I used to use Battery Monitor Widget which has a helpful stat that shows how many mA are going into the battery while charging. It was really useful for evaluating different chargers and cables. However, it doesn't work on the Tab S. I tried a couple of the top rated battery apps, but they just displayed general information like "fast charging", which makes comparisons impossible.
You need to install the helper app so it can read battery statistics in Kit Kat firmware.
Open the app to the " statistics " tab :
http://www.3c71.com/android/?q=node/922
" Install helper " tab will then be located in bottom right hand corner.

Has anyone found an app that will show you which applications are chewing up all the mobile data?
My phone has been sitting on my desk for the past 4 hours and has used up 10mb of data...
I use Traffic Stats Lite from the market. The free one shows you which apps are using the data and you can buy the pro version which has nice pretty graphs
It can show totals to date or just how much has been used today
Great suff, App works great! THANKS!
Using "Data counter widget" at the moment. It doesn't have the graphs like TSL but it's a hand little widget to see at a glance how much data you're using.
HI Xda members could you please tell me or provide me the links to download best battery saver for n7100 :good:

Best power saving method I found was a MUGEN 6400mAh extended battery, why get a phone like this then turn off all the good stuff.
If power is a REAL issue consider the MUGEN, dont go for one if the cheap backs, I brought one wast of money.
The standard battery should give you a day easy, have mine overclocked to 1.8ghz always gave me a good full day on standard battery.
If you really wants to save power the way do it is this.
1. Stop unnecessary widgets from running
2. Stop unecesary services
3. No live wallpaper
How -
Download Autostarts from the play store, this program allows you to do all if the above.
This usually saves more battery power than anything else. WHY HAVE TWENTY SERVICES RUNNING WHEN YOU ONLY NEED 1 WIDGET.
Be careful as this program is powerful and with power come responsibility.

How old is your GN2? Age also degrades battery.
You can try Greenify to hibernate all user apps (but not those which you need notification from.) You can also try to freeze unused system apps using TB Pro or other free apps (there is a list presented somewhere in the DN3 thread, try search)
Goodluck.

about 4months , so i don't think its the age
For battery capacity is warranty for 6 months.
But use Wakelock Detector or Better Battery stats and see the results.
Use the app battery life repair. It activates the inactive cells in a battery. I found it to be useful.

Firstly, there is no reason to put all your writing in bold.
Second, your battery is either dying or you have too many things running in background. Check to see if you have backup services like picasa etc syncing without you realising. Go through everything and turn off the things you dont need/want.
Re calibrate your battery. It will help. There is an app called battery calibration in play store. If that doesn't work you can try manually. I forgot the method though. It really helped me

There are plenty of apps in store which work perfectly. For example, an app called Battery History from play store reports and loggs time taken for each % of battery lost while using along with mAh involved and also gained while charging.
as above, how do i monitor the battery level of my phone on the watch?
Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Find a watchface that has that info.
http://apps.samsung.com/gear/appDetail.as?appId=U1buYqN5qZ
Nevermind the poor reviews. As long as you install the companion app which allows phone battery communication to be sent to the watchface, this should work (at least it has for me). The ones which show phone battery on the display through Facer will not likely work.
If you swipe up-down, you will see shortcuts menu. At 12 o'clock it shows battery level.
try this watchface... completely free and great reviews

Use watchface with Watchmaker and you can add this info. You can also use app like "Toggle Gear".

I use Facer and there is many watchfaces there that do show the phone battery no problems.
