It works. I did that and other people too (as you can check).
If you pull the battery out when you boot the phone (once again) you'll be in the same menu than right now.

EDIT - No sollution found!!
Please examine this thread if you have similar problems, but please don't ask how we got it fixed. The phone was just done for, dead, bricked, whatever you want to call it.
Good luck with yours!

Hey people,
A friend of mine is getting a white screen on his Galaxy Y, can't do anything with it. Even a hard reset (as found on the internet) doesn't work. (Hard reset being holding volume up, center button and power button).
Does anyone have experience with this problem?

Thats NOT a hard reset! Pull the battery, and insert it again. Now do your "hard reset". As in, holding volume up+home+power key together until you see the Samsung logo. Do a data wipe and restart. If that doesnt work, search for flashable firmware packages in the Development section. If that doesn't work either, replace your phone.
Hey guys,
Thank you both for your replies.

Stating what happened: He just suddenly had a white screen, unable to do anything with the phone. Rebooting, pulling the battery etc. didn't do anything.
Your second option didn't work either unfortunatly.

Sorry about that, I just read in about this phone, since it's not mine, and I already forgot about the second part.
Unfortunately, neither of this works. Every boot method gets him a white screen. Since he rooted his phone about a week ago, looks like he's going to need a new one.

try flashing the ROM using Odin from the PC
Might Odin be the same as Samsung Kies in dutch? Or is this an external program?
Assuming it's this program: http://odin-win.sourceforge.net/
Now how does this work? I've been flashing my phone for quite a while now, but I'm not familiar with this program. Can I just download a ROM (stock) from the developers part here?

its a tool for windows which lets you flash firmwares. You need to connect your phone to your pc is download mode.
Search Google and you will get lots of tutorials explaining the process.

Okay thanks for all your help guys.
My friend tried everything you people suggested, but nothing worked. He just had an expert look at it and it's just totally bricked. Gotta buy a new one. Thanks for trying anyway!
Sorry for bringing this up again, but I kinda feel sorry when people brick their devices. Yours doesnt have to be a brick. Read this. The instructions are on the first page. There's a link to Odin too. Hope for the best!

Hi all!
Today I got my M8. I rooted it installed viper on it and S-OFF ed it.
It worked great but now when I rebooted it it hangs on HTC logo and red text this build is for dev purposes only.
I press power button (no matter for how long) but nothing happens.
Any idea?
Boot into your recovery and either wipe caches etc or sideload/flash a new ROM? - Or even Factory reset it via recovery. -- don't have an M8 myself but that's the option I'd look at for now.
Try pressing and holding power + volume up and it should reboot. If it does not do the same again and reboot into recovery and try re-flashing the rom and see if it resolves the issue for you.

He was sarcastically pointing out that you cannot remove the battery on an HTC One. You should probably know this if you're going to offer advice to someone needing help with their device.

Hello,
I have F400L and I can't enter in factory reset mod (or custom recovery) with Volume down + power , release power etc etc same as D855 and other.
Thanks for your help !
MANIPULATION :
1.Turn off your LG F400.
2.Press power and volume down keys at the same time.
3.Wait for the LG logo to appear and release the buttons.
4.Then, immediately press volume down and volume up buttons (simultaneously).
5.Release the keys once the hard reset menu is being displayed on your LG G3.
OMG it worked!

ahahhahahahaha yea I also got the same problem, I'm so thankful
I tried it again today, and I can't acces it :crying: I don't understand why, I tried about 6 times, I'll go on and do again. Could you acces it for the second time? Because the first time I could but not I can't
I've a big problem... my phone won't turn on, won't charge (and no led) but is not totally dead.
The problem has happening after install TWRP with Autorec on V30B firmware, i reboot my phone and nothing... My phone won't reboot, just turn off.
Since, there is no vibration when i press start button, no DL mode when i connect to the PC (and hold volume up) but, sometimes i can see boot logo during 3 second and nothing anymore, just a black screen. When i remove the battery and i plug it, the phone shows me a logo which indicates the battery is removed.
I plug my phone during 10 minutes, but always nothing...
If someone can help me, i would be so gratefull
Used twrp for marshmallow or lollipop and your phone version is what?
Give this a try: http://open-freax.fr/guide-unbrick-your-lg-g3/
If that does not help I guess there is nothing you can do.
did you check that you have TWRP? Try to enter recovery since you can see the logo and you certainly flashed recovery. Main thing is that you flashed wrong boot and can not boot system.
Check this post from autoprime.

Hey guys,
im having G4 for a few days now, and i was trying some ROMs to know which one would fit best to me. Then i tried DU, but i was stupid enough not to enable USB debugging. I tried to flash the ROM (with no success of course, i was stuck on flashing about half hour). So i took my battery out, tried to "adb boot recovery twrp...." but i found that adb shell dont recognize my phone at all!
Please, anyone, what to do?
Thanks a lot in advance.
