[Q] (incorrect) insufficient storage warning - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi all, I have a 3G model of our beloved S4 mini and have encountered something terrible. I tried to install 2 different applications, being a terraria trial and an xposed module called xdictionary. with both of these when I tried to install I got the insufficient storage error/warning.
Here are the things I can clarify, 1. I have plenty of space, the one app was 43mb and the other 10. I have over 3.5 gigs of space on my internal storage. 2. I installed clash of clans successfully, which is over 50mb.
Info: GT-9190 running snapshot CM11
if any more info is needed please ask. any help is appreciated

First you need to identify (Manage applications) what is eating up your memory

[Q] Internal storage shows no space after flashing a new rom

Hey all. Flashed ViperX4.0.1 Rom with CWM.
After installing with aroma and getting back my missing apps from Titanium backup I noticed I wasnt able to install any other apps from the market duo to a "Insufficient storage space". When cheking space specs out I see I have 6.5/6.6 GB used on m internal storage.
Apps are not the issue here. the "other" tab hold 6.8 GB.
Any Idea how to fix this? What should I delete/restore?
Thanks!

[Q] 3GB free internal storage but "only 300 MB" free pop-up when installing apps?

[Q] 3GB free internal storage but "only 300 MB" free pop-up when installing apps?
Hello everybody!
My girlfriend has a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (I9195), which is currently running the (seemingly) latest stock firmware, Android 4.2.2. I never rooted it or flashed it, otherwise I reckon I wouldn't be having this issue .
So, the problem is this... The internal storage has about 3 GB free (50% of the total 6 GB allocated to internal SD), yet when I try to install an app from the Play Store, once the installation is completed, I get a pop-up saying something like "Only 300 MB free on internal storage" (see attached screenshots).
Is there a portion of the internal storage dedicated specifically for apps, so they don't have access to the entire /storage/0 or something...?!?!
Does anyone know a solution to this? Thanks in advance.
Nobody is having this issue with their Galaxy S4 Mini?
No haven't seen this problem at all! Sorry.

[Q] Low memory? I don't think so...

Hello everyone!
I'm trying to install some games/apps on my phone but it says "low memory", the fact is that my phone has 800mb+ of free internal memory, and 7gb+ on SD.
Rooted phone, 4.3 JellyBean.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Low memory?
You means RAM?
Then close all applications & try
otherwise
You may had tried some large games like Asphalt.
(Apps which requires more than your available memory)
Please remember - SXM will not install apps to external memory card

Why am I getting "Insufficient storage space available" when I try to install an app?

Why am I getting "Insufficient storage space available" when I try to install an app?
I am running Cyanogenmod 1.10-InstallerXNPQ32P on a Samsung Galaxy S4 (T-Mobile), with that, the Android version is 4.4.4
My internal storage has 2.3GB used, and 7.3GB free. I have uninstalled other apps in order to attempt to install more, it worked eventually and I was able to install an app to transfer apps to my external SD card, but once they notified me that they were unable to do this due to my phone type, I uninstalled them and am attempting to install STORAGE PARTITIONS by LAKSHMAN in order to see how this space is so low, and once again i am unable to install anything due to insufficient space. I have looked everywhere, I have cleared every cache imaginable and uninstalled at least 4 apps in order to figure this out. There seems to be no way that I have insufficient space, and yet, I am told I do. I can't find where to solve this problem.

This is a problem I have been grappling with for weeks. I'm running a Nexus 10 tablet with 32GB internal storage, 17GB free. Rooted, with CM11 M11 installed. Some updates fail with the 'insufficient storage' error, others update normally. Size of the update does not seem to matter. Some large new installs will fail, others will work. Some new installs of 2 to 3MB will fail while a program of 25MB will install. Sometimes uninstalling the old version will enable me to install the new version. Sometimes not.
I've searched the web, as well as XDA, anhave tried so many different fixes, but have found no definitive answer.
