[Q] Unable to SMS on Omnirom - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have recently reinstalled Omnirom ( 4.4.4) after a full system format (previously also on Omnirom) after which I have been unable to send or receive SMS. Rest of the phone is fine. I have searched quite a bit but I couldnt find a solution. Im only getting a couldnt sent message.
Also i wanted to see if the sms service number was correct but i couldnt find it in the SMS settings. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Edit;
I have tried a different Sim and also I have now flashed the latest Android Revolution HD 31 but still no working SMS.

[Q] [HELP] ARHD 5.2.6/5.2.4 - Can't send/receive SMS

Hey guys.
Atm I'm running ARHD 5.2.4, which works well.
Today, I updated to 5.2.6, because I wasnt able to receive nor send SMS.
Same with 5.2.6, so I used Super Wipe and installed 5.2.6 again - same thing.
Then I used my backup from the 15th August - everything works.
Installing 5.2.6 w/o Super Wipe -> No SMS again and Superuser started to crash everytime I tryed to start it.
I didn't try to call, but I can surf thru the net with my mobile w/o probs.
Installed 5.2.4 again just now and SMS works again. Wth is this?
Any1 got an idea?
Another Question would be:
The lights of the buttons (home, menu etc) start shining when my DHD is in "save energy" mode... kind of strange oO

[Q] HELP! SMS (Hangouts) not working

My phone is an SGH-I747M, I'm currently rooted and running CM11 nightly from last night. TWRP for recovery. Everything has been working fine since I rooted and upgraded a couple days ago. Until suddenly this morning, Hangouts decided that I couldn't send or receive any messages. I can type the SMS or MMS but as soon as I press send, it freezes, closes and tells me "Unfortunately, Hangouts has stopped."
I tried to download a third party SMS app, to no avail. Nothing would verify my phone. I tried to clear the cache. I tried to update to the most recent nightly. Nothing. There was a thread where messages not sending was fixed by turning off an option in Google Voice+. I have Voice+ in my Settings>Apps but I don't have it as an accessible app because I'm in Canada.
I desperately need some help here as I've exhausted all available options. Hoping somebody has some insight for me??
I'm really hoping somebody can help me out on this one.
Anybody?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
FIXED!
So I'm not entirely sure what the problem was, I booted in safe mode but it still didn't work. I decided to flash 2.6.3.0 recovery for Canadian phone. I wiped the phone and reinstalled everything, back to CM11 nightly. I was then able to receive texts, and Hangouts finally verified my phone number. All I had to do was update my phone's SMSC back to MTS factory and TADA!! Everything works just fine now.
So this doesn't really answer any questions, but at least it solved my problem.

[CM12.1] Dialer has stopped working

Hello, I just flashed the latest nightly of cyanogenmod 12.1 and the recommended open gapps (ARM,5.1,nano) and I noticed that when I make or receive a call, I get a "Dialer has stopped working" message. However after a bit of testing I realized the call is actually made and I can speak with the other person so it's likely just a problem from the app. Do you have any suggestions? I already tried the clear cache thing I read somewhere ,it didn't work .

Problems with CyanogenMod 13 (apps) (d855/2gb)

As soon as the CM 13 build was released for the LG G3, i flashed it on my phone. All was good and every thing worked fine. I missed the CM apps package that i had before flashing CM 13, so i downloaded and flashed the apps package. Most of the apps worked fine, but the dialer simply won't work for me. Every time I try to make or receive a call, I get an: "unfortunately Dialer has stopped" message. It is very frustrating and i don't know how to overcome it. By the way the calls appear in the call history, as though i made a call, and the message keeps reappearing until the call ends. I have tried reflashing CM with only a factory reset, but the cm apps were still on my phone therefore I still had the problem. After that fail, I did a full wipe of the phone, flashed CM 13 (latest build), and flashed Gapps (again, latest build), but still no success. The CM apps are still on my phone.
I would appreciate any help you can give me, as this is very annoying and disables the main function of the device.
Thanks, Yonatan.
I'm on build 17/12 and it's working fine for me.
