Voice Mate - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to remove/disable Voice Mate without being root?

If you can't from within the system settings, then no.

At&t visual voicemail!

I cant seem to get past the password screen I know its correct password and yes I even reset it! Anyone else get it working ?

Got mine working... I kept trying to use the password for my account... then I was trying to use my passcode... then I remembered my voicemail password from 5 years ago was completely different...
Had same problem. Worked for me when I disabled wifi and set up att visual voice mail using my cellular data connection. Try cleaning app data in app manager and open att visual app using only cellular connection. Should work then.

Also, if you use the stock AT&T Messages app it integrates visual voicemail but you loose the ability to save voicemails as .amr audio files.
Instead you have to go to https://messages.att.net/ to save your voicemails as audio files.
Using the website is like Google Voice so you can see all your voicemails including text and incoming/outgoing call logs.
Thanks for this post. I didn't even know visual voicemail was supported!
I wasnt talking about att messages app- just to be clear it is visual voicemail app in play store that att crap sucks

The only way that I know of to deactivate googke voice is through the website and not the app.

I don't see any options in AT&T Visual Voice that allows you to same messages as .amr files.
Ugh, it was there a month ago. Maybe they removed that feature?

That's the one I downloaded. It looks and operates just like AT&T Messages. You might want to avoid downloading the newer copy.

In my opinion s voice is a whole lot better than Google now. And if you're running a stock JB rom, then just hold down the search button and walla there is s voice
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
It took me to voice command, that's not it right? I froze it to use Google now for my search button long press. Do I maybe need to reflash the jb update or do a factory reset?

Never mind, please mark this post for deletion. I figured out how to install it I had to first delete voice command, then it installed perfectly fine. And I can open Google now and s voice both with the search button. Long press is s voice, double tap is Google now.
Although I can't get s voice to activate from lock screen or when phone is locked.

[Q] Airdroid-like app?

I'm looking for an app that I can make phone calls via wifi (or bluetooth) with a GUI. Airdroid does something like, but is (a) too much for what I'm looking for and (b) costs $. I'd be willing to pay, so long as it did what I was looking for.

As soon as you dial a number and the phone connects, you should be able to see an icon that looks like a spectrum eq on the top left.
You can touch it and it will give you an option to choose the HD voice you want.
But if you turn the speaker-phone on, it will turn that feature off.
The bottom icon on can also be touched and it will activate voice filter.

Google voice voicemail on 4.4.2?

I've used Google voice for a while only for the voice mail benefits like visual voice mail and it has stopped working im running myrom v3 4.4.2 I've tried deleting data Cache wiping delvik ABC still voicemail ends up in my T-Mobile voice mail not sure if it matters but holding one for speed dial goes to some other voicemail mailbox not tmobile?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Sounds like your voice mail settings are not set to redirect missed calls to Google voice . Go through the process to set up Google voice again.

Yup, try that! it might work, it might not!
Find the exact dial code needed to re direct your voice mail and dial it in your dialer.
