Engineering Mode - T-Mobile LG G3

Answered my own question. Engineering mode on the T-Mobile G3 is accessed with:
3845#*851#
If you want to see LTE information. Go into WCDMA-Only, then Modem Settings, Engineering Mode and then tap the Previous button to get LTE information.

4.4.2 get MSL??

so after i updated i cant get my MSL with the dialer code. anyone know a way to get it now?? im having connection issues and i want to change my network order.
thanks for any help
Simple. Call sprint and ask for it. Just say you want to change your EVRC settings. If that rep wont tell you then hang up and call back. The next rep will. Then write it down cause it never changes.
sprint is being thier usual selves with this again, I called back numerous times and there is a "policy" with "criteria" now that must be met..if you call and have no luck, there is an apk here that I used to get it on my S4 and it worked like a champ.. couple links

or you can search on "spcutility.apk" there are few more threads around with it linked too
Try this..
This dialer code ##443336772# will flash a toast notification on the bottom of the screen with your SPC/MSL code.
The dialer code didn't work for me either. The way I got it was by following this guide:

Hope this helps

The dialer code will not work on 4.4.2. Nor will the spcutility.apk. One way to get the spc is by downgrading to zv8/zva ( you need to have diag mode enabled though) and using the above dialer code.
Oh, I'm on 4.2.2. Guess they're locking things down tighter than Fort Knox in 4.4.2
Thanks for the heads up.
New Method
I just found a new method of getting my MSL/SPC. I'm on a Sprint G2 and on the latest 4.4.2 update.
This method requires CDMA Workshop.
1. Put phone in download mode (vol up and power button)
2. Use CDMA Workshop's security tab to write SPC to 000000 using LG method.
3. Reboot. ##3424# does not even ask for SPC now.
4. Use CDMA Workshop's security tab to Read SPC using LG method.
5. Use CDMA Workshop's security tab to write SPC to 000000 using LG method.
Hope this helps!

Would you mind explaining it a bit more, I am having data issues so bad... I really need to fix it.
I am NOT on sprint.

That only works if you can get Diag enabled which requires MSL/SPC so, not really helpful unless you already have what you are looking for
Custom Launchers
Not really. Using nova launcher you can directly go to the enable/disable diag mode screen. Hope this help. Just figured it out yesterday. Doesn't work some times though. Tried again and finally did

[Q] Unlocked Bootloader Possibility

As the N910P bootloader is not locked, is it possible to flash international LTE Qualcomm stock firmware, i.e. N910F, successfully?
Has anyone tried?
EDIT
Well I tried.
Stock N910F ...BOB4 did not flash via odin.
Echoerom 5.0.X flashed successfully. Flashing Modem + Bootloader of ...BOB4 via Odin after ROM fails.
Modem is the culprit to my pain. Is there anyway to trick the phone into thinking a different MODEM+BL is of Sprint origin?
REASON: I am wanting to use N910P internationally. It does not work as originally hoped via sim-unlock.
Unlocked International N910P
Great News for N910P owners. Unlocked bootloader = custom kernel = profit
Different band frequencies can be used internationally following the instructions in the OPs by .fffft[/MENTION] Mucho thanks to him.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059
FYI Steps:
1. Carrier Sim Unock / SSU apk
2. Select GSM/UMTS & go into service mode via ##0011# . Wait for GSM service. Menu Back Key. Menu Input "Q". Menu input "0000". Wait 5 seconds.. Find Menu item to change Network Preference to "Global". Leave it on this, do not change back to LTE or CDMA.
3. Input your APNs.
4. Root.
5. Appstore for SPCUtility or MSLReader. or ask Sprint for it if you are in good standing, tell you are going abroad.
6. Diag mode via ##DIAG#. Input MSL. Select CDMA Modem then Qualcomm. Select last option. CP + DM + Modem
7. Edit the NV items following the instructions of the above thread. Read, edit, write. I used QXDM program on Windows. If you are editing via CDMA Workshop or Tool I think you will need to select PDA in ##DIAG# also you will need both your MSL and 16 digit PW– 2012112120131219.
8. New Band Frequencies will only work on Custom KERNEL & ROM. DL and Flash for trltespr . Profit .
Flashed CM12 nightly w GAPPS
Praise the lord LTE bands work here in Canada.
They may work domestic if they are different frequencies/bands than CDMA networks. worth trying, but Im not in the US for awhile.
Cant wait for custom TW 5.0 ROMS to roll out with the hard work of the awesome developers here who keep me buying android!
Notes:
I don't have access to Service Mode anymore via dialer so I don't know how to go back to choosing preferred networks, i.e. Global, in CM. It reads "Global" on Settings>Mobile Networks . I fear switching to "LTE only"for having to do the whole process again via flash stock to access all the required menu again.
Edit : Lost LTE , only HSPA+ available

Hidden service codes menu for 6.0 marshmallow

does anyone know where to find the hidden codes, they don't seem to work on 6.0 marshmallow.
on 5.1 i was able to enter 277634#*# in dialer and go to field test > modem settings > lte band selection to manually select the LTE band i need (phone isn't connecting sometimes, only H+), but now these codes don't work.
have googled a bit, but can't find anything - don't even know if i'm googling the correct terms. is it just called hidden service menu/hidden service codes, or is there a proper term for them?
some codes do work, like imei, but not some of the more technical.
can anyone shed any light on this, i really need to get back to that menu 277634#*# to switch to LTE band 3
haven't tried it yet (downgraded to LL from MM), but apparently *#546368#*815# works in MM. if you have a 818 try that in place of the 815 part

Also 5457#*500 works on my Korean variant with Marshmallow. 500 is my model number so you'll have to try your own in place

Verizon Lg Vista VS880 flash CDMA to GSM possible?

All the firmware rom's come with CDMA mode activated and once flashed it's impossible to switch to GSM mode, only if you are under the Verizon coverage with a verizon sim card. The apk patch that reveal secret menu founded on other pages don't work a app crash appear.
Im wonder if exista a firmware that came with GSM mode as primary network mode. Second in Lg Flash Tool i dont see GSM in "Select Type" only CDMA and CDMA Smarthpone(WM).
Wwhat is the best way to get the GSM mode for LG VS880 rooted without using apk.?

I don't have this device but, with a limited amount of threads for the LG G Vista, your best bet is to post this question within the following one that seems to be the closest one for some member guidance.

Work well with Korean model.
I notice that there is an option for VoWiFi in the SVC Menu. Do we need to enable it to use with the cellular network that supports it?

I'm wondering the same thing. I am on T-Mobile which supports Wi-Fi calling but even when I turn this on in the SVC menu, I'm not sure how I can know if Wi-Fi calling works.
Add it 5457#*500#
The only code is usable for my Sprint unlocked V50 is the first one of the OP,but in the options it gives me,i dont have the SVC menu option like i have in other LG models.
I want to see the condition of my battery and its charging cycles.
Any idea or another code?
I tried also the other codes given in the OP.
Sprint V50, use at your own risk, some settings changes requires unlock code, get it from Sprint.

On the V50S (V510N) U+ Korean model I get the hidden menu with *#546368#*510#
While I get the Service menu with 5457#*510#
These are the menu items on V510N
In my LM-V450PM Sprint model the hidden menu is this as shown in my screenshot below.
This is the V510N Service menu
