[Q] CSC spanish for i747M - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Who have the D2CAN Spanish file.
csc 4.4.2

Its not a file that makes a language work. It has to be built in throughout the rom. Then the languages.xml file can be used to enable it.
---------- Post added at 07:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:42 PM ----------
You can flash this to enable all Available languages.

Thanks but this file don't work to me. My phone model is I747M by the way thanks 4 ur help

If it didn't work, that means your current rom is not capable of using the languages you wanted.

Am using Carrier I747MOYAFNF2_I747MVLUFNF2 from SAMMOBILE.
Thanks @Docholiday
..

I don't know what languages are available in each carriers build. But flashing the file I posted should enable any language available on any rom. Have you tried the Wind NE6 base rom that CNexus? Pretty sure I heard that one of the I747M carriers had more languages than the others.

i read it dont have spanish.. if u talking about it ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2788464&page=3

Yeah, that's the one I was referring to. Not sure if it does or doesn't have what you need, but its the only one I'm aware of right now.
Alternative: get Mobile Odin and read up on how to use it. You can use it to flash the other carriers firmware. Just make sure you de-select the modem and recovery.
It will be safe to use in your case because it does not flash bootloader or base parts of the firmware. It only flashes system, kernel, modem, recovery and cache. So if you tell it not to flash the modem or recovery, it'll easy be like flashing a rom by selectively using only parts of the full firmware.

I have seen some international rom that adds the support for the T-mobile Note 2. But I have not tried it myself.
As to make the multiview screen work, I think we need a firmware update, just flash a rom on it will not work. So we are still waiting T-Mobile to make some action.
Correct me if I am wrong.
multiwindow
we just need one with full firmware update and all working for multiwindow
i hop some one can fix it

How to use this firmware with Odin?
I'm far from being well-versed in Android development, etc., but I have successfully flashed a couple of Samsung Galaxy devices using Odin and a firmware file. However, I can't seem to figure out a way to use the files I downloaded via this thread. I got both the "STOCK" and the "STOCK-deodexed-rooted" .ZIP files. When I extract the contents of the ZIP, I don't find any files of the kind that Odin is looking for (*.tar, *.md5, *.smd, etc.)
What am I missing? Can someone help me understand how to use these files I've downloaded with Odin to flash the firmware of this tablet? I recently flashed a Note 3 using Odin, but the firmware I found for it came in a file with a .tar.md5 extension, and Odin let me select it and knew just what to do with it.
Thanks!

4.4.2 KitKat-OmniROM - Mobile Network/ Baseband/IMEI/ Sim Card Problems

Hello all,
Recently flashed the latest OmniROM 4.4.2 KitKat on a Rogers i747 from a 4.3 CarbonROM, but as a result, I no longer have any mobile network connection whatsoever. Can't even make an emergency call. Wifi does work though.
I'm running:
omni-4.4.2-20140205-d2att-HOMEMADE
CWM 6.0.4.7
SuperSU 1.91
and flashed the latest bootloader boot_CWM_I747MVLUEMK5 as I was getting a status 7 error before I did this when flashing the ROM zip.
When I go into Mobile Network settings, it says insert SIM and restart if I try to access Mobile Plan (already tried)`, IMEI and basband is unknown. Basically everything in the phone status menu is unknown or disconnected. I am unable to add APN settings for some reason as I can enter it all but it will not save.
I haven't tried flashing a different radio yet and I cannot seem to find much through searches.
If more info is required for a diagnosis I'll try my best to provide it.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated
Cheers!
Problem solved. Didn't realize no modem was installed.

PLEASE KEEP FOR VISIBILITY
your post saved my phone. I recently flashed a CM11 nightly (cm-11-20140211-NIGHTLY-d2att.zip), was forced to update my bootloader using "boot_CWM_I747MVLUEMK5" in order to do so (would get failed prop bootloader error), and when i booted the phone i lost all signal as well.
Lost IMEI, unknown baseband. Tried to inject IMEI to no avail all day, until i saw this post, with such a simple fix.
THANK YOU
Network is disabled!

You need to find a flashable modem for your phone. Then flash it with twrp cwm or what ever the custom recovery for your phone is.
This forum is for the Samsung galaxy S3 SGH-I747 and SGH-I747M. You should go to the galaxy note forum. I am sure there is some stuff in the development section or read some stickies and the search function is your friend.

Hi!
I've a similar problem, my i747m is unlocked with "123Unlock.nl" and i recently update my OS to 4.3 but i can't connect to the 3G/LTE network, i've already tried with TELCEL and IUSACELL chip and 3 differents ROMS but i can only use the 2G network, before i unlocked my phone i used the phone with TELCEL (LTE).
Anybody has any idea what could it be?

Guess I've been out of the loop. I'm running the previous 4.4.4; can this just be installed in recovery or does this bring in a new bootloader? Have you seen any differences with the new modem?
Thanks for helping keep the development rolling with the S4!

Modem, rom, kernel
Rom kernel modem

Thanks for your fast reply. I'm having a difficult time getting this to work.
I did the modem, before i even did anything else and verified that the baseband said nk2.
Then i tried installing the rom, and then immediately installing the kernal, then booting into system.
It all seems to work but i can't seem to get wifi to turn on. So i tried wiping all again, and booting into system and same thing.
Any suggestions? I'm trying to flash the system again without the kernel and will see if it works. Can you help explain what the kernel does?
thanks shinyside

Shouldn't have an issue, least none of the 60 download and runners, have said anything or reported any issues.
What bootloader and such are you on?
Just set to permissive, or should be haha, I don't have my s4 anymore to check. Should say permissive in Settings. Stock kernel is set to enforcing which is a "security" thing that blocks stuff like a lot of root apps or xposed/xposed modules from working properly. It's the stock kernel, just the ramdisk is edited to be permissive.

From what I know using both: modem (baseband) and additional support languages.
From what I have experienced, lte reception is a tat better.

Stock is always nice, but I was thinking that there was a new service that was an addition to what was previously released.
Thinking that there was a cross over to Lollipop with a touch-wiz enhancement.
Some new security level or even a Samsung service with data like you mentioned enhancement with LTE. . .
Even though it is Stock, I sure would like to know what was different about this release and why is Samsung pushing this release out.
Hopefully it wont be long before other developers pick this puppy up and tweak the heck of the property build and include the 4 way reboot and such . ...
Stock is always sweet :good:

You'd have use the settings, framework, system ui, mms, contacts, phone, and all to use the systemui and settings from HispAsian. I modded and themed the living hell out of that rom, and you'd have some major text issues and other ui issues, using its systemui and settings in this base among other issues probably. Have to use the ones from the base and just mod it in

I think you can't install an original rom Samsung with zip , only with Odin.
Have you try with Odin PC 3.07 , sometimes the 3.09 version of Odin doesn't work.
An other solution is to install an rom custom ( is possible with zip) and after an rom samsung with odin.
You really want a 4.1.2 version ?

An other solution is to install an rom custom ( is possible with zip) and after an rom samsung with odin.
You really want a 4.1.2 version ?

Sorry , I searched on internet and a full wipe rom 4.1.2 doesn't exist.
The best is to install a full wipe rom Samsung

i have tried all that my friend. the problem is new bootloader don't let you flash an old rom from odin, the solutions are given to it but they are not working for me. and some are very lengthy process,
i will definitely go for the lengthy process if no one has a backup of it here, i'm just betting that may be someone has the backup and can share with me so i don't have to go for long process, as i'm very busy.
and yes i need 4.1.2, i don't mind if someone can point to me a custom rom 4.1.2 but it should be stable,
