I don't know what I did but somehow I was able to go into the InsertCount Kontrol and just go over to various and enable Harman/Kardon Audio.
I was never able to do this before, but now music on my device will not work because it says I have Boomsound and Harman both enabled.
How do I disable Harman? It's grey'd out now and I can't turn off Boomsound or Harman. I have no idea what I did initially to enable it.
Thanks!
Is your device s-offed? If yes flash the zip with the adsp.img but I suggest you to flash the newer mod v4 which Is now overtaken by @scrosler ...if you don't s-offed your device, go into insertcoin market and download there the revert back to BoomSound zip or how its named and it will work again...
When I go into InsertCoin Market, I only see like 10 items, and it says i'm up to date.
Am I missing something, but there's barely anything on the marketplace.
Also I fixed my issue by downloading and flashing this:
HK_Disable_V3.zip
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2724093&d=1399153302
Yea that's the zip I meant to revert back ... So it's sorted now?
Yeah except for that other thing.
I don't see anything in the InsertCoin market. I see like 10 things only. Why is that?
In "homscreen" of the market click on menu button and let the market update normally there should be a new market update and you can see more things after its updated
It says I'm up to date but I only see like 10 things..
Is that all that is in the market?
Which version are you on? If latest you can also try to update with svn trunk...there were some updates to market so maybe after that you can see more things...how to setup the svn trunk is in the 3rd post or so in inserrtcoin thread
I'm on InsertCoin 3.0.6
Wgen I try to update it says failed. Do I have to manually flash it?
When you try what to update it days failed? Man now even 4.0.0 is out so on the newest base with 4.4.3 either download 3.8.0 full Rom if ota doesn't work or directly take 4.0.0 ...but you have to full wipe to prevent issues ... On IC market weren't so many things if I remember back...most things will be added by time as they need much testing etc
So should I just flash 4.0.0 over then?

If you were previously on 3.8 do a full wipe ! Switching between such bases needs full wipe !
I'm on InsertCoin 3.0.7 to be exact. And I have to do a full wipe to update software?

Yea because 4.0 uses most recent base and to prevent bad bugs and issues it's better to full wipe and start a clean flash
Ah I see.
Could I use titanium backup and just store all of my apps and preferences right?

Ah okay, thanks!
One other thing, after putting a custom ROM on my device, I noticed I don't have the "ufocus" or any of the HTC depth of field or cool 3D effects stuff with my camera.
Is there a way I can get it back?
And what is Zoe Camera and why did it come with InsertCoin?

just install damage next, just select wipe when it asks you in rom manager
You just flash the new rom. If you ever switch 'base build #'s', like android base 2.1 to 2.2 for example, then you should clear you cache and all data before flashing.
It would be a good idea to check make a backup in rom manager just in case something goes strange during the new flash.

yes, it basically starts fresh. Wipes the data, cache, etc.
By the way, only reason im leaving bugless is Sprint Nav, TV and Voicemail are gone....these aren't available to install individually?
Well, and also leaving it bcus it wasn't quite bugless, was giving erros when changing settings on the phone, and while using some of the phones features.

Gee, maybe if you would of took my advice to begin with over at AF, and just started flashing them all and try them out. They all have pros and cons, it's all about what works best for you
Just an FYI, try out damage control, it's got everything you want. If there is anything you don't want just delete it. Same with fresh.

I used that step by step tutorial posted on AF.
Only think im wondering about is when i originaly installed bugless it was via ROM Manager, and when it asks you do you want to backup current ROM and wipe, I said yes to both, wasnt sure what ROM it was backing up as the only thing so far I had done to my phone was going through the full root process.
this time around when I installed DC I didnt select the option in ROM Manager to backup current ROM, still not sure it that questions pertains to the current installed rom, or the one being installed.....but in any case my internal phone storage says 313, and SD out of 7.41 5.85 is avail.
I used Astro to see if I identified anything from previous rom, but then again I wouldnt even know what to look for....hopefully I don't have any useless files lingering around taking up space.

The one that you are backing up is the one that you are currently using. It is always a good idea to backup the current Rom. I always do right after I flash and verify everything is golden, and also after I get everything set up.
I find it easier just gong through recovery, than using the rom manager.

Yeah rom manager took about an hour, not sure why....i was afraid to stop it mid stream and do it manually.
In anycase Damage Control is perfect, I also added Launcher Pro, that way I can switch to sense once in a while, or the launcher that was on the rom, or launcher pro, this way I can switch it up once in a while to not get bored...other than that this rom is perfect, bugless had too many issues, and was too blah.

Hi, I'm running cm7.0 stable and I used titanium backup to restore my apps+data when I flashed this rom. I am continuing to get force closes quite often. I did uninstall and reinstall launcher pro once to see if that would help and it didn't help. I was running WidgetLocker homescreen and disabled that for a bit and it didn't happen as often. Is there anything I can do to correct this? I had read somewhere when installing a fresh rom to not restore data or possibly even apps? If I flash cm7 again over my current one will all apps and settings stay untouched?
I also just read about cm7.0.2.1, should I download this? I do eventually want to step forward as stable releases come out. Will I have to wipe anything again and if I were to download and install the rom through rom manager would all my apps and settings stay untouched?
I noticed Rom Manager also has an updates feature for premium users, is this the nightly updates and not the stable versions? Or is it the same as the stable versions but just updates it rather than flashing the entire rom? Thanks in advance for any help received here!
I was having this same problem earlier today. When restoring with Titanium Backup, you can't use the batch feature to restore any apps...you're going to have to go to the Backup/Restore tab and restore each app you want individually. For some reason the release can't handle the data (which I suppose makes sense because of all the irrelevant system files). (So don't worry about LauncherPro or WidgetLocker, they're not causing the problem.)
To fix it, you're going to need to reflash the ROM (or recover a backup if you made one before you recovered your apps through TB), and then when you want your apps, what you'll end up doing is going into TB, hitting the Backup/Restore tab, and go through the list of apps >> find one you want to restore and click/touch it >> hit "Restore" >> hit "App only".
Also, I would download 7.0.2.1 -- it's the latest release, and as far as I know, it is extremely stable. If you're unsure about certain releases, ROM Manager does have a comment/rating section with each release, and you can get a good idea as to how stable it is there.
I'm not too sure about the ROM Manager/updating question, though, and would be interested in hearing the answer, as well.
Let us know if you have any more questions!
Each rom is different so if your trying to restore system apps from one rom to another it usually will not work especially if your going from say a sense rom to gingerbread. Uninstall the apps that fc and try just restoring the app minus data.. good luck
As long as your using a rom manager supported rom it knows what rom your using and will give you updates for your rom 7.0.2.1 just fixes camera and is stated stable nand first and if you update w/o wipe and it messes with anything just restore and wipe before update
I have a feeling that its more of a permissions issue. Running Titanium backup and restoring your apps is not a problem at all. run the batch then select restore all apps with data. Once the list of apps comes up make sure the radio button that says "App only" is the one that is selected. If you restore the data that could cause issues.
I forgot to mention I did fix permissions with Root Tools. Anyone know about ROM manager and how it updates. If I go to 7.0.2.1 and there is a 7.3 does it install over the last one? And the update feature for Premium Users only to get access to the nightlys?

Yes it does install over the other one and you can keep all of your existing data without having to restore it. I'd suggest not using ROM manager, but I do believe the nightlies are for premium users in ROM manager.
Thanks for the help guys. I am going to install cm7.0.2.1 very soon and restore only apps without the data. It's a pain because I have so many! But I'll do it right this time. One last question, the google apps zip (gapps-gb-20110307-signed.zip) I used to install after cm7.0 stable, can I use the same one for the new version? Or did something change?

Thanks everyone for the help! I wiped my phone and successfully installed the new version of cm7 yesterday. I manually installed all of my apps again and got it setup and configured once again without any issues or force closes. My phone is running very smooth now!
I get the same thing sometimes on my phone. Launcher pro is force closing because its waiting on the sd card to finish mounting. In gingerbread it takes a hell of a long time for the sd card to mount, just let your phone sit for a min or two and you shouldn't have any problems. Also if you hit wait instead of force close it'll start working right after. No need to reflash the rom or anything else.

firstly did you backup your previous rom once you rooted? if not for future reference make sure you do backups my friend. go into settings-battery and untick fastboot. then come out and reboot and see if that works.
other option you can try is clear the cache and data of the apps that cause you problem. settings-apps click on the app that you want to clear cache and data and then force close and reboot.
not sure about flashing official stock roms on the HTC. i just made sure i had my stock rom that came with the phone all backed up. but check into the development section and there are guides that would help you with that if that is the last cause of action mate

After you update, what happens after you run an Integrate Updates of System Apps into ROM in TiBackup?*

I didn't ask you to run a normal backup. Under Move/Integrate, run the Integrate batch. If it "doesn't stick" the first thing that comes to mind is that TiB doesn't have root....else something is hinky with your ROM install.

Hello all,
This is a straight up compile of Cyanogemod's source. Only thing added was CM Accounts. I have been contemplating whether or not to start this thread simply because I really don't have time to maintain a thread with work, school, and family but since I have not seen a working build posted yet (actually chenxialong has working builds for all jf devices), I decided to give mine. From what I have seen (I have been using as daily driver) CM 10.2 is pretty stable for our devices already.
I compile at least once a day, and usually twice so these builds will be my latest. If there are no significant changes upstream, I will not post a new build. I am really not a coder, although I have a little experience, so please don't ask me to fix things because I most likely won't know how to. Like I said, I am compiling directly from source.
My build names are time stamped as to when they were compiled, right down to the minute (PDT). The Gapps I post are the ones I used. I am not sure which thread I acquired them from, so I am truly sorry to the original poster. I tried many and most were bloated with uneeded apps so I chose this one. If they are yours, please let me know so I can give credit.
This thread will pretty much become obsolete once nightlies for 10.2 are available.
ROM is hosted on Google drive. Any mirrors are welcome.
Full wipe is needed if coming from any other non CM 10.2 ROM. If root is needed, go to Settings-->About Phone-->Tap Build Number seven times. Developer options are now available in settings. Under Developer Options-->Root Access select Apps and ADB.
There have been reports of issues with PhilZ recovery and CM builds. If you are using Philz and have issues, try a different recovery.

I'm sorry for your tribulations, yeah I said tribulations, but I don't really know what the problem might be. I do know that, in 4.3 there is a change that is being implemented as far as how the system handles root and apps that require it. I backed up my apps using the save to a flashable zip option in Titanium. I would imagine that is is still an option even though you are already booted into CM. You can try that. I am also considering using Helium for backups since it will not require root in the fashion Titanium does.
