okay.. first of all ur fone must be fully unlocked.. and u shud hav applied the registry hack for file explorer on pc. so either u can use ur pc or ur phone itself to perform this trick.. i wud prefer pc, as it is easier.. follow the steps. (to change the icon)
1. install wpho explorer from http://www.wappstore.org/.. (thanx to the developers finix, heatchliff74, nd ultrashot)
2. provide it root access through root explorer.
3.open it and go to applications..
4. note the application id (e.g for whatsapp its 218a smthng smthng) for which u want to change the icon.
5. connect ur phone to pc and open the explorer. go to applications>install>(app id)>install.
6. there u will find .png files for the icon. generlly named "ApplicationIcon.png" and "Background.png".
7 copy and replace theses icons with ur locally saved png icons(those u wish to b seen).
8. to avoid sophistication, keep ur background.png(tile icon) resolution to 173x173 pixel and applicationIcon.png (appicon) resolution to 62x62 pixel
9. after successful copy and replace.. remove the data cable and restart ur phone.. u will see the changed icon.
(i've attached my phone's screenshots for example.. u can see chrome icon .. that is for uc browser)
(to send audio on whatsapp)
1. capture a video of length approx 10 seconds.
2. locate the video in explorer. it is generally found in my documents>zune>contents>0200>04(as in my case)
u can also use unique file explorer to locate it. using the favourites tab..
3. note the name of the video.
4. rename the audio u want to send and copy and replace the video in the folder.. dont forget to change the extension of the audio from .mp3 to .mp4
5. open whatsapp and go to send video option.. choose the camera roll> and the video thumbnail would appear.. send that video(which is actually the audio that u renamed)
i've successfully transferred a song. using fully unlocked nokia lumia 710 running on reality rom ask if u get problems..

If u dont like these lockin & unlockin sounds of i-fone for our Nexus 7, then u could simply switch back to ur stock rom's sound (which i also hav attached beneath in the name "stock-soundz.zip")
U can keep ur own sounds or voices for the lock and unlocking sounds in .ogg format from this website http://media.io/
Jus upload ur mp3/amr or whatever audio format it may be.., jus convert to hi-resolution ogg file and rename it to lock.ogg and the alternative sound file as unlock.ogg and perform the above mentioned steps... :victory:
And one more important thing.., for the unlock and lock sounds to be heard, u need to go into settings>sounds> and check screen lock sounds.
:silly:
Hit THANX for this newbee.., if this really had helped You..!!!
I am searching for this option about a long time, i didn't found any solution.Although i am not a programmer so i have no idea how to write an app for this. But i want to add all my downloaded videos to Zune directly from phone. So i just use some concepts and you know what i got,,,the solution.:
'First of all you have to need an unlock ROM with Nokia Bluetooth share app installed or rooted lumia...i am using hd7 and it's work for me.
Now what you do for adding video to Zune is Go to file manager copy your downloaded video and go to application data folder then looking for public folder, open it select the nokia folder then obex folder,,,after that you will see few folders select inbox folder and inside the folder just paste it.Now close it open Nokia Bluetooth share app,you will find your video is saving to Zune wait until video is saved. Now go to Zune you will see your video file under new file section or in videos...please if video file name is change after download please rename it before doing copy and paste otherwise it will save according to the file name it has.
you have to add thumbnail picture for your video files manually,,,go to my document than Zune, content video folder and according to your file number paste your image in art folder and thumbnail folder..now your work is done ,,,Enjoy,,,don't forget to select the thanks button and if you want, you can give me a treat....
You need Nokia Bluetooth version 2.2....without this videos to zune..
Hello everyone. This is my second attempt at making a useful thread for the community so if it isn't formatted correctly or isn't right in anyway please PM me and I will fix it., it might be helpful to me to leave instructions on how to fix it as well. If something like this already exists, I am sorry please notify me of that and I will take this down.
This is a thread to instruct you on how to make custom s-pen sounds and install them as well as how to install custom s-pen pointers on any TW based rom including stock ( this is just install, I don't know how to make custom pointers yet). There are two requirements YOU MUST BE ROOTED AND RUNNING STOCK OR TW BASED ROM. This is my method, I am not saying that there aren't better ways just that this is how I do it and I know it works. I am not responsible for things going wrong and you being left with a device that doesn't work. You do this because you choose to and understand the risk involved. Also, please make back ups of all the files you want to change so that you have all the original files.
For Sounds: (You can use any sound you have or even the voice record app to make the sound you'd like)
1. Make sure you're rooted
2. Have some sort of root permission file explorer installed (I use Rom Toolbox)
3. Find or record the sounds you want to use as your s-pen attach and detech sounds If they aren't in the .ogg format then convert it to .ogg (I use wavepad for this step)
4. Decide if you want the sound to be sound 1,2 or 3
5. Once you have your sound the way want it rename the file for attach to Pen_att_noti1 (the number can also be a 2 or 3 depending on where you want the sound) and the sound for detach to Pen_det_noti1 (again the number can be different)
6. Place the files on your phone where you can locate them with the file explorer you have installed.
7. Locate the file(s) you want to use and using your explorer navigate to the directory system\ media\ audio\ ui and paste the sounds there. (You might be asked to overwrite whats there. If you want to save the original sounds simply find the file with the same name before you paste and rename to (thefilenamehere.ogg.bak)
8. Restart your phone
9. Once rebooted navigate to your spen sound selector and choose the sound want.
Thanks to my friend TheGrammerFreak for this nexxt bit
For Pointers:
(I don't know how to make pointers. This is assuming you have a file that you know can be used as the pointer. i am trying to learn and when/if I do I will add that to this thread)
1. Make sure you're rooted
2. Make sure you have some root permission file explorer installed.
3. Make sure you have a program that can open .apk files on you PC (I use 7-Zip)
4. Using the explorer you have navigate to the directory system\ framework and copy the file framework-res.apk to a place that you can access via the pc (I used my extsdcard)
5. Attach your phone to the computer
6. Find the framework-res.apk and move it onto your computer
7. Take the file you want to use and reaname it to tw_pointer_spot_hovering_spen
8. Open (not to be confused with unzip. Right click the apk and select "open with") the framework-res.apk with a program that will open it
9. Once open navigate to res\ drawable-xhdpi and find the file named tw_pointer_spot_hovering_spen delete that file and take the file you made/have of the same name and paste it directly into that directory. exit the program after doing so.
10 Take the framework-res.apk file that you edited and place onto your phone where you can locate it.
11. Detach your device from the computer
12. Using your explorer on your phone navigate to the edited framework-res.apk[ and select to copy it.
13. Navigate with your explorer to the directory system\ framework and paste the file there. WARNING: You might get several errors and force closes, don't worry this is normal.
14. Either restart your phone or pull your battery and boot up and you will now see your new pointer. Enjoy!
NOTE: If you want a different pointer for your files that air view capable or if you want your new pointer to be used as your air view pointer follow the same instructions except that the file you are wanting to use and the one you replace are both named tw_pointer_spot_hovering_spen_more and these files can be the same as your normal pointer if you choose.

Hi!
I figure it out how to create your own live wallpapers!
Very easy, i use external SD Card to store it. Go to Settings, about the phone, storage, pull up, storage settings, themes and select external storage.
Now plug the phone in to PC, open external storage ( i think it calls android by default), open MIUI folder then open .videowallpaper folder ( it is where will be paste the live wallpapers!).
Its a mp4 video and must have 1080x1920 size with or with out sound, you must delete the mp4 extension like if it calls babe.mp4 it will be only babe and you must create a folder with video name and add "_split" in to name, like babe_split! ( Do you get it???)
You will get babe file and babe_split folder.
Now open the live wallpapers option and it will be there!!!
Easy, no?
I let you here some live wallpaper i made from some videos i download from (shhh... Youtube...)
Just past in .videowallpaper folder.
Live_wallpapers.
If you like press thanks!
Last one i made.
Cyborg from Justice League!
Cool! No?
