HOX ( int version ) getting 3g or faster

hi guys
i did buy an htc one x quad core 32 gb version , it s my first unlocked smart phone ( sorry i was pretty late to buy one ) , i need to know , is there any way to get 3g or faster speed, on my new phone ? , there is like 20 questions smilar to mine , but there is not an actual answer...if there is one , i couldnt fint sorry , could u guys please help me to find best way to get 3g or faster ?

What carrier are you on? If it's AT&T, what plan are you on? If it's T-Mobile you're screwed because the One X doesn't support their AWS bands and you'll only get EDGE (2G) speeds.

i was using virgin mobile prepaid phone , so it s gonna be new careers , i ve heard and read some forum posts that i can use with straight talk sim card which is so cheap and it does makes sense to me.. how is that possible or can i use with straight talk sim card ? thanks for replying.

i bought the net10 simcard , even you dont need to wait to shipped it to you , just stop by a bestbuy/ bestbuy mobile , buy a net10 simcard , bestbuy gonna activate it for you , it s all good to gooo ,$50 bucks for unlimited everything dudes!! i got it , make it work and enjoyin my hox international 32 gb white love it so far..

LG-F180K and LTE in UK on 3 network

I'm planning to get a korean version of Lg Optimus G - LG-F180K
I have a question , is LTE going to work on 3 network with this phone? I know LTE its not here yet on 3 but it will be in several months time. There is info that 3 network will use 800mhz and 1800mhz.

DONT DO IT !! I HAVE F180L AND BEEN IN EE STORE THEY HAVE 1800MHZ FREQ. SO KORANS DOESNT SUPPORT THIS FREQ.
So I have 4g mobile which will never be 4G used in UK ... !
I was reading that 3 network will have 850mhz but F180 has 800 mhz

mine F180L supports only 800 ..
so u can go with EE ..
I asked 3 store yesterday the 4G will come next en of this year or next year so ill bet they will delay it to next year and we will have differen mobiles in that time.. so I am enjoying DC-HSDPA am not bothered of 4G..

It seems so, I have 3 Italy but LTE is too expensive and I use my phone only for email/chat and browsing... So I'not really intererested in LTE network. On th other hand I'm still on korean ICS so I have only the 3G icon.

Yeah it is expensive..
I red article on internet that 3 bringing Lte to UK with no price increase..
So we will se if it's true ..

[Q] Difference between GT-I9195 and GT-I9190?

what are the difference between these two model?

The I9195 has LTE, the I9190 does not.

The 9190 doesn't have NFC if I remember correctly.

do they have the same amount of memory? and does GT-I9195 have (hardware) FM radio?

You must have got that info from gsmarena. They don't always have the most accurate information so it's good that you clarified here

When the s4 mini gets custom roms will we be able to flash the Lte rom on the non Lte

That still won't give you LTE functionality. There is hardware on the LTE model that allows it to support LTE signals, that the non-LTE model does not have.

I brought this phone online from eBay, and I'd like to know if the network in Canada Bell or/and Virgin Mobile will work on it ?!?!?! I sent receive it yet or have the phones imei code ...

Which phone ? Checl your model and basbands for your phone and network to see if they corelate... I wouldn't buy unless I knew

I been looking for the perfect LG G3 Dual Sim model in terms of Specs..
and since i found more than one model.. D856 , D857, D858 and D859
can anyone help me figure out what is are the differences among them ?

I've just ordered the D856 which for me (being based in the UK) is the better option considering that includes the LTE 800 band. I know the D858 does not include this band but I'm not entirely sure about the other two variants.

I'm interested in getting a dual sim LG G3, also based in the UK. I'm currently on Vodafone so the D856 would be the ideal version. Can I ask where you ordered your D856 from?

D858HK would work fine on Vodafone as well as it has band 2600 which is LTE+ used by Vodafone UK

Hi.I got mine from a website called from.ae they are based in UAE and the phone was delivered in five days.
Tbh I still haven't worked out the difference between the d856 and d858
One thing I noticed is that on mine there's barely any LG app installed (I think 2) which is surprising coming from a Samsung s4...Not sure if this is standard on LG phones or it's just this version

Thanks but I live in Aberdeen, and work just outside the city. The 800mhz frequency already has poor coverage and so I don't even want to think about how little I will see 4G speeds if I am restricted to only the 2600mhz frequency. I'm not actually sure the 2600mhz frequency is in operation here anyway.

Hi guys, I bought a 858HK and it does not have the 800Mhz for 4G in UK
I also got slapped on import duty by £80
so the phone cost me £460
I am willing to sell if anyone wants it
Its a beautiful phone, very fast, the DUAL SIM is essential for work and personal and it comes with some LG apps that are much better than all my previous HTC phones

I've also had to pay £80 import duty but luckily the phone cost me a bit less
I was also hoping to get LTE 800 with my D856 (as advertized in the official LG spec sheet) but nothing...luckily LTE still works with my 3 UK SIM

Not sure if that's the case...
Got one 858HK yesterday, and so far it doesn't want to do 4G on my Vodafone UK SIM even though it does 2600MHz.
Spoken to Vodafone support and the lady who did not have much clue about the subject, could not confirm if vodafone uses both 800 and 2600, she was saying that in the UK it is only 800Mhz for LTE which is a bit odd and doesn't tie up with information provided here:

On the wikipedia it says "LTE Advance" any body has an idea what that is?
The other thing is that the phone could be faulty as well. Need to try the EE SIM somewhere as that should be on 1800 and 2600Mhz.......
Edit: Apparently Voda UK does 2.6GHz in big agglomerations such as London, Birmingham, Manchester.... (this is not officially confirmed)
