Hey, looked all over the internet and tried millions of suggestions but none worked:
I'm trying to install flash player on 4.4.2 so that it would work on the stock browser. I'm currently on XXUEFND3 if that matters.
It used to work before I did a full wipe since it worked on 4.3 and I updated to 4.4.2. Now when trying to install all kinds of modded apk-s, none seem to work.
Dolphin etc. work fine, but I need the functionality on the stock browser.
Any help is appreciated.

So recently I rooted my phone to ICS, using an AT&T leak. I flashed it, and all has been working until now. I tried to boot into download mode, and it won't work. I have tried many various tutorials to try and get it into download mode (For reference, I want to boot into download mode because I plan on using dman's cyanogenmod 10 glide release, and wanted to make sure all was working before I rooted again). So, knowing that something was wrong, I tried using various programs and apps to attempt to uninstall the current ICS ROM. However, all apps that I tried claim that I'm not rooted. I've done a few factory resets, and I made sure to check that my 'About Phone' settings did in fact say I was on 4.0.4. I know it is the leak, because the baseband clearly says I'm on I927UCLG9. Would be willing to upload any screenshots if necessary. Can anyone help me figure out what could be wrong? Would it be possible to simply wait for the official ICS update from AT&T, or would I have to unroot to do so? The main problem for me is that everything says I'm not rooted in any way, yet I know I clearly am. Sorry to be a complete idiot, just began rooting, and didn't think I would run into problems based on the replies to the original forum.
Just because you flashed the AT&T leak does not give you ROOT. you need to get root in 1 of 2 ways.
1. VIA CWM Install the Super User package.
2. VIA CWM install a Rooted ICS Kernel (Like Lite Kernel).
Both methods listed require CWM (Clock Work Mod) which you need to install via ODIN in PDA mode.
If you can find it you can also via Odin install a Rooted ICS Kernel (Not same file as used in CWM).

I have done several flashes and roms on my s4 and am looking to get to a fully rooted stock 4.4.2 touch wiz setup. i want to completely clear out my device with a return to stock so i have a clean slate for the new NB4 roms. I am currently on MK2 and am having some issues with roms where i either lose root or not all features are working. I have done some searching on google and on here for a full odin stock but any help to point me in the right direction would be awesome. even if its a stock flash to clear everything out and then i can OTA to 4.4.2 and root it myself that would be fine. ideally a tar file that goes right to a rooted 4.4.2 stock is what im looking for, does anyone have a link?
thanks
Google..

Theres a thread in the general section of the T-Mobile s4 that specifically tells you how to return to complete stock with links but as the other guy stated. Sammobile. They have stock firmwares. I'd follow the thread's instructions as I'm doing it though if you're not familiar
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
I have tried to search and find info on this but am lost as to how to accomplish.
I am currently rooted and running the SlimRom 4.4.4 and wish to unroot and arrive at the current stock ATT rom which is 4.4.2 I believe.
I have installed the 4.1 stock rom listed on SamsMobile and it fails when I do this. In searching I think I have read that the problem is with a lated version of the boot loader not being able to go back to older versions on Android.
Is this true and is there any work around?
Thanks much!
Ok flash the 4.1.1 in odin like you did and if it doesnt boot the first time do a factory reset and let it boot for 5 mins if it doesn't still flash this and let me know if it works

I have a rooted SGH-I747M on 4.1.2 that can't accept OTA updates as a result of being rooted. Can anyone tell me if there's a way to update my phone to 5.0 stock without losing any data, and if so where I can find a guide? I've searched these forums and google but all the guides I come across are for third party softwares (CM, liquid smooth, etc.)
Thanks!
There is no stock 5.0 for the s3 at the moment.
Since you are still on 4.1.2, your phone probably won't work with any 5.0 ROMs as your modem and bootloader are not up-to-date.
Good to know, thanks for the response.
Cheers.
you can update to 4.4.2 stock. just unroot and odin flash stock recovery. then you can use odin to root again.
I have my note 2 on android 4.4.2 stock Rom rooted and I have tried to install cm11 and different ROM's but didnt work I have tried different recovery versions from twrp to cwm and still didnt work .
I thought the problem was from the android version so I have tried to install stock 4.1.1 back but still didnt work.
It always give me an error and ends with unsuccessful install
Pleases I need help to install cm11 or something but not the stock.
Are you installing TWRP using Odin?
