well together. However, I am still wary of scratching up the tablet since the keyboard doesn't come with a cover and only serves as a stand.
I was wondering whether there are any covers for the tablet available that would be compatible with the keyboard; AUA: the tablet will still fit in the keyboard while it has the cover/protector attached. If not, I was wondering if there are any great pouches big and snug enough to keep the tablet folded with the keyboard inside? A pouch might be nice actually since the keyboard itself was rather expensive as well, so keeping it in good condition is preferable.
I hope the answers here help others, too, because I couldn't really find any threads addressing this issue.
Here is the keyboard in question: samsung . com /us/ mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/EJ-CT800UAEGUJ
Many thanks!
PS. It would be nice to have a cover/protector to complement this titanium bronze color. Not necessary though :fingers-crossed:
PPS. I know this sorta belongs in the Galaxy Tab S Accessories forum, but I was warned that posting questions there is against the rules.
There should be plenty of netbook cases fitting it.
Aw alright thanks

Hmm well if that's the only option then I guess that's alright with me. I was just hoping that there was a more eloquent solution.
I'll definitely look into it though. Thank you very much for your advice.
I hope Samsung does eventually produce a matching case or pouch for the tab + keyboard.
I have this and it protects the screen while closed (there are 4 plastic holders at the edges) or do you want the backside to be protected as well?

oh yeah it protects my screen well when it is closed. I just wanted something for the back for when I close it and carry it around. I don't want to scratch the tablet anywhere; as little as possible at least
I got the Logitech keyboard instead because it was $50 cheaper and protects both the screen and the back of the tablet. I'd suggest you return the Samsung keyboard and get the Logitech one

Thanks but I tried the logitech one and I didn't like the feel. It felt cheaper. Also they let me buy the Samsung one for 50% off cuz I asked
Haha well to each his own!
I got this one and have only had it a couple days. Keyboard is included and seems to work well.

I have the Samsung book cover that I love but if I wanted a keyboard it would be this one. Very nice at a good price. Good find.
I have this one for a quick running out the door cover, no keyboard. One not so good feature, it's really hard to use it for a stand. Doesn't work well for that but otherwise it's super. I've got one for my Note 3 also.

S-Pen Stylus with Stylus Holder

Question for those of you who had the original Galaxy note n7000 or i717, but also know what the 10.1 s-pen "feels" like...
I recently purchased an "S-pen Holder" off of eBay for use with my Note 10.1 (n8000), though the s-pen that comes with it is intended for the Original Galaxy Note (n7000).
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-S-Pen-Stylus-Holder/dp/B0076Z3GMG
I thought that while the note devices had undergone improvements, the actual s-pens were functionally the same, so I figured I would be nice to have a more pen-like s-pen. The s-pen that fits in the holder does function, but it is definitely NOT the same. While the pen holder is very very nice, the actual S-pen that fits inside of it is absolute crap compared to the one that comes with the note 10.1. The tip is very hard, and does not have the "gumminess" that allows the pen to lay down that nice real pressure sensitive line.
So my question is, does anyone know if they ever make a less crummy pen for the n7000? Is there one available with has more of that modern Galaxy note feel to it? Or, is there a decent aftermarket pen with the same form factor?
I want to keep this fantastic holder, but I will not be able to use this s-pen. The problem is that the case only fits the pen in the shape made for the n7000 and i1717. I already asked the same question on the forums for those devices, which are ghost towns.
Any input would be great.

[Q] Can you use a decent stylus?

Hello everyone,
I am not sure whether to get a note 10.1 or a tab s 10.5.
The tab s is better for me in everything except for the lack of spen.
To be honest the stylus would be useful for note taking purposes.
I dont care about the pressure sensitivity or fancy stuff.
Can you do this with a tab s and another pen?
Thanks!
Note taking is limited. Mainly due to lack of software. Fine tip c styluses work nicely on Tab s, the inductive type styluses do not.

Try this....works OK but not 'fine' IMHO.

Non magnetic Tab S2 case for Tab S3?

Hey guys
So I haven't found a non magnetic case for the Tab S3, the only one I've found is this one for the Tab S2. So I was wondering, other than the camera hole which does not fit the flash (and honestly I don't remember using the flash on my old 8.4 Tab Pro, so I'm good having it covered) , will this fit the Tab S3?
I've bought this other one in black but as nice it looks and feels, the 6 magnets that are everywhere are interfering the SPen function, so it's going back.
Thanks for any help
UPDATE 01/29/19: Never mind, I found the proper version of this case for the S3 HERE . Will review it and test for magnets once I have it.
