I was trying to enable ART on my G3 with Xposed installed and followed some advice that said to replace app_process file in the system folder. Somehow I think the file was deleted altogether. Restarted and now my phone wont boot at all. Tried doing a factory reset and still not booting. I'm stuck at the LG splash screen and the LED is blinking. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Yeah sounds like you'll have to flash back to stock factory. Follow the instructions on this link. I had to when I deleted some lg apps trying to debloat and everything started crashing lol. Also last I heard xposed didn't work with art, this is directly from the developer of art. But it could of changed not sure.

Open up device manager (right click my computer then manager then device manager) find your phone and change it to com port 41
Oh in the instructions it says hold down power once it's all done to reboot phone this doesn't work you need to battery pull then insert battery and hold volume up button to re-enter download mode
Sent from my LG-D850 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Port has bee changed and have tried starting phone over multiple times.
Where it says port1 com41 did it change to yellow? Also did all the drivers install?
Sent from my LG-D850 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Must be the drivers then.. LGE Android mtp device says device cannot start. Deleted and reinstalled driver twice and same issue

No mtp will fail because you're in download mode. Download the driver's from lg site and manually install. Also make sure you're running the program before you plug the phone in

Dumb question lol. You're in download mode right? You powered off then held volume up then plugged phone in?
And you put the dll file in the previous screen? Idk what else could be the issue if none of this is working. I'd try another USB port on the computer. If that's a no go try to get help from the original thread that has the files and stuff maybe the op there can offer assistance

Thanks for trying to help. After many hours of trying everything I just took it back to an AT&T store today and got it replaced.
You have to use the TOT restore the same way as the G2 had to. There is a guide in android development I believe.

If you use terminal, you problably have root acces.
Search market, or google, because I cant post it here.
Search ROOT EXPLORER, install it, give it root acces, and copy the file to /system/app then install it and reboot.

I tried doing that but I every time I try to install root explorer always says "application not installed". I used root explorer 2.16 if that helps any.

If I remember rightly the phone does not need to be recognised. Go through the process of emergency firmware update and it will install everything based on your device and serial number. Try it.

Ive had this phone for about a week and it came with software version bell 20e on ICS. My WiFi worked but was only able to get gsm data speed.(below 3g). I tried flashing many ROMs but my WiFi wouldn't work on any of them (only on the ICS Rom the phone came with). Then I tried 2 unbrick method to try and flash a new baseband/firmware (not sure which is which)... the first one gave me the original Korean ROM with all the Korean apps(I believe it was 18f kdz). The second one gave me the att ROM (10f kdz). The Korean one gave me WiFi and data but I could not root (tries superoneclick a million times and also tried manual cmd method). The att one gave no WiFi and I haven't tried the data.
My main goal is to be rooted so I can flash cm 10 or 10.1 with at least 3g data and WiFi. I actually really like this phone but all these road bumps are making me want to settle with my old phone optimus 2x. Can anyone help me please? The phone came from China I believe. My carrier is fido in Canada.

Thanks for the response. Did you get the root in one try using the TPSparky method?, becuase I'm on my 4th try now. My phone reboots two times, but the command window always says = 0 (root), And it needs to be id = 0 /root. But I'll keep trying..

FINALLY, I'm rooted. I had to change some things around in the Path Variable string, then i tried Superoneclick first try rooted. Now Installing CMW and flashing roms, I assume i just download Rom Manager from the play store and flash cmw like that right?
So.. Is my phone bricked completely? I tried using cmd to flash 2.3.5 ATT stock.. when i typed in the first code (dd if=/sdcard/boot.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p8) to put boot.img from sdcard to phone, it said that there was no space. However the other codes worked just fine. Then when i turned off the phone to try and put it in recovery mode as the guide instructed my phone screen remains off. Is my phone dead?
Ouch not a good sign. You will know by this hold down volume up and plug into the computer if it goes into download mode you are good but if the screen stays off and the computer gives you an error it is dead and will need to be sent off for repair. Good luck.

Hey guys. This is the first time I got myself in a jam I couldn't fix. I was trying to speed up my phone by deleting bloatware and unneeded system apps. I was following a thread online about what to delete etc. Long story short I I Uninstalled the downloads apk and now my phone will not dl anything from the playstore and when I dl from browser it acts like it has downloaded the file but the files won't work.
Example I tried to dl the project x rom to reflash it and restore the downloads apk but when choosing the file in recovery it stalls and says file is bad. I tried several different roms and downloads using agat recovery and Odin mobile but the downloaded files were all duds now. So I really don't know what to do now that iI can't download anything to flash and get my downloads apk back. Couldn't find the file online either. I'd be eternally grateful if someone could help me figure this out or knows where I could get said apk from the Internet. Thanks in advance guys

Would you consider an Odin one click to stock? Seems you have more than one issue that needs to be resolved. Thats the fastest fix that can be provided. Considering if you can download a 400MB file.
Check out Erikalin 's stock app in the themes and apps section, If that fails dirty flash the rom you're running, it should fix the issue.
