My g2 would allow for me to have a vibrate only setup, and while it appears that the same setup is available....it doesn't vibrate when set as such in the sound profile, anyone?

Does it ever vibrate?
Do you have vibration on for notifications and ringtones? It could be a glitch and if it's not vibrating when sound is on, it also won't vibrate with it off because the process of turning vibration on is lost?
Well, second time I restarted to get it on vibrate only. I did switch back from art,so maybe there was an issue with that.

Hi ppl,
Is there any way to disable vibration while charging? I missed alarm and my phone fell on the floor because of vibration! :s
You can change the vibration in the app or go into sound and see if there are any settings in there

In sound settings there is only option to completly turn off vibration but I need solution to disable only when phone is connected to charger...
Try tasker or something similar.

Have a weird problem as of today.. my phone no longer vibrates when I get notifications unless I'm in silent mode. I've checked all the settings and it is set to vibrate always (NOT set to vibrate only in silent).
I do have Light Flow installed which changes LED colours etc, I've tried uninstalling it and using the standard SMS notifications, disabled standard and reinstalled light flow and set that up etc but nothing helps, still no vibrate for any notifications unless I'm in silent mode :s
By the way, it still vibrates when I'm typing and pressing the home button etc, I DON'T have the volume changing issue either.

Glad u got it sorted, i can understand how frustrating that would be
Is there any way to have a vibrate and a silent mode both without having to go into settings and change the vibration mode? For example you turn volume down and it goes to vibrate and then if you turn it down again it goes to silent?

SOLVED!
Used Elixer to make a widget that will switch between ring, vibrate and completely silenced mode.
If a mod could close this thread that would be great!
When I try and turn my sound off ,it defaults to vibrate.
Is there a way to turn off both VIBRATE and SOUNDS without it defaulting to another.
Any sounds, including the vibration ,cannot be used when I work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Press volume down until you see all notifications off.
Or press the do not disturb icon on the status bar drop down

I have an EVR-L29, for some reason I'm not getting any haptic feedback or vibrate on touches even though it's on in the settings. I'm using gboard and have checked settings in that as well. The vibration motor works as it vibrates on ring. Anyone else have this issue?
Mine seems to be working fine, you might try resetting your phone and starting over. That's the only thing I can think of.
When you turn off the ringer and have vibrate only on, does the phone still vibrate or is the vibration mechanism faulty?

Yeah I'm about to try to do that, hoping I wouldn't have to though. Yes when I put the ringer on vibrate it vibrates.
