Hi all,
I am in Australia on the vodafone network. I recently flashed android revolution HD 5.1.3. and the recommended radio. The 3G network is still extremely slow. Any suggestion guys? Perhaps any other recommended radios?
Update to version 1.5.4

hello all
i currently have an optimus v and a nexus 7 that i can tether to the v. i switched to an optimus elite for a while, but it would only broadcast an adhoc signal that the nexus doesn't recognize (i tried the bluetooth tether but that isn't an ideal solution). i got my old v back but it is sluggish and showing its age especially after using the elite, and i'm now looking at a one v as my next phone. i need to know if the hotspot is adhoc or infrastructure before i pull the trigger. any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not to sure if oxygen has released a jb version but I've seen an oxygen port in the i4g/dhd threads. So my question, why isn't anyone interested in developing oxygen for our device ?

The Desire HD/Inspire 4G are old devices, most people have moved on now. Kinda sad, but it happens

I came from a lg optimus one...it had a fully functional oxygen GB and ICS ROM developed by popdog123. The lg is 3 years older than the inspire 3g. Not to mention I actually got an upgrade

So I was gonna pick up a KF HD 8.9 to play with and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts of the likelihood that someone will make a 'good' kitkat rom.
cheers

I suppose it is possible but I think at the moment the devs are focusing more on rooting and cracking the bootloader of the new Kindle devices.
I'm guessing no way

yeah, 4.4 may run faster than 4.3 on some devices which has 1G RAM like KFHD, otherwise, I dont think we need to upgrade to 4.4.
i've read that n2aos will eventually come out with one. but who knows when
Google says that Galaxy Nexus will not gonna be able to upgrade to 4.4 due to OMAP processor and KFHD is also a OMAP processor device, so ......

At the risk of getting flamed for a dumb noob question, does this thread imply that there is a stock JB ROM for the Fire 8.9" HD?
I've doing my best to find stuff for myself, but it's not that easy being green!
Not sure what the question is. There are custom ROM's for the 8.9 that's last years model. There is nothing yet for the 2013 Kindle's yet no matter the model.

Now I'm confused, according to Wikipedia there is only one version of the Kindle Fire HD 8.9", released on November 20, 2012.

Well, yea that's right. The new model is HDX. Only the 7" had a 2013 production as well. So what is your question?

Thank you. My question is that I'm looking for a stock Android ROM for the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" with 4G (which I think may be called LTE?). I've found one thread, but there doesn't seem to be a working version.

NICE! Thank you for the update!
Hello all,
Just curious if there is any Android 5.0.x for VK810 version of the GPAD yet.
From my understanding, Verzion Gpad 8.3 and GPE have the exact same hardware. If that is the case, can you port GPE ROM on to VK810?
Thank you
Bump.....any wonderful devs out there

Nope, not yet. If it happens, it probably won't be very soon. Wish it would at least get stock Lollipop.
