Hi,
I think there is an option to enable non intrusive phone call notification, but just don't remember where it is.
Anyone knows ?
Thanks !

Guys
I've searched about this issue and couldn't find a proper answer. My note 2's ringtone starts low and ascends. It seems it's a feature with all galaxy phones. Is there any way to disable it ? (preferably without rooting)
Yes there are ways to disable it (such as using Xposed framework). And yes these ways require root access. If there is a way to disable this without root, I'd like to be corrected, but AFAIK there isn't.
Search in the play store for ;
"Disable Increasing Ring" from Shumoapp

No root = no android system mods
This is a simple equation, if you want to override this ascending ring tone feature you should be a root user

It worked but the problem is it gives me an invisible icon on status bar all the time which there doesn't seem to be a way to disable it

I know ,i'm new to android and still learning
Just wanted to know if it's possible via root or not
That's very interesting. Didn't know that there is an app that doesn't require root access to achieve this.

Try this. Go to Settings > Application Manager > Scroll down until you find the app then click on it and Untick "Show Notifications". If that doesn't work then the app requires to be present in the notification bar in order not to be killed by the system.

Take a screenshot and you can long press your notification and select app info. It will take you to system ui

You have to long press the notification in your drawer not on the hover notification.
We have no hover settings.
What specific Paranoid Android settings do you think you need? All the options are logically located where it makes sense for them to be.

Well, the peek app has a nice way of being able to specify the blacklist. would be nice if that model was available somewhere in the PA ROM.
(still learning)

My issue (I think like the one above) wasn't that there were apps that couldn't be blacklisted, but rather just couldn't figure out how to add an app to the blacklist. I was also making the point that I had such n issue discovering how to blacklist an app when I used the peek app on my previous Un - paranoid rom.
sorry if I wasn't clear.
Hi all,
I've Paranoid Android 4.5 Beta 1 on my Xperia Sola. How I can't disable vibration on notification? It isn't in the audio settings .
Thanks
Its there on official builds. Don't know what you are using.

I'm using this. Maybe it's not included in this ROM?

Sorry, I misread your post. Vibration notifications are handled PER APP and not globally. There is no way to turn off vibration completely globally, it must be done per application notification settings.
Oh, understand...thank you for the info☺

Go to settings.
Click on app privacy.
Now select the app in which you don't want to vibrate on a notification.
There will be an option 'vibrate' which you can turn off.
Hope this helps!

In your settings, type in vibration in the search section and you'll see all your options :good:
