I had something like that happened to my stock lg optimus g pro as well it just randomly lost service and wont come back...
YEAH...sometimes when the single poor,ogp will lost signal...

no ive been working on it all week and still nothing ive flashed it back to stock ALL the stock .tot's ive tried with qpst and that just keeps failing its a fiasco if anyone has any suggestions ill be happy to try them however ive accepted this phone is gone so if theres a risk im not worried..

Have you checked your apn settings?

Yeah, its not just data its any network connection. I get no signal at all
Did you backup your efs?

Not too long ago I had this issue. This is what worked for me...I took my sim card out and put 3 pieces of scotch tape ontop. Cut the excess tape off and put my sim card back in...and signal was back. Hope this helps.
Flashing the modem that correspond to your device will be an option. The ideal would be backing up your efs folder before doing anything so you can restore it in cases like this.
Find out what your modem should be and flash it again from recovery.

I flashed Sonic 4.1.1 right after I got this phone (in November), and it worked awesome until last week when I tried to flash 4.2 on it.. I lost 4g and now it mostly stays on Edge.. Any ideas...? I did all the fixes I could find on XDA, I flashed back to factory,, Factory reset it, and everything I could think of... I'm stumped and my phone is slow..

Thanks mrhaley, I tried removing the RAT restrictions, and switching to Automatic, then choosing all lte, but still no good.. In fact All lte made me lose signal completely.. Any other ideas before I call At&t? haha

Try going back to stock and start all over or flash your current modem/Baseband and see what happens

Choose all lte first then automatic. Since your stuck on edge select all wcdma too. Just select automatic as the last thing you do before exiting that menu.

Well, you all helped me figure out how to get 4g, Now how do I get it to stay connected.. It will only stay connected for a few mins now, then it goes to E.. I can get 4 g at will now, but it won't stay connected...

Thanks for asking... Yes I did lose the IMEI, and had to restore it.. I also went to radio shack and got a new sim card. I have factory flashed and reset it and did all the steps on the link above..
I have a Note ii n7100
I flashed to Paranoid Android earlier in the year and thought I'd try out something else for fun again this morning.
I first went to monxdified (monxDIFIED-N7100-XXDME1-13-01.zip) and there was cell signal but I couldn't get onto a cell network (I'm a three UK customer). It would say registered on network but would never actually register.
I then tried selecting a different radio in the installer, the top one, rather than the 2nd one - I was guessing that this was the issue. Same problem.
I then tried going to cyanogen (what I saw as a more trusted/well known rom to try that out) - this time it finds the network but says there is no signal and that (3UK) is unavailable.
I've been reading and I may have wiped my imei number, at this point I got scarred and thought I'd check here before messing this up any further.
I hope I've put this thread in the correct place. Thanks in advance.
Note: I can still read a value for my imdi number in settings, hopefully this means it isn't lost?

I've gone right back to defaults now with odin and am beginning to think it's an issue with my SIM.
Just closing this thread.
Don't forget to take your EFS backup.
Maybe you will live that problem again.
no it is not a SIM problem, i have the same problem, i did a backup for the previous rom but there is no network signal at all.

I didn't take an EFS Backup, the last time flashed a new ROM (Paranoid Android) I didn't need to. I assumed this would be the same story.

When you say you get no signal can you search for and find networks, only not connect? (That's my story)

To what version, which file and how? Like I mentioned in my last post, I've gone back to absolute factory settings and now my phone counts as unrooted. I'm thinking of just sending it to samsung. I assume they'll fix the issue if I pay them?
After looking into the issue some more it seems my IMEI has been wiped. Not sure if there's anyway out of that one...
Rooted and flashed C-ROM on my Galaxy S3 and now I have no signal, no data, no nothing. Has anyone had this happen on their AT&T GS3...? I even flashed a few different ROMs and still no signal. I tried the SIM card in another phone, and it works fine. Not sure what happened to my GS3 but I hope someone has a fix ...!

im having trouble with my phone, ive already posted on here a couple times but still no luck,
lg g3 ls990, was locked to sprint but unlocked now on the fido network. so my problem is i can not get any data, ive tried a couple of the correct apns, factory reset, reflashed tot file, rtn reset. and still nothing
i took it to my provider but because it was a sprint phone they can send it out to get it fixed. so now im stuck with a phone that does everything except get data.
I really like this phone and do not want to purchase another phone. i would rather get this one fixed somehow. does anyone or has anyone had this problem before.
when i flashed the tot file it was zv4, do i have to get a newer one or should that one be fine. also before the data did work. but after i flashed it the sprint logo doesnt come up anymore and none of the sprint apps are on the phone?
any suggestions and helpful advice???

Ive tried that before but it never does anything. Also if i go into settings and try to update prl and profile manually i always get an error.
Is there a way i can do them manually through a pc?

Hello guys, a year ago I tried root my phone and got bricked. After 2 weeks I finally fixed and came back to the stock rom. Since that day my WiFi is not connecting.
I'm able to search and find any network, but when insert the password, the phone try to connect, the signal go down, the message "connecting" appear, and after that appear as "saved" but not connected. I already tried to define a static IP address, but didn't work.
Can I broke the wifi firmware when tried to root for the first time?
Someone have an idea on what is going on?

Follow the unbrick guide method 2. Make sure you follow it right.. Don't skip any parts because it doesn't work. Don't see how you bricked the phone by flashing SuperSU but okay..

Hmm, if that and the unbrick isn't working then you might want to ask yourself it something is broken. Does it connect to other networks?

No I ve used several different hotspots to connect. The strange thing is that mobile data are working.

If that doesn't work try to flash ex kernel if i remember it correctly it changes something with wifi to.
If that doesn't work then It's broken or you can fix it by doing something else but dont know what, Good luck
