Thanks! I had been looking for this since May. Idk if EA has just stopped hosting the data for this version or what. I tried the data files from two other sources and they would crash after trying to start a game. Definitely backing up this for when my sd card decides to erase itself again...

Hello All,
My t989 keeps loosing connection when attached to any pc while copying files to the external sd card. Also cannot install roms, restore roms, or install any large files from that sd card. The card is a 64 gig card, but this behavior also occurs with the 32 gig card. This problem start happening apprx. 2 weeks ago. I've even reformatted both cards but the problem remains.
Any ideas folks?
My T989 is rooted, and I run PACMan rom and CM10.1.
Thank you everyone.

If you mount USB in recovery does it do the same thing? If so, you probably have a faulty USB port.

I'm beginning to think that my ROM has become corrupted/unstable and that may be the cause. I'll completely wipe and re-flash the sometime this week and see if that does the trick!

Depends. You might need to dirty flash. You might need a new SD card. You might need to remove xposed and test. No idea cause you gave no info.

Yes, it only like that and will repeat it until you insert a sim card. That's normal process from stock rom, I don't know how to disable it but I think in settings app there is available option for guide setup. Try to look at there or may be try to insert sim card first for test, and complete registration progress after complete you can pull out your sim card and see what happen . I'm not really remember about this part I'm didn't use stock rom almost a year ago

If you're able to disable Setup Guide, then try that. You can disable apps in Settings > Apps > All.

Hi guys!
My htc 10 is European s-one with bootloader unlocked and I loaded maximusHD 1.95.401 in it and stock kernel.
The problem is that during night I switch it off and recharge it and when I switch it on again it can restart itself up to 5 times before showing the 3 dots htc logo. Practically it restart the first vibration feed 3 to 5 times, seems like in a bootloop. Is that normal? Thanks for your help!

Thanks mate! Good news but not that good..i mean, my card is a brand new samsung 128gb and it's nearly empty. Today it started at first try, yesterday morning it took 5 times. Should I reformat the card in a particular way?

Most probably something screwed ur sd card up. you should try reformatting it and doing it again.
my guess is that maximus rom had something to do with it.
Hope it fixes ur issue!

Thanks for helping out! I think i will hold on and wait for Maximus nougat, format the Sd for the occasion and see if that happens again!
Does anyone knows which is the better format type for SD?

I believe that MaximusHD Nougat has been out for a day or two now.
Fun thing, I have the same problem as well.
At first it was scary but then I got used to it.
Also yes, I'm also using 128GB Samsung SD card but I don't know if that's the reason or not.

Really? It still gets on my nerves...I'll try to format the SD in a different format and see if it makes any difference. Usually how many times does your device restarts when you switch it on?

Okay, but as for your format SD question...
If it is less than 32gb format it to FAT32, if it is more than 32gb format it to exfat.
There is an SD formatter from the SD Association that you could try. It'll clean it right up, but you'll need patience while running it. The full format takes a while (like over an hour for larger cards).
You can download that formatter from here. It has worked for a few people I know.
EDIT: You could flash the newest MaximusHD ROM with old firmware if you like, but the fingerprint and home button won't work. Otherwise it'll run fine.

3 usually, 5 at most.
Yeah it's pretty nervous at first, then after a couple of times I just sit back and relax.

Your always welcome! i would say try a sd that is of a maximum capacity of 64gb just to be on the safe side.
a couple would be the Sandisk Extreme 64GB or the PNY U3 Turbo 64GB.
Hope this helps ya!
