Hi all,
This is my bad as I took risks in rooting my Xperia T2 Ultra because I want to use Titanium Backup after migrating from my Xperia Z Ultra.
I used this guide to root my T2 Ultra:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2569904
After rooting using Towel Root V10, I did all the restoring process using TB and then after I turned off my phone, it entered into boot loop.
I did not backup TA Partition or flash kernel before rooting since I was hasty and did not see the use for those. I also do not know whether my bootloader has been unlocked. My T2 Ultra is Dual Sim and on 4.4.2.
I tried entering into recovery but could not enter into it since I did not see the notification LED that indicates when to press the down button. I will try again, but now since I could not go into recovery I was forced to let it die down doing endless boot loop
Can anyone help me solve this problem?
dont wary cure is there
just go to development section and download appropriate FTF
open flash tool and flash it
dont need to mark cach data and app log option under wipe
by not mark you will not loss any app or private data
to turn off the phone do following
1.Detach the micro SIM card slot cover
2.Use the tip of a pencil or a similar object to press and hold the "OFF" button. NOTE: do not use a sharp, hard object that would damage the button
3.Keep pressing the button until the smartphone shuts down
report back if you face any issues

Currently I am charging till I see green light. So far I have been charging there are only blinking red light and steady red light occasionally.
Should my phone recover, and my data all gone, what should I do before I root (using the correct root tool this time) e.g. installing CWM recovery or backing up TA paritition? Is it needed?
When the led turns green flash with flashtool or repair with SUS..and of course your data will be lost...just root with the correct method...depend on your firmware version...
If you're using kitkat, its not possible to install cwm yet...and backup TA if you want to unlock your bootloader

I am new at all this stuff but i think I'm starting to somehow get a hang of it. I rooted my phone this week running .587 by downgrading the kernel etc, you know. Today I wanted to try another rom so I followed this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1955248 To install Xperia Ultimate HD on my phone with a locked bootloader.
However during step 8 CWM shut down and started to boot. But it doesn't start and I'm unable to get back into CWM My computer won't recognise the phone so I can't flash the kernel or do a complete reset using SUS. What do I do? is it save:able?
Been doing flashtool ftf recoveries whenever this occured. Do not power on arc s with it stuck. let flashtool self boot to flash mode and you will be back in buisness again.

if you could tell me what to do a bit more precise I'd really love you! like a small guide
I assumed you have flashtool since you mention about kernel downgrade. if no get it installed
the step actually same as flashing the kernel with phone power off.

ok first since ur stuck flash back to stock using flash tools n then follow the procedure.. i had a similar problem n i fixed it.. it was a very simple prob.. for installing these custom roms u ve to format system/ , so if ur using the cwm app by pvyparts ul loose the cwm after wiping it.. all u ve to do is after flashing the custom rom ul ve to install CWM back (use cwm version 5 available in the thread by pvyparts.. not the latest one..)
here's the thread for CWM
n post back if it works..
Thanks guys, really appreciate it, will try these methods out.
Still won't work
I tried doing all the different things you said but the phone won't boot holding in the back button and inserting the datacable. The light on the side turns green but nothing else happens.

Yeah, that I know and that's what I'm doing. When I hold down the back key and connect to the pc all that happens is that the green led lights up. Flashtool won't recognise it and it still says that I should hold down the back key and then connect to the PC...

I was also stuck at Sony logo and it reboots every time just after sony logo. Then i used flashtool, flashed using "LT15i_4.1.B.0.587_Kernel.ftf".....
Now it boot further, but only to XPERIA logo, and then reboots....but certain times i have seen it getting past the logo, like it shows a display asking for pc companion, even the taskbar too with time and blutooth icon on it....but all of a sudden it reboots. i have tried rebooting more than a 100 times, while taking out battery everytime.
Also, I'm not able to get into recovery mode. I tried this using the combination of power on, and when sony logo appears, pressing and releasing volume down repeatedly. I hope i'm doing right.
So what should I do?? am not able to use this phone for a week...
Please help me out.
Ok got it working. I just unlocked the boot loader from sony bootloader site(sorry couldn't post the link, because of low post count)
So, it booted up but show error as soon as put a sim, that "Unfortunately keypad has stopped working".
I figured out the culprit, it is the build version with i flash it. I reflashed it with LT15i_4.1.B.0.431_kernel.ftf, now it working fine like a charm.
So much relief...!!
Hope this may help someone too...so i shared!!!
Hi, I didn't saw Neo V thread so I am asking for help here.

Also tried instal rom via FlashTool but if I DON'T sellect "no Final veryfication" its error on 99%.
Tried SEUS as well, same results - don't want turn on and blink green light when hold power button.
I was using Testpoint for rooting and after root it was working.

After unlocking the bootloader, FOTA updates must be avoided at all costs. Follow this guide to easily brick it - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1553601
No test point required. Just download mode (green led).
Just a very gentle suggestion, please search a bit more next time.

1. Yes you can "turn off" update notifications. First root your phone, the download Root Browser by Jrummy from Playstore. Go to /system/app and delete updatecenter.apk. Then reboot and enjoy!
2. As you have unlocked bootloader, just flash a custom kernel like this one - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097412
Then download and copy this zip to your sd card - http://downloads.noshufou.netdna-cdn.com/superuser/Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
Reboot into CWM and select install zip from sd card and chose the above downloaded zip file. Once installation is complete, reboot and enjoy!

2.don't turn it on
3.On ur pc, open flashtool n tap on flash button
4.when it asks for phone, plug your phone with pressing volume down button
5.wait for flashtool to recognize ur phone
6.then flashing will be done
Hope this will work in your case..as i had same problem before

hi guys, need some help here. I'll try to keep this short and precise to describe how i ended up in the problem
i did not have (and do not have) any custom recovery installed before this day, never needed to go in recovery mode.
1. Root using TowelRoot app (no problem so far)
2. Installed SuperSu app (no problem so far)
3. Unlocked bootloader using Fastboot and followed official sony guides
---after unlocking the bootloader, phone went in bootloop. It can go in Fastboot mode. It can go in FlashTool Mode, but when I tried flashing FTF file, it ended up in boot again. instead of Sony logo + colourful animation. now it's stuck at sony logo only.
I tried using Sony PCC, to repair it but it says there's any error, can't proceed - it's a dead end.
Do you think it's cause I actioned in incorrect order i.e. should have unlocked bootloader first before rooting?
Thanks for all the help/advices/direct links.

I found a thread, cant find again, but it's there somewhere on XDA threads. You can use flashtool if you disconnect your phone battery after loading flashtool with a 'Xperifirm' download ( whichever model Xperia needed to restore) and then put phone into 'Flashmode' when plug in USB cable at the same time (battery must be disconected, so need to take backplate off!). Then when this is done 'Flashtool' will flash System file onto phone and thus restores phone back to factory. I've bricked my phone to try and works great. Try at own risk, if nothing else works. You will need to replace glue inside backplate once done. Meant to work with all Xperia Models, but I have only worked this fix with Sony Xperia XA1 (G3125):good:

XZ1 Compact dead?
Hi!
Please help me!
My phone not XA1, but Xperia phone.
I installed custom ROM(no SeLinux support) and tested two partitioning programs.
ROEHSOFT PARTITION TOOL
and
ROEHSOFT DRIVE-EXPERT
I did a partition recovery and reboot the phone.
Since then, it doesn't turn on, doesn't charge, no led feedback, can't see the pc, and no fastboot mode, completely dead.
I disassembled, disconnected the battery, but nothing happened.
Died?
What can you do with it even if your PC can't see it?
The two partition programs, in stock rom, did not start, but this rom (selinux is inactive) was ran.
What happened to him being completely dead?
