Hey guys,
I've got a problem with my galaxy wonder.. It won't start anymore. If I try to start it just shows the "Samsung" Logo for about a second and restarts again and again. It stucks in a loop showing the samsung logo and then restarts.
I can still enter the download mode but not recovery. I tried to flash stack rom with Odin but it doesnt help.
Before the problem appeared I had the newest blacknotes rom installed. And this wasn't working very fine. Sometimes there were many FCs so I needed to restart the phone. Sometimes it just restarted without any message etc.
And today it wanted to restart again but then stuck in that loop. When i recognized the loop I took out the battery cause I thought it needs a "real" reboot.
Thanks in advance,
domidinosaur RAWR
Its Okay , No Problem you can just reflash it again using stock ROM. ^_^
It will be fixed.

Thanks for your answer.
But as said, I already tried to flash a Stock Rom with Odin. Seems like it worked but the "Samsung-Restart Loop" is still there x:

I had this problem before. when I flash 7th CWG ROM, my phone receiving so many FC, so I reboot and then its going to bootloop and bootloop again and I can't go to recovery too. Yes I try to flash stock ROM with odin but nope was change. The only way is to bring your phone back to SSC, they will replace your motherboard and it cost nothing on me
good luck
sorry for my bad english
Try flashing cwm again using Odin and then some custom ROM. That is what I had done.

I tried to do this too but without any success. Phone keeps stuck in that loop x:
And so I can't enter CWM to install a custom rom.
I guess the only way is to make use of my warranty. Am I right thinking that my warranty isn't lost when I have reflashed samsung firmware to the phone?

when flashing with odin, during the reboot do you see the robot? if you do then press the menu button when you see the robot and you will be in recovery. then do a factory reset, reboot.
Problem
I have the same problem. Phone is restarting again again and again. Can not open the recovery mode just download mode is available but when you try to flash with odin it isnt rebooting. How can i do about that i dont know.
Is there anyone have an idea ?
Finally after one month of waiting I got my Galaxy W back!
I made use of my warranty and Samsung replaced the mainboard.
But it took very long (4 weeks) / Maybe because of galaxy s3 problems or something..
@Aesir77
Use ODIN to reflash original firmare, although it won't reboot it is flashed.
After that you can make use of or warranty and bring it back to the store where u bought it (Thats what I did and it was EXACTLY the same problem)
Good luck mate!
I tried to flash to stock through odin mode and when it's rebooting it shows the Galaxy s3 logo, AT&T logo, and then it reaches the samsung logo and freezes. I'm thinking that the boot image is incorrect but I'm not sure. I tried to use the gs3 toolkit but every option in there requires USB debugging which I can't access since the phone wont boot. Help?
I also cannot find the CWM 5.8.4.7 recovery anywhere I can't restore my nandroid, it says "cannot restore /System" of the nandroid.
The only available CWM i have now is 5.5.X.X.

I kept trying to flash the stock ROM and it finally worked so disregard this thread or delete it please.
For anyone's information this all happened after I flashed the Ultimatum ROM while I was on CM9 nightly.
The ultimatum rom flashed successfully and i rebooted it and then...nothing, it was a black screen.
I still had access to the custom recovery and odin mode but even after restoring a nandroid it wouldn't boot.
I don't know why it did this but my stress is your knowledge.
Thanks!
In the future, just boot into the factory recovery after flashing in Odin and do a factory reset.

I'm having this same problem, stuck at the Samsung logo. This all happened when I was trying to restore to my backup after trying out a JB Rom, but it gave me an error when restoring system. I then tried to flash back to stock using Odin and here I am. Also I am trying to get to recovery but holding the 3 buttons isn't doing anything. Can anyone help me out?
nvm got it all fixed thank god
For anybody who flashes back to stock from ANY non stock rom. You must boot into recovery after the flash is done and clear your cache else you will get stuck at the Samsung logo

Here is a quick fix... spent my 8 hours, so now I am officially PHD in stuck at boot fix. If solution work, kindly hit the thnx button:
This thread didnt help. However I was able to fix my phone. Since I was not able to boot the phone, I was not able to turn on USB debugging that many softwares inluding the link you have mentioned required. So this is what I did for the benefit of those who may face this in the future:
1. Booted into the download mode vol- + power+ home key
2. When in download mode, I installed clockwork recovrey for ATT Samsung S3 which can be found at many links. I cant paste her as I dont have the rights to post links yet. But the filename was CF-SGS3-CWM-v5.5-v1.0.tar. The file I downloaded had a .tar.md5 ext, I just deleted the.md5 extension so I was left with CF-SGS3-CWM-v5.5-v1.0.tar
3. Than I used Odin and selected the above file as PDA and left everything else at default
4. The phone rebooted but again was going to go into the unending samsung logo. So shutdown the phone.
5. Than I did vol+ + home + power key and THANKFULLY booted into recovery
6. Thereone it was simple, that is restore factory defaults, wipe cache, wipe delvik cache etc etc. and boom. I am back in my phone.
Thank god, almost had a mini stroke!!!
P.S. Had lost root upon reboot. Did many things but device would keep loosing root. I went to CWM recovery and selected "fix permissions" bang.. phone back to how I used to like it rooted and booted!
thank you magn2o

omg thank you so much for that. purchased a rooted cynagenmod att s3. was not happy with it. so i flashed it back to stock rom with use of mobil odin. it was stuck on samsung screen while booting up. so i read and researched a bunch of threads. decided to download odin and another tar. samething happened. if i knew it was as easy as a factory reset it would have saved me some time. is there anyway to just post the fix earlier in the thread. or somehow make it come up as the first link when you perform a search? just asking for other people. just in case .thanks again xda. you guys always come through.

Not working for me.
I'm stuck at Samsung Logo.
Tried to do the factory reset in stock recovery that's loaded after ROM install with Odin, no go.
Installed CWM recovery and tried to do reset / wipe cache/ wiped davlik/ no go
Tried to re-download ROM and tried again, no go.
Tried to load TeamWin recovery and do the same thing no go.
Still stuck at Samsung logo -
Waited good 15 20 min and still stuck
I just had the same problem. Flashing Samsung logo...thought that I was screwed. I tried to keep calm throughout the whole thing...(kind of helped) and did this. After Odin failed a few times I decided to restart my computer. After that it had to reinstall the drivers for the phone, ran Odin again, succeeded. Phone booted normally after that. I would suggest keeping the default settings in Odin as it appears (AutoReboot, etc) and do it that way. So:
1) If fails, restart computer.
2)Run Odin with defaults
3)Let the magic work
4) Enjoy your working phone, or start with number one again.
Hope this helps!

I had this exact same situation when I tried to do a restore after i flashed cm 10. It failed on the system folder and the phone was no longer able to connect to computer. I just reflashed the cm10 and it came back to normal boot and would be able to be reverted back to stock threw Odin. If you flashed the stock firmware I'm surprised its not fixed . but I would just somehow flash a new ROM.

Hello,
I have a very strange problem with my Note 2.... Yesterday i checked mails on my Note 2 when it suddenly shut down and rebooted.
First i didnt think it was a big issue but when it was on login screen where i have to enter my PIN i just touched the screen and it shut down again. Same thing happened again after that. Now it doesnt even boot up anymore... It just stays on Samsung bootscreen all the time. I can get into Download mode but not into recovery for some reason. I had no custom rom or anything else installed on my device. It was completely Stock.
I already tried flashing the firmware again via Odin but without any success....
Now i don't know what to do anymore and hope one of you guys can help me get back into my phone as i don't want to lose the data on it
Thank you in advance
Best regards

Try doing a data/factory reset and wipe cache in recovery, you`ll loose the data though. But it is the only way imo.

Anyone else with an Idea? What i also think is strange is that it says in Download mode that i downloaded 5 Custom Roms and my Current Binary and System Status are Custom???? I just installed the official firmware from SamMobile again -.-
Noone able to help me? I'm going insane at the moment cause nothing works.... Even when i plug in the usb cable the phone boots to the Galaxy Note 2 screen and nothing else happens.... In download modus it says i'm on a custom rom what i never installed to begin with....i only installed Stock Rom.... Please help what should i do T_T
So now i flashed the Rescue Rom but it did not change anything. Odin completed the flashing without errors though nothing changed. Also tried flashing Stock Firmware again but the status in download mode still shows custom system and binary.... Could it be that Odin is not flashing correctly though it is not giving me any errors?
I'm really desperate at the moment -.-
My galaxy s1 was bricked at one stage. I took the battery out and left it for am hour then I got it to boot into download mode. Are you putting the right rom on it? Like a whole factory rom?

Already tried root with CWM but it won't go into recovery either. I also tried flashing the rescue rom with Pit-File but it does not go further than bootscreen. At the moment i really don't know whats wrong with the phone and i'm a bit desperate right now....

Boot screen stuck
Hi TS,
U need to first let us know which variant of the note 2 u are using.
is u want to solve the bootloop issue,u need to follow these step as posted by someone here:
1. flash CWM using odin, then boot into CWM(power+vol up+that centre button) then wipe dalvik> cache partition > then data reset
2.DL sammy's official firmware for your note variant (7105 or 7100 or whatever)
3.flash sammy's firmware thru odin
4.let phone boot into android
then do whatever you need to do.
I had the same prob at you did, followed that guy's advice and not everything is back to factory and i can send it in for warranty.
I have the stock rom/kernel installed on my phone after being on CM11 for a while. The process worked fine and I have been on stock LG for about 2 weeks. This morning, I turned on my phone and it came up with a notification saying I can update the phone to a newer version. I clicked okay and it turned off into Clockwork Mod Recovery. It didn't update, and after waiting about 3 minuted I just went ahead and clicked on re-boot device. It showed the LG logo and then did the color rotation on the home button. Then it showed up Clockwork Mod Recovery again. So after rebooting and clearing user data, cache, and dalvik cache. The phone still boots into recovery. Please help! :crying:

flash twrp, reboot(say yes when prompted to fix root). If still in bootloop after that you will need to flash a rom.
same thing happened to me, was up all night trying to fix it. the solution was to use lgflashtool and flash back to a totally stock rom and start over. sure hope it doesn't happen again.

Its in the lg g pro general section.
I've tried to revert rooted 4.1.2 with CWM via LG Mobile Support tool, but I got completely unexpected result - phone was updated to KitKat, so you can try that variant too.
Never install OTA updates when using custom recovery, unless you want trouble. OTA needs stock recovery.

I really hate this bootloop issue and am really sad to see all these posts about people bricking their phones or getting bootloops etc.
I'm not saying that people are stupid or careless, it's just that we need a whole new set of recoveries, tools, etc for Kitkat and don;t have what's needed without causing problems.
I really wish I was a developer. I'd create all this stuff myself if I could.
I solved my issue just by flashing cwm on top of my old recovery, which is another cwm. Just glade that I didn't have to use the lg flashtools.
fix
1 . dowload this rom fom the link

2 . put it on your externel sdcard
3 . wipe and flash the rom , it has aroma instaler

5. power off the phone off
6 .inter download mode , volume down , home buton , power
7 . the phone will ask you if you want to factory reset say yes
the phone will reboot
use freegee for new recovery , and if i was you i will stick whit that rom

Performed CF-Auto-Root 2.5 years ago. Ran like a champ until last week when phone got boot stuck on white T-mobile logo.
will not start in Safe Mode - press power till Galaxy Note 3 logo shows up, then vol down. does not start in safe mode
Put in Recovery (power, home, vol up), wiped cache, reboot . still boot stuck at T mobile logo
Put in download mode (power, home, vol down), Re-flashed with Odin3-v3.07.exe CF latest SM-N900T (T-Mobile US): CF-Auto-Root-hltetmo-hltetmo-smn900t.zip , extracted to .tar.md5, still boot stuck
Put in Recovery (power, home, vol up), wipe data/factory reset, then reboot. got past Tmobile white boot screen.
Must keep phone on and not reboot otherwise , I will need to wipe data/factory reset each time to boot and get past Tmobile logo

The Latest CF-AUTO-ROOT flashed with Odin installed latest SuperSu v2.82 and has stock recovery with stock rom.
Why is phone stuck at boot? Why install custom recovery, I did not need it before? And if so, Which one? Why would SuperSu zip be needed if latest version is already installed?
My TMo Note3 did the exact same thing last week. (I was still on v4.4.2.) After fiddling with it a little bit, I decided to try a factory-reset. That worked, and then after signing into google, all my apps started to re-download and install. Once that completed, I rebooted and again got stuck at the white TMo screen. Eventually I just bit the bullet and flash-updated it to v5. I disabled auto-installing my apps, and carefully installed just the apps I really wanted, rebooting after a few at a time just to see if I could catch whatever was causing it. But after getting all my apps installed, it's working fine now with no reboot issues.
My personal guess (no direct evidence) is that one of the apps was breaking the bootup somehow.
Looks like I am not the only one having this problem. I don't think this would have suddenly happen. I think there must of have been something with a Samsung update that caused the boot to stick at the Tmobile logo. I am thinking I am just going to have to update from 4.4.2 to 5 and trip my knox. Unless someone else has any other ideas.
Thanks for replying. So you upgraded from 4.4.2 to 5.0. How? What does it matter if you trip Knox if phone is already rooted?
I think cfautoroot will always trip the Knox indicator if the phone is running a 4.3 or newer bootloader.
Tried flashing supersu from twrp to get root?

I used Samsung's Smart Switch PC. One of the "features" is that it will detect the older Android OS on your phone and offer to install the latest - albeit at the cost of a total wipe and re-flash. (Hence why it recommends you use the app to first back up your phone.) I my case, I had nothing to lose since I couldn't get out of the boot-up screen, and I had already done a factory-reset.
I don't know how this will affect the Knox flag. I never tripped that flag, so I can't say if this will reset it or not.

so download the pc version, connect phone, and it will wipe and install Android 5.0
Phone was rooted with CF-autoroot , will phone stay rooted after android upgrade from 4.4 2 to 5.0 ? Or will I need to redo CF-autoroot?
Earlier post indicated that autpupdate of apps may be interfering with boot and is cause of boot stuck at Tmobike logo. Post suggests to install apps one at a time and disable autoupdate of apps. Has one app been identified as suspect app? What other steps should I take to prevent recurrance?
TWRP recovery. Do I need to install it to prevent boot stuck issue? How does it help prevent recurrance of boot stuck issue?

yes. it will offer the "upgrade" and if you accept, it will wipe and re-flash with the stock OS.

this will wipe the phone and install the stock OS, so no, it will not stay rooted after this.

that was my attempt at recovering from a factory reset on 4.4.2. my guess was that one of the apps caused the boot-problem, but I can't be sure.

wiping the phone and re-flashing to stock OS is what I did to avoid the boot-problem. I've got no idea about using TWRP since I've never used it.

again, wiping and re-flashing to stock OS should totally clear out any software-related problem.
if your phone has some hardware issue, you're out of luck.

nope. so far I haven't needed root. Android 5.0 has a (rather clunky) way to handle giving specific apps write access to the sdcard, thus eliminating the only reason I would need root.
Curious, Is installing Android 5.0 using Samsung switch PC same as flashing sambile latest SM-900T firmware https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-note3/SM-N900T/TMB/download/N900TUVSFPL1/120222/ ?

Downloaded latest SM-N900T Android 5.0.1 stock Ron & Kernel and flashed with Odin v3.12. Did not wipe out personal data but lost root.
This, took care of the boot stuck at T-Mobile logo
Re-flashed CF-AUTO root to restore root access.
Hope these steps help somebody.
