Have an ATT Optimus G Pro and I am stuck on bootloop at the LG symbol. I have attempted all listed options as I have been reading and searching for 4 hours now. Please help me with this. One issue I think may be the issue is I only have access to a windows 8 machine. I am running a rooted stock rom with CWM installed. Haven't even deleted any bloat yet. Can anyone give me a new idea?

That would be awesome if I could make it into recovery. I can get download mode, but thats the best I can get. I can get to hard reset, but that just puts it in a different loop. Samsung is so much easier.

I am having this same problem and the recovery flash tool does not recognize device for me after installing all drivers and reboot. Any other options?

If that doesn't work then you can try this
I have tried to use the lg flash too but my problem is that I cannot get the computer to recognize the phone even though the phone goes into download mode and the drivers are installed on the phone. I have an att 3980 phone (united states). Please help...stuck at lg logo.

Update: I was able to get to hard reset (holding down volume and power keys at same time). This took me to cwm recovery and then I reflashed beanstalk rom that I was on (fortunately, it was still on my phone) and then reflashed gapps.

I need help really bad. I was flashing a Korean F240K 4.4.2 rom on my E988 and at around 95% I got a Wparam error. Now my phone is bricked. I can't even enter download mode. I think it is bricked for good.. :crying:
Wparam error is the sign of a faulty .kdz as far as I know. My phone is totally blank, my laptop doesn't recognize it either. Have I lost the phone ? Please someone. Is there still hope ? Or is that it ? How can something like this happen during a firmware flash ?
Can you get the phone into download mode? With the phone powered off, press both the volume keys together and you are in download mode

That's the problem. I can't. The phone is totally blank. The computer doesn't recognize it either. What could I do now ? Is there a way out ? I am starting to think that I can't do anything. :crying: And all this because of a firmware flash that has gone wrong. I can't believe it...

You will probably have to change the motherboard of the phone. Try using different combinations of key to enter recovery. Press both the volume buttons simultaneously while connected to computer using usb cable. See if this works or else you will have to submit it to the service center.

I have flashed a corrupt file
If it does not enter recovery or download mode it will be difficult to solve the brick. Try going download mode and even though it doesn't appear "download mode" on your phone screen look if your computer recognizes the phone so you can procced

Well, if you just flashed some file there is a chance to get your phone back to life. Install LG drivers and tell us how does it recognising on PC? I mean: what nomber of Qualcomm devise will it show?
If it will be 9006 - then it's good. Look somthing like that:

If it will be 9008 - you've got a problems... Some of instructions could help. But for example my phone with this code was dead totaly - chip burned. But it was not becuse of bad flashing. I thing that previous owner of it has droped it in a water ))))

Use LG Flash tool and before starting disconnect from internet. Steps:
install lg drivers
enter to download mode (turn off, push vol up&down and plug usb)
copy kdz file into LG flashtool folder
disconnect internet
run lg flashtool (needs visual c++ runtime library), CDMA/diag/33000 click CSE Flash
no need to change language, wait until 100%

If you get that warning, don't click or close that warning, the flasing is still running.
I always get it when flasing kdz on my F240L so I'm sure about that.

Have you tried another usb port and cable? Also try cse flash.

same issue with me. I got stucked at 25 percent. It was on jb tried to flash kitkat it stucked on download mode now. Any solution. I change usb cable but same response. May be tot can sort it out but no working link for f240s
Hey all, I think I broke my G4 h811 , but not at all because I can access to download mode, the problem is that when I try to open LGUP or LG flash tools, my LG appears as UNKNOW MODEL, and because of that I can´t install the kdz file, I tried to re install all the drives and so on, I am working in a win 10 laptop. Someone that can help me. Thanks!!! I will be waiting for a answer.
Enable usb debugging mod in settings>developer options. And also make sure that you have all the lg drivers installed and working. I am sure you will be fine.

Try using LGBridge and clicking the update error recovery.
You are coming from an international rom right?
change port number. or task manager adb kill

So using the hardware buttons, and clicking yes through the factory reset confirmation does not boot you into recovery mode? Did you format your internal memory?

using hardware buttons and clicking yes the phone just restarted and that´s it. I didn´t format my internal memory. I was trying to fix my phone by using kdz files but the problem is that the programs as lg flash tool and LGUP don´t recognize the model of my lg g4.

What firmware were you on? What message did LGBridge say when you tried error update recovery?
I have the same problem with my H815 and Windows 10. All drivers are set up correctly. In device manager, I can see the device and ADB Device, but LGUP won't recognize my G4. Obviously, LGUP is buggy...
Is there any better tooling to upgrade to a more recent ROM? Otherwise, I really would have to change to CM13 - upgrading is very easy and not any nasty USB stuff what in the end may not work at all...

I am porting the h811 20i, LGBridge say just that there are not update errors that can be recovered

Download this driver. This will help you.
I am new to this forum so I can not link, but you have to look for LG driver version 3.14.1
I had the same problem today and it helped me.
