Hi all,
Just wondering is there a setting that allows you to toggle quickly between the camera and video when using the rear camera?
I know with the front facing camera both the camera and video buttons are present on the screen allowing you to quickly change mode.

hey. I want to get rid of the sound when zooming in camera mode. I Know I could turn down or deactivate the ringtone-volume each time, what I think is a usability bug. If there is no workaround, can anybody tell me where to find the soundsource in the filesystem (not under system/media/audio/ui) so that I can root-replace it with a 0kb file. plz no help-postings regarding pros and cons of a digital zoom or how to edit pix on the defy after taking them.
AutoFocus Sound??
that is not software sound.
not the autofocus sound, the zoom-sound (volume up or down) while taking a photo. This is a system sound. Seems to be the same sound that occurs when switching off the device.
Hey so I'm having issues with my snapchat video recording. I can record video on my normal camera front and back camera, but on snapchat it will record my back camera just fine. Not my front camera at all. Have tried multiple ROMs. Same issue with all. Not sure if there is even a fix for this. Please help
I was wondering if there is an option to not start recording a video when you press the video record button. Instead i just want it to switch to video mode without recording right away.
Think of it as always in video and camera standby mode. No need to switch to either.
I noticed that often my video appears with distorted colors (as visible to the other side) when using Google Duo with front camera. The effect is temporarily and goes away after i wave hand at front camera or touch the camera lens. This only happens in Duo and not in any other video apps.
Any idea what might be cauising this ideas if this is related to Duo only (does not happen on my other phone) or if it is even related to OP3?
Is there a way to keep the flashlight on whilst then using the camera?
I know on older phones you simply toggled flashlight/torch on and then opened the camera app, but it turns off with the pixel
night sight isn't what i'm after on this occasion either
anyone managed it?
