Where would you tell me to buy it, and why? I'm really looking for the cheapest price, but if there are other details I should know about I'm interested to hear. I live in the U.S. and I'm on AT&T, btw.
The cheapest place i seen is clove or handtec. It comes out to be $715ish after all the shipping and currency exchange fees.
I got mine from Expansys USA for about $750.
I went with Popular Electronics. Service was awesome and they overnighted it to me. But it was a bit more expensive than some other places.
Also go it from expensys. Used promo code and total came to 729. Good service and got it on time.

Went with Negri. Ordered on a Saturday night, shipped monday, arrived Wednsday with FedEx Ground. Awesome. Came with an Andy Android figure. Customer support was really on the ball.
I also went with Negri. Ordered it this morning and it has already shipped. To top it all, it cost $720.50 after the coupon.
I went with Clove.Co.UK.
Ordered Tuesday night, delivery slated for Friday. Process has been extremely smooth and the phone cost $696.00 shipped. (No import taxes either)

I saw it on a site for $608 and a $25 off but it went to out of stock within 6 hours before I could order but I emailed them asking if it would be back up or in stock at all.

Yea I went to apply for it and well it gives a estimated arrival date of January 9th... I was so bummed. I don't want to order a phone adn be charged for service before I even get the phone.

I received mine from a LG covention they had in Atlanta weeks before its release, then I ordered one through Sprint on the 19th and havent got a shipping notification yet. That could be because of the holidays, but at work we can order them and have them in within 3 days, so I wouldnt think they are on backorder from the manufacturer, probably amazon is setting expectations for the holiday season.
Like mentioned before BestBuy will price match almost any online price and if its a new line of service not an upgrade almost every real coporate sprint store will as well.
i got it from letstalk wireless. The error was that WHile I am a JR my father has a sprint account and we live at teh same address so they needed confirmation it was someone different. Anyways No deposit and 3 lines :} Im happy lol and with my corporate/university discount I only pay around 64~69 ish a month.

Im telling you cancel your order and take the confirmation email to any of your local sprint retailers and they will price match it to close new line activations an we have plenty in stock on hand so there will be no waiting

I would but the closest one is 45 minutes away and with being a full time college student and full time job plus a second one travel time is a tad limited. And the stores here. raduoshack etc don't carry it so I was stuck going online.

Just wondering if you received your device yet? I ordered a device from amazon recently and seems like they gave me the same 8 week till ship scenario too, just wondering if it will really be that long.

I am cheap, so waiting was no problem as I had an epic I still love. I ordered it Dec. 1 (my upgrade date) and it said it was backordered until jan 16th for the estimated delivery. Anyway, long story short it came in the mail on the 6th. I can't say the backorder is just BS, but I thought I was gonna be doing the 25 days after christmas countdown to get my phone.
When I bought mine, it said it was on back order and expected in January. I got it 5 days later. Not promising anything, just sharing my experience.

I ordered mine from Clove on Sunday, February 16. I then got the email about the document they needed for security. I replied immediately. When I woke up on Monday, I had two emails from them saying that the order was completed and another one with the shipping information. I chose the more expensive shipping option from DHL and am able to track every single step of the transit.

Has anyone shipped one out to Canada from Clove? Debating ordering today!!
I ordered mine on Sunday evening 2.16.14 from Clove.UK, they asked for verification in email, I replied right away and got my Z1C today 2.19.14 at noon in USA with DHL. Great service.
No additional custom fees or anything, just the price I paid on Clove web site.

nothing about security documents or shipping info. ordered on 14, payment fully processed on 16th. i chose DHL on checkout too. i guess i need to mail them about it .. as you guys got it in few days.
i ordered black model, they report only the lime one to be out of stock.
I ordered my black one on the 12/13 got my email the next day had to juggle with the security part since my bank is a pain... Got clearance Tuesday shipped that evening and now its in the US with delivery of tomorrow =D

I got mine just fine after verification, and back and forth with my credit card company. Real pita, but got it shortly thereafter...
Happy so far, other than bugs found in the dual loader software, but good thing I use linux normally to work around it.

I preordered two from Clove back in Jan. My items shipped on Feb 4th and received both device in one package on Feb 7th. Clove and Handtec are very high reputable companies. Ive been using Clove for over 10 years and Hantec for about 5. No issues whatsoever.
Do handtec need the same verification as clove?
Im on the ping pong game with the authorization code with citi bank and clove.
the thing is, handtec says they will not charge me until it ships, while clove already charged my account and did not shop it yet .. they still require the check.
Clove is running a special that includes the DK32 dock free with purchase of the Z1 Compact. Got me to bite.

I sent an email asking clove for a free dock since I'm still within my return period let's see how they respond. Either way it's no biggie just a little miffed but I got to enjoy my phone for a week. Plus my dock I ordered already got here

I was the second person at the Dowtown Crossing store in Boston yesterday and they had only received black. The rep checked stores in something like a 50 mile radius and he said no one had them. I didn't check with authorized retailers, however.
They sold out in the online pre-order.
I pre-ordered the white on 9/21, they cancelled my order "due to stock shortage" and didn't feel the need to tell me. I had to call and find this out for myself after I didn't get a shipping notification by end of day yesterday... Now I am in the 'by the 31st' group. I did get overnight shipping and 2gb data for year for my troubles....oh well, back to waiting

I received my white preorder (best buy); but as someone else said not enough of them to fulfill preorders; maybe next week. I think the white one is a lot nicer than the black one but I prefer the icons on the note 2 to the icons on note 4 (well dialer anyways)
Yes they are. I assume they sold out all white phones with pre orders. I grabbed the black one for now. I have 14 days to switch it to the white one hopefully they'll have them by then otherwise I'm stuck with the black one.

So, question. I asked this at Best Buy and both the cell representative and manager told me I can just go online and find it, which it's not listed and they were of little help.
I want the International model as it doesn't come with carrier bloat. Does anybody familiar with Best Buys workings know if they can order it for me? Or are they limited to carrier versions?

I submitted my information for both as well. One is a T-Mobile exclusive offer and the other is for everyone. I got emails from both saying that they received my information and that I should get a confirmation email within 5 days.
My Verizon model should be here by 8 PM today. Woohoo!
