Nexus 7 LTE "Deb"
I had setup multirom recovery with CM 11 on one slot and MIUI on the other everything was fine. Last night I downloaded the latest CM 11 nightly installed it on the primary boot slot, factory data reset and when I went to reboot my tablet I only got as far as the Google logo. I attempted to boot into recovery...I get the blue screen that says Teamwin and it just boot loops just like the tablet trying to boot into android. I'm not sure how to fix this!! Please someone help. thanks so much in advanced! I can boot into the bootloader/fastboot. Another possible hitch is that I'm running Ubuntu on my laptop. Is the only option to completely reflash a factory image and if so how? Or can it be repaired.

So I have a GSM Galaxy Nexus that I purchased last December, the phone is currently unlocked and has a custom recovery and custom ROM. This morning after I was downloading some applications after a fresh install of CM 10, it suddenly turned off and rebooted. I thought it was okay at first until it couldn't make it pass the middle the boot animation and started to reboot again. I then went into clockwork recovery and factory reset and installed my restore file, didn't work. I tried to install another ROM, same problem, it didn't work again. I'm at a lost, I don't know what to do and what is wrong with my device.

as long as you can get in to download mode or fastboot you can either use odin to flash back to stock or push the factory image via fastboot. i have a cdma gnex and i can find my odin images in that forum so you should be able to find the same in the gsm forum, or the stock images directly from google.
Hey, I have an issue with my tablet after I wanted to go back to kitkat from the L Preview.
I had 4.4.4 and decided I'd like to try out the L preview
So I downloaded the img from Google and flashed it via fastboot, worked perfectly fine but not as stable in apps as it was on kk.
So, I downloaded the latest factory image from the Google Developer Site, extracted it and ran the flash_all.bat
Seemed to flash ok, no errors, rebooted and started to boot but it only goes as far as the spinning boot logo. No further.
After leaving it a good hour or so I decided it clearly wasn't going to boot I went back into the bootloader and tried to get into stock recovery mode but after rebooting it just stays at the white Google logo..
So, I tried to flash TWRP via fastboot. Again no errors, successful flashed but just like before it sticks at the Google logo and never boots the recovery..
I even tried the "fastboot boot recovery.img" but then it just freezes on the bootloader.
I've also tried the 4.4.3 img.. same happens.
Now if I reflash the L Preview img via fastboot it sticks at the Google logo and didn't even reach the boot logo!
Sounds to me like the partitions have gotten corrupt? Though the imgs are flashing successfully without error so I don't think it's that..
But.. recovery partition is broken as I can't get into recovery at all, and it freezes if I try.
Anyone any idea what could have happened?
All I did was flash the KK factory image over L, just like I flashed L over KK and it worked fine.
All the guides online do the same thing to downgrade L to KK.
Is it bricked? Can it be recovered?
I still have bootloader access with fastboot..
Any help is greatly appreciated!
I finally managed to enter the stock recovery and it appears that the /cache partition was damaged or corrupt. Strangely it would get corrupted each time I flashed the factory image, even flashing the cache.img directly..
However it seems to have fixed by doing a factory reset and /cache then formats correctly and android booted fine after this :victory::laugh:
As you see in the image, when entering recovery I was presented with a bunch of errors regarding the cache.
Tried to wipe cache but that fails.
Did a factory reset and cache seemed to format fine.
Did another wipe cache and this time it completes without the error I got before.
Then rebooted, Android began booting and thankfully it's now working fine again!
I was trying to install SuperSU and after it installed in TWRP it started a boot loop. Then I tried to fix this and turned the phone off and flashed an old version of cyanogenmod 13 (03/13). Now it is still stuck in a boot loop. Please help!
Edit: I can get into recovery/fastboot mode.
If you van get into recovery, you should flash system data and cache then flash an old cm with gapps and wait until the boot OR the reboot (5min sometimes).
If it don't boot after that, maybe clean flash through fastboot..?
Hello, I flashed CM14 Nougat 7.1.1 and everything worked fine until I tried to boot into recovery to get access to TWRP. If I try and boot into recovery I get the 1+ logo and then just a black screen and i have to hard reboot the phone to use it again. After the hard reboot it just goes back to nougat. I downloaded the TWRP APK to try and restore my previous save but it just does the same thing.
Can anyone help?
Thank you.
I get the same problem. This is WHY we should BACKUP it first. but I didd't, and so are you. I was having lots of works and did not check much news about CM for a long time. but yes, I get the rumors about CM getting shut down. and I check the news. Today I found out CM is shutting down, and my phone is not working.
But, hey, who am I. OnePlus 3 User with lots of experience.
So I tried CM recovery, the newest version works, but there is no backup option, I tried old CM13 recovery. it also black screen. This confirm my theory, this is due to Android 7.1 or CM14.1 upgrade
How to solve this problem?
I found this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/rom-hydrogenos-h2os-beta-edition-oct-t3482259
go to this thread, and download modified TWRP.
BACKUP.
Install your new ROM via any XDA rom. not the CM14.1 build on Dec 25.
Note: If you want Android 7.xx, you could flash the Official Beta ROM(above), or download modem from
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/radio-modem-collection-flashable-zips-t3468628
Happy New Year.

Hello.
After following this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/development/root-cf-autoroot-twrp-t800-t3079488
I downloaded the AutoRoot with TWRP for SM-T805.
I flashed it using Odin 3.14. The process ended well, however, the tablet won't boot anymore (It shows the splash logo then after about 5 minutes, the Samsung logo shows up and it stays there).
I tried to do a Factory reset on TWRP with no avail.
Altough TWRP works when booting in Recovery mode, I do not know how to boot back into android through it.
(FYI Download mode works)
How do I solve this? How can I revert this?
Thank you all in advance.
Luckily, I've solved this.
I've flashed a different img file, that removed TWRP but rooted my device anyway.
The tablet is now functioning again.
