You also have to install superSU from playstore. I think because towel root does not install superSU itself thats why u think its not working on your phone.

I unrooted the phone but i think the bootloader is still locked, could this be the reason?
The error just says problem with installation:S
Edit: but I unrooted through SuperSu...that shouldn't matter though?
You have to relock the bootloader.

That's the easiest way or you have to dd or fastboot those partitions back to lock the bootloader.

I had to KDZ flash in order to get the update. My bootloader was locked and I unrooted. You can get the appropriate files on the forum to flash back to stock or the new JB update

Anyone has experience on this app??????/:laugh:
Easiest way for unroot is with SuperSU from chainfire.
Just install the app,go to settings and choose unroot.your device will reboot and will be clean.

Just interested in anyway to root my f240s which has been stock updated to 4.4.2 kitkat, the usual autoroot method does not work with the new update, any way to root manually with adb. hope someone can help. Thanks for reading.
You may have to wait a while on that one my friend. Kit Kat is coming to the optimus g pro series phones slowly so you're gonna have to give it time. I'm sure once the update is out in the masses our devs can start working on rooting methods.

Stump root (like cliff said) or towelroot.
Towelroot may not work on all models though. It did work on my D850 with firmware 10D.

Well, this is untethered root, so it doesn't have a root app, so I recommend installing supersu from the play store, and supersu has an option to unroot, but there is always the option to just flash back to stock using a tot file or kdz file and LG flash tool

Yes, it should do both of those things, I had to refresh to stock, and when I did, I had to resume as the recovery was overwriten
Is there any root method for this version, D85130e
No.. You have to roll back to 30d!
Then temp root it wd Kingroot... Flash Twrp with flashify.... And update superSu to get permanent root!

Not too long, if it is more that 10-15 mins, check your md5s.
Btw, 30e zips where filled in the same place, you can keep root if you root 30D, install twrp, then install new zips.
