Has anybody noticed that apps and their text are very small on the tablet? Apps like Facebook, Instagram. I know this is due to the resolution but is their a fix to this? Thanks

[Q] No Notifications from Apps

Hey all, hopefully you can help me here. It seems like any ROM that I flash other than a stock ROM will not show notifications from apps such as Facebook, CNN, etc. I have checked the apps and notifications are on both within the app and in their App Manager listings. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to fix it? Thanks!

[Q] Smart Scroll in non-samsung apps

Hi dears
did anyone got how enable smart scroll in non-samsung apps like Chrome, Gmail, Pocket,,,, ??
Any tricks without rooting the device??

Apps with Overlays keep crashing.

I've been having a problem for a little while now.
Certain apps will randomly crash, the only thing I've found in common is they are all ones with some sort of overlay code I guess.
Generally when one of them crashes all of them do.
Apps affected:
-Facebook Messenger Chat Heads (main app works, chat heads just crash)
-Battery Widget+
-Light Grid (live wallpaper)
-Fleksy (keyboard)
I have Light Grid set to change color depending on battery. I originally thought it might be a conflict with Battery Widget+, but I have had the same problem with other Live Wallpapers.
I've tried removing a lot of apps I don't use any more, but can't seem to kick this problem.
anyone have any ideas?
Or maybe an app that can scan for the cause of app crashes or something?
Any help would be AMAZING!

Samsung S9 Icon Frames Issue

Hi all,
New to the forum, so be gentle!
I just unpacked and configured my new S9+. One issue is that the Icon Frames-Icons only option only works with particular apps (this was not an issue with the S8). Specifically, I notice that certain apps (Google Voice, Google Calendar, Gmail) all have that ugly white border around them. I scoured the internet and couldn't find a fix. Does anyone have guidance on how to remove these borders? Thanks in advance!
Coming from the S7, I noticed the same issue: some icons are displayed as the setting imply, others are not. I didn't have this problem on my S7: all icons were borderless. I tried turning the setting on/off, restarting the phone with no success. It must be the themes app.
It is not the themes app and restarting the phone won't work.
This is a feature of Oreo. Most icons now follow certain design guides for symmetry including all google apps.
It might be so, but not all Google apps follow this new "feature" of Oreo. For example: Maps, Docs, Slides, Hangouts, Translate don't have the border.
Thanks, all. Is the only way to adjust the appearance to use something like Nova Launcher?
I'm seeing the same issue coming from a S7, doesn't look like my wife's S8 has the problem either.
I noticed this too, how can I restore the default icons, I was messing with the themes and lost them?
