Hello guys! I have rooted optimus g, official firmware, unlocked bootloader. I tried update to the new
kitkat update, but after the download, when installing,an error coming up. Then the phone restarts
and a messaga that i cannot update because the phone may be rooted appears.
I unistall root via superuser settings but the problem still exists. So is there any way to update
to official kitkat? If not, if i flash official 4.1 can i update official? Will i lose my archivers,
contacts,apps e.t.c on my phone?
A assume you installed custom recovery so official update can't execute with it. Just flash KDZ.

Hey guys, I just installed the new software update and it is v10j I was previously on v10i, I thought the new software update was v10L?
Check for the latest update here: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=IMEI_NUMBER_HERE
If it states you have v10j, in that case v10j is the latest version for your device. I reccomend manually upgrading by downloading a corresponding .kdz/.tot file and flash it onto your phone. Minimal knowledge is required and you never have to worry about updates from LG anymore.

If you're using LG Flash Tool 2014 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190) you can use Normal Flash. I quote from the OP: "Normal Flash: Flash ROM without losing any data. Only use this when you need to fix system error. Beware of boot loop when flashing ROM that differ from current ROM on your phone or MOD ROM."

False information shared by @Ernesto0023.
Following this guide will get you a secure boot error when attempting to boot into recovery. Even so following this guide is impossible because root is required and OP has no root on his kdz flashed MM.
My recommended solution would be reverting back to kitkat via kdz. If unfamiliar with the method follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
After reverting use the guide from post above: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-2-8-2-0-t2966129
to flash TWRP.
Then fell free to flash whatever you want in TWRP. If stock lollipop ROM is you what you desire, download zip from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/stock-t2961073
if stock MM is what you wish for download zips from here:

Yeah
Even so if his MM would somehow be rooted it was still kdz flashed so it contains
MM bootloader. That equals BUMP not working.
Hope you had fun.

Hi
I reverted to Lollipop from MM on my G3. If you are rooted and have TWRP installed you need to use TWRP to reset the phone, system, cache etc and SD card (internal) and then use Flash Tool 2014 and
Whichever .kdz you want depending on your region. I used d85520h.

Root it first on marshmallow, install custom recovery and then just flash whatever ROM you'd like. Or use the Flash tool method as recommended

Your all caps and profanity truly shows your ability to extensively articulate your issue.
Perhaps you'd get more information and answers if you detailed what diagnostic steps you have taken, and then post in the G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

Root the phone, format then flash stock ROM you downloaded onto the external SD. But, why would you want to. I think 6.0 is the Windows 7 of Android. If you have that you will be in the loop with incremental updates rather than being stuck with what the ROM has.
Hi is there any Way i can easly update my software? Im on V10b now and wish to update to the latest version? Device is not rooted and bl is still locked.
The Phone doesn't see any update through the settings. Please help.
