Hey Guys! This thread is actually a question of me finding APK fonts for android. And now, I found a thread which offer a lot fonts to choose and I want it to share with you all. So here it is.
It usually for Stock ROMs (and for Fellas who love customizing) .
Just download the attached file, extract it and you will find APKs.
Put it on your SD card and install it like a normal APK file. Then Navigate your Settings>Display>Fonts. From there,you can apply and see Fonts you just installed.

Well, I use Absolute System for changing the fonts, boot animations, build.prop editing etc. And so far, its the best.

If anybody is still refering to this thread.. the fonts that droidtwoseven has provided are super easy to install on any android device.
So instructions here are very straightforward actually
1. All you need to do is simply tap the .zip folder at the top of the feed here, labeled "FlipFontsALL.zip" This will initiate it's download.
2. a) Once downloaded, either press the "download complete" notification you would receive as a pop up located at the top of your screen or you'll find it in your pull-down notification task bar.
2. b) Or if you accidentally swipe the notification away, you can open your devices files manager, and navigate to your phone's "internal storage". Inside your devices Internal storage you should see a folder labeled as "Downloads", go a head and tap on it, to proceed inside the folder to view it's contents.
3. Once inside your "Downloads" folder, depending on how organised you keep your internal files, there may be a list of files and/or folders you need to scroll past, but somewhere inside this folder you should find (hopefully with not much difficulties) the very .zip folder you had just download here. (Remember it will be labeled as "FlipFontsALL.zip")
4. a) Now, long press on (tap & hold) this folder to bring up the extra options available for the particular folder. Or another method to bring up the extra available options for that .zip folder, simply just press it once to highlight it, and as it's highlighted, the press the "more" button, which will be shown either as a 3 horizontal/ hamburger looking menu or possibly a 3 vertical dot menu.
4. b) Upon opening the extra options menu, If you do not see any option that says "extract", then possibly you will need to install another files manager from the Galaxy store or the play store. One that has the option to extract or compress files into .zip folders.
4. B) i)) The files manager I personally use, is not the default application that comes pre installed on my samsung, but I actually prefer to use "File Manager" by "File Manager Plus/Aphainventor". It is easy to install and is available via the Google PlayStore. Other recommended files manager apps are: CX File Explorer, RS File Manager and Simple File Manager Explorer.
5. Once you proceed to tap "extract" in the .zip folder, your phone should then prompt you and ask where you wish the files to be extracted to. Usually you can chose to just "extract here", in which it should create a folder of the same name inside the current Downloads folder you are currently in, and extract the contents inside of it. (So in our case it would create a regular folder labeled FlipFontsALL. Or you can chose the option to extract the files elsewhere I'm your internal storage.
6. a) Once these files are finally extracted, navigate your way inside the new folder that was created, and you will find there to be a bunch of files, all using the ".apk" file extension. (The file extension is the part of the title for a file that is after the "."/"dot".
6. a) i)) An example for an image file would be "exampleimage.jpg" or maybe even as "exampleimage.png". An example video file would be ~ examplevideo.mp4 or examplevideo.webm.
6. a) i)) So, in our case, these particular fonts have actually been compiled individually as executable android packages. This is actually what APK stands for (android package) So all of our fonts that you extracted from the FlipFontsALL.zip folder, all use the ".apk" file extension. This is similar to a .iso file you may find using an apple device, or a .exe file that is used by Windows computers. These are all known as executable files, and each are recognized only by their particularly owned operating system, and cannot be read by another (android cannot read or install .exe files or .iso files, neither can an iPhone/apple device read a .apk or .exe file, same with windows, it will not recognize .iso or .apk files, as they are unsupported.
7. a) So now that you have access to the .APK don't files, this is the easiest step. All you have to do is pick whichever one you want, and simply double press the file. Your android device will automatically initiate to install it, and if the files have been coded accordingly to your devices OS, and is written for your devices type processors. You'll be asked if you would like to proceed with installing the files, simply just chose yes and sit back as you let your phone do the rest of the work.
7. b) One thing you may have to do in order to authenticate your device to install the APK, is give the files manager you are using the permissions to install. You can easily do this by navigating into your device settings, scroll to your phone's options for "security/biometrics", them find the option labeled as "install from unknown sources" or "install unknown apps". Once in this menu, scroll until you find your devices files manager, or the files manager you chose to install from the PlayStore, and just tap on the toggle to enable it.
8. After the installation has completed and it comes up saying "success", you should then be able to navigate into your devices display settings, where you'll find a heading labeled "fonts" or "fonts sizes and style". In this menu go into fonts style, and amongst the list of default fonts that came ore installed with your device, you should now see the font you chose to install from the .apk file.
And that's all. I know it seems like I wrote a lot, but I just was making sure I covered everything, as detailed as I could, in the case that someone who may be unfamiliar with the layout of an android, needs the thorough direction. I'm always happy to help another android user. As I believe in order to take better care of your own safety and privacy, it is very important to understand your device and it's available options and accessibilities of ensuring so.
These .apk fonts are absolutely great. Especially because they get around the Samsung block. For example, I have a Galaxy S8, and seemingly, the only available methods to download custom fonts are to either install the few mediocre fonts available to the Galaxy store, or to spend money and purchase some of the other custom fonts via the Galaxy store. So if you own a Samsung, running Android 9 or above, unfortunately you cannot install your own custom fonts using any of the font installers obtainable through the play store. You simply just cannot. Samsung will not allow it. Since the update of android 9, they've implemented various blockades to prevent any 3rd party installation of .ttf or .otf fonts. Where as these .apks use a direct installation method as if they are an application of their own.
hi im trying to make a script that i can flash to move 3 audio file from my sd card
to my ringtones folder in the system and delete all the ringtones that are already in there
the files are located in
sd/tones/alarms/01 break ya neck.mp3
sd/tones/notifications/vampier_2002.mp3
sd/tones/ringtones/wild international ringtone.mp3
any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

Correct me if i'm wrong but all you want to do is move 3 audio files to system folder? well, you need root access for that and once you gain root access, you can install root explorer or some sort of explorer through which you can copy your 3 audio files and paste them into the system folder. Look here if you want to root your phone.

thanks for the reply but thats the way i do it already but i flash a new rom every few days so it gets a bit annoying having to move them all the time then set permissions so was hoping to make a script that i could just flash after flashing a new rom

i've made flashable zips for just this very reason. i was flashing too many roms and i wanted to keep the same sounds. i flash them straight after flashing a new rom.
what do you want to replace? ringtones only? or ringtones, notifications and alarms?

this zip is to replace all of the sound files in 'alarms', 'notifications', and 'ringtones'
navigate through the zip and drop your sound files in to the appropriate folders, then delete the .txt file that's also in there. don't delete the .txt file first or the directory will disappear
then all you have to do is flash the zip in recovery
whenever i update my rom i stay in recovery and flash this zip straight after, it makes life a lot simpler!
so just to repeat: this will delete ALL of the alarms, ringtones and notifications currently on your phone and replace them with whatever you put in to the corresponding folders in this zip
just as an extra tip: if you don't want to delete everything, you can change this behaviour by modifying 'updater-script' with an appropriate text editor like notepad++. get rid of the lines "delete_recursive". e.g. if you want to keep your alarms, delete the line delete_recursive("/system/media/audio/alarms");

This is a simple guide to make your own custom rom……..(the other parts will be written…as soon as I become bothered to type for hours again)
PART 1:setup the kitchen and rom
1.Download java(java.com) and install the java JDK(www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html)
2.Download the kitchen(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246) (thankyou DSIXDA for your amazing kitchen)
3.Download Cygwin(Cygwin.com)
3.extract the cygwin file(using winzip or winrar) in C drive only….dont put it into any folders
a.Enter a file called Cygwin(setup file)
b.click next>install from local directory
c.now it will ask you where to put the program….leave everything as default
d.now It will ask you where the location of the packages are so>click browse>click my computer >go to drive C>and you will fin the folder Cygwin-packages>so select that folder and click ok>next.
e.now it will extract the folders>a promt is going to pop up..>click ok
f.now you will see a list>go to the first line and you will see next to the word ALL ,two arrows>click on them so all files can be installed.
g.now it will install the program whick take from 5-10min.
h.when its done …select finish.
i.you can now delete the setup file and Cygwin-packages folder.
j.now enter the Cygwin program and it will create some files..>when its done exit the program….
Now Cygwin program is done installing .
3.To use the kitchen:
a.Enter Cygwin folder>home>your user name>so you will find 3 files
b.in the same folder>extract the kitchen zip file(Android-Kitchen-master.zip)
c.now enter the kitchen folder>you will find a folder called>put rom here.
d.so in that folder>either put a rom.zip file or put a system.img file if you want complete stock…..(which you get from the ruu of your phone)
e.now enter tools folder>edifly_......(something like that) and see if you mount points are in it…
f.to know go to your build.prop file>check ro.product.device>and if you see a txt file under the name of your device …..your device is supported…
g.if NOT,go to the original thread …where the dev has stated a way on how to add your device…..
Now we are done from the setup of the kitchen…..
To use the kitchen:
1.Enter Cygwin
2.type
a.cd kitchen>press enter
b. ./menu>press enter
Now a list of options will come infront of you ……
3.go to the option>setup working folder>enter its number and press enter…
4.now if you go to Cygwin folder >enter home>user name>kitchen.
5.you will find a folder called(working folder_8254897)
NOW YOU ARE DONE WITH SETTING UP THE KITCHEN……AND YOU CAN START PLAYING WITH THE ROM
PART 2:Clearing up the options
Explanation for each option:
1.creates you a working folder,which extracts the rom for you.
2. It gives you super user access aka SU, Some apps require root to work properly….so if your rom isn’t rooted … it’ll be useless.
3. Busy Box is something that you install on your phone to give you some additional handy LINUX / UNIX based commands. You need Busy Box installed because some commands are not available to you and you made need them for some root level tasks.
4.To disable sounds while phone is booting
5.To add you a tethering app…..and allow you do wireless tethering
6. Zipalign is an archive alignment tool. It optimizes the way an app is packaged. Doing so enables the operating system to interact with the application more efficiently, and has the potential to make the application and overall the whole system much faster. Execution time is minimized for zipaligned applications, resulting in a lower amount of RAM consumption when running the app.
7.If you want the rom to do a FULL WIPE while installing the rom
8.To change the name of the rom
9.Checks if the update script contains any errors….because if it did the rom wont be installed correctly,which may lead to a brick
10.To see all information about your rom..ex: if you have root access/if you aren’t using stock kernel/if you have app2sd support etc..
11. Apk files have respective odexes that devs use to supposedly save space. Deodexing means you convert it back to a .dex file and put it back inside the apk. This allows you to easily replace files (not having to worry about odexes), but the main point was to deodex services.jar so that you can change all text to different colors (such as the clock color to white) and to deodex services.jar, you need to deodex everything.
12.To add a task killer….which closes applications to free RAM
13.To add a /data/app folder so applications could be installed their rather than getting installed in system/app
14.To add text editor…for ex.if you want to edit build.prop or any txt file which is in system.
15.To add a command shell which allows you to use in in the terminal
16.To give the option of moving applications to sd card
17. To add /etc/init.d scripts support ….which allow you to add tweaks and stuff for the phone
18.To allow user to put the boot-animation that he desires.
19.To be able to extract the boot.img(kernel)
20.To extract data.img (which I don’t know what it is )
21.check this (http://developer.android.com/tools/publishing/app-signing.html)
22.To covert update script to updater script which is a must before you build the rom.
99.To build the rom when you finish editing and modding.
PART 3:How to mod apks
OK SO NOW SINCE YOU KNOW WHAT EACH OPTION DOES…..LETS START MODDING,and to start customizing,you have to use an apk extractor and zipper because the apks contain all the treasure …..for example:SystemUI.apk(contains battery icons ,signal icons, the location of the clock and many many more things)
So what were gonna use is apk manager,which is an very easy program to use,and helps a lot in apk extracting and zipping and signing.
Here are the steps to use it:
1.Extract the zip file(apk manager)
2.youll find a file called setup>enter it and select option 3 and press enter.
3.folders will be created
4.so to extract an apk>select an apk file and drop it into the folder (put apk here)
5.go into script file>press enter file>and after you’ve put the apk file in the specified folder>select option 2 >so the apk will be extracted
6.after you extract it you will find the extracted files it in the same folder(put apk here) in a new folder under the name of the apk file.
7.edit whatever you want
8.When you finish >select option 3>press enter.
9.then select option 5 and 6 to sign and zipalign the apk…..
And your done ,but to find the modded apk…..go into place apk here for signing and you will find it there.

Me again and loving yr tutorial. But do have a couple of questions that I hope you can help with.
Firstly the update version of Cygwin menu is not exactly as yours in the tutorial. Why is the allow Tethering function not there and could this be a problem.
Secondly i am nooooooB and are unsure on how to add remove system apk's from rom. Do I just dig in and delete them from windows. And can I pull apk's from another rom to put into the data app folder which was created using Cygwin.
I was wanting to add aroma installer as well but another story....
Really appreciate if you can advise. If I sound to noooobish then understrand that I am to much work.

For the apks you just enter the rom.zip system>app and you'll find all the apks there..
The data folder cygwin creates is that when you use the Rom ..the apps won't be installed in system>app anymore,they will be installed the folder the kitchen created data
And for the aroma installer,leave it for later ...your still not ready for it ...

I was going to ask you about signature but didnt want to over do it. I am guessing you need to sign it after the 99 - Build ROM from working folder?
I have proceed with the Build rom and are at the recomend to sign rom stage. Its some thing I dont understand. Is it ok to proceed without?
Cool I have noticed the roms produced by dev's here xda are not signed so doesnt seem to matter for this purpose. I have hit thx ***** 5 or 6 times.
I will hit 500 s****y if you give share some knowledge in installing arroma installer. or do you recomend just trying things....cheers anyway its been awsome.....:good:
Hello everyone. This is my first attempt at making a useful thread for the community so if it isn't formatted correctly or isn't right in anyway please PM me and I will fix it., it might be helpful to me to leave instructions on how to fix it as well. If something like this already exists, I am sorry please notify me of that and I will take this down.
This is a thread to instruct you on how to make custom s-pen sounds and install them as well as how to install custom s-pen pointers on any TW based rom including stock ( this is just install, I don't know how to make custom pointers yet). There are two requirements YOU MUST BE ROOTED AND RUNNING STOCK OR TW BASED ROM. This is my method, I am not saying that there aren't better ways just that this is how I do it and I know it works. I am not responsible for things going wrong and you being left with a device that doesn't work. You do this because you choose to and understand the risk involved. Also, please make back ups of all the files you want to change so that you have all the original files.
For Sounds: (You can use any sound you have or even the voice record app to make the sound you'd like)
1. Make sure you're rooted
2. Have some sort of root permission file explorer installed (I use Rom Toolbox)
3. Find or record the sounds you want to use as your s-pen attach and detech sounds If they aren't in the .ogg format then convert it to .ogg (I use wavepad for this step)
4. Decide if you want the sound to be sound 1,2 or 3
5. Once you have your sound the way want it rename the file for attach to Pen_att_noti1 (the number can also be a 2 or 3 depending on where you want the sound) and the sound for detach to Pen_det_noti1 (again the number can be different)
6. Place the files on your phone where you can locate them with the file explorer you have installed.
7. Locate the file(s) you want to use and using your explorer navigate to the directory system\ media\ audio\ ui and paste the sounds there. (You might be asked to overwrite whats there. If you want to save the original sounds simply find the file with the same name before you paste and rename to (thefilenamehere.ogg.bak)
8. Restart your phone
9. Once rebooted navigate to your spen sound selector and choose the sound want.

For Pointers:
(I don't know how to make pointers. This is assuming you have a file that you know can be used as the pointer. i am trying to learn and when/if I do I will add that to this thread)
1. Make sure you're rooted
2. Make sure you have some root permission file explorer installed.
3. Make sure you have a program that can open .apk files on you PC (I use 7-Zip)
4. Using the explorer you have navigate to the directory system\ framework and copy the file framework-res.apk to a place that you can access via the pc (I used my extsdcard)
5. Attach your phone to the computer
6. Find the framework-res.apk and move it onto your computer
7. Take the file you want to use and reaname it to tw_pointer_spot_hovering_spen
8. Open (not to be confused with unzip. Right click the apk and select "open with") the framework-res.apk with a program that will open it
9. Once open navigate to res\ drawable-xhdpi and find the file named tw_pointer_spot_hovering_spen delete that file and take the file you made/have of the same name and paste it directly into that directory. exit the program after doing so.
10 Take the framework-res.apk file that you edited and place onto your phone where you can locate it.
11. Detach your device from the computer
12. Using your explorer on your phone navigate to the edited framework-res.apk[ and select to copy it.
13. Navigate with your explorer to the directory system\ framework and paste the file there. WARNING: You might get several errors and force closes, don't worry this is normal.
14. Either restart your phone or pull your battery and boot up and you will now see your new pointer. Enjoy!
NOTE: If you want a different pointer for your files that air view capable or if you want your new pointer to be used as your air view pointer follow the same instructions except that the file you are wanting to use and the one you replace are both named tw_pointer_spot_hovering_spen_more and these files can be the same as your normal pointer if you choose.

Thank you for your kind words. I know most of us didn't need a guide this complete but I wanted anyone who wants to do this to be able to. As far as a time limit. I can't say what the limit might be. My current attach and detach sounds are roughly 3 seconds long so I know anything up to 3 seconds will work but can't say for any that might be longer.
I have no objection to the thread being moved. It is my first actual guide/helpful thread so it might very well be in the wrong place.

Let's GO !
What You Want :
ES File Explorer File Manager (OR any file explorer supports zip extracting)
Rooted Phone
Nandroid Backup (You don't know how important it is)
1- enable root explorer and set permission to r/w (read & write)
2- extract the flashable zip to your memory
3- go to the existing folder
4- copy everything except META-INF folder to the root of your phone
5- "Must" show replace confirmation select confirm
6- After the copy operation is finished, reboot your device
7- Done, Congratulations

note if its a new file you need to set permissions of the file
most files in app are rw-w-w however some may vary depending on what file it is
at the end of the day if you have a flashable zip its much better to flash certain things than push to system so if the flashable zip has already been made for you than you might as well use it

What You Want :
ES File Explorer File Manager (OR any file explorer supports zip extracting)
Rooted Phone
Nandroid Backup (You don't know how important it is)
1- enable root explorer and set permission to r/w (read & write)
2- extract the flashable zip to your memory
3- go to the existing folder
4- copy everything except META-INF folder to the root of your phone
5- "Must" show replace confirmation select confirm
6- After the copy operation is finished, reboot your device
7- Done, Congratulations

I think this method only for apk files. "my doubt is this method is posible to replace frameworks files..?"

yes just push to system and set permissions - normally rw-r-r
although I dont know why you would want to do this as its always better to flash the file and since you have a flashable zip why not just flash it

as by my knowlege While replacing framework files means it will stuck the mobile then how can we set permission.. ? please help me.. and yes u said is correct but creating update.zip which need an a computer i am so lazy

with root browser you can set permissions of any file - please search how
it depends what framework files you are replacing - you cant just replace with any old file from a different rom - it wont work
if its been designed for your rom or you are modding your own files then thats fine
and a flashable zip takes two secs - you dont need a pc - and iv posted a template loads of times
here is it again - just add any files you want to flash to framework in the framework folder
if you want files to go to the app folder just create a folder in system in the zip called app and put files there
same for any other folder in system
