[Q] please help - galaxy s3 no signal/not registered on network - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

so I have the galaxy i747 on att unlocked.
a few weeks ago it bricked itself trying to over the air update. I couldn't fix it so I had it jtagged and it came back. I also paid for an imei repair.
everything was fine, I could make calls and stuff but eventually lost signal.
I sent it back as I ended up bricking it trying to restore to stock rom (it was on philz touchwiz)
he fixed it, said the network problem was due to my simtray.
I replaced the simtray today, I had full signal but when I tried to make calls there was no dial tone and ive lost signal again, this time its running a hyperdrive rom. my simcard is TESCO which shares a network with O2.
it picks up the simcard and stuff im just not getting any signal, when I try to register on the network it says unable to connect.
if anyone could please help me with this I would really appreciate it! alex

I would check your IMEI/baseband. Make sure they're correct.
Also, could check your APNs.

ive tried both those, the weird thing is I get signal and can make a call and receive texts when doing a gps check. something is blocking it but im unsure what.

[Q] Urgent, Data not working, in any way.

I have tried dozens of solutions, NOTHING seems to work, I cannot get data, on any single ROM, and build any where, any how, I unrooted it, put stock firmware on, still nothing, I go to my mobile networks, and it says WCDMA preferred, I change it to LTE/GSM/CDMA, or any other option, I have no service at all, only emergency calls!! Then in about 2 minutes, it switches back to WDCMA prefered, I talked with Bell, for my i747m, they said nothing is wrong with my data! I have tried 2 different modems, still nothing, I have no friggen clue what is going on, it all started about a week ago, I just woke up with no data, if anyone knows anything, please let me know, I need data for work and school, this **** is killing me!

I didn't really do anything, I put my data on hold (Called bell and told them to do so) and now I took the data block off and now I can't receive anymore data, tried many ROMS, many APN settings, many modems , nothing.....
EDIT: Yes I called them 3 times and they confirmed that the data block has indeed been removed, all 3 said it would be instant, I took out my SIM car and everything.
Flash to stock, same as preparing for a warranty return. Verify you have an IMEI number. Replace your Sim card. If still no good, warranty return.

I might get a new SIM card, they are relatively cheap, I did flash to stock, everything brand new (for warranty return) I do have an IMEI number, I have been starting to lose signal every now and then, randomly, I just have no bars, outside, in rooms, at work, everywhere, and what's weird is that I lose all signal, when I turn on LTE/GSM/WCDMA
Have you checked to see if the IMEI is gone?

Can't find network, no data, WiFi works fine though.

Got this phone with the problem already, I installed a custom ROM hoping that would fix it but still doesn't work.
Cannot find network, though it is showing 3 bars?
Can't make calls, can't use data.
WiFi works just fine.
EDIT: Should probablly give some more info:
T-Mobile model
ROM: CleanROM A.C.E.
SIM card works fine in my other phone.
EDIT2: Ok so after more fiddling I got it to pick up a signal from AT&T with the "Find Network" search. I'm thinking this has been locked to AT&T and I just need to flash back to a stock ROM and unlock it, thoughts?
I know I get T-Mobile signal at my house my other phone picks it up just fine and I'm using the same exact SIM in both.

Maybe someone has flashed a wrong modem/rom on the phone so it ruined everything..
You said it's T-Mobile phone.. I guess it's gotta be locked to t-mobile..
I would suggest to post this on T-Mobile Note 2 forum.. They would know a way to solve your problem.. This forum is for international note 2..

*#06 etc to get your imei display on the phone. Check imei matches with imei number underneath the battery. If they match and apeears to be valid you may have a locked or blacklisted phone. Blacklisted means its imei blocked nationally due to fraud such as lost stolen and insurance replacement provided etc.

M919 stock ROM not registered on network, working fine on CM

Ok, my phone is unlocked through the free method, on stock Touchwiz ROM i can't mnake calls because it sends a not registered on network error, however, ive tried flashing Virgin and CM ROMs and i can make calls and texts with no problem at all, anyone else having this problem?
It's so annoying since this phone is my friend's and she doesn't like custom ROMs, she wants the orginal rainbow colored stock ROM, go figure.
Tried Wicked ROM too but same problem persists, so i guess it's a problem with the actual Touchwiz build.
Any suggestions?

Well, I can say I haven't personally had this problem myself, but my wife did on her Note 2, totally stock, we tried reboots, deleting and re-adding the network to T-Mo only, went thru customer care bull sh*t prompts (my wife refused a custom rom), we tried a new SIM card and it worked for a bit, they ended up giving her a replacement Note 2 (still has warranty), to date, she has had a few "not registered to the network" but not like how it once was. Try a new SIM or delete your networks and then re-establish them. settings>more networks>mobile networks>uncheck mobile data then tap network mode and select LTE/GSM/WCDMA then select net work operators, let it find the network, then once it establishes a connection, reboot, see if it helps.

I have the "not registered on network" problem too after i flash the customs rom.
how can I fix it?
I can see the signal but it show can't connect to network.

[Q] I317 note 2 at&t no signal after network unlock

Im john from the philippines and i was given this at&t Note 2 i317 by my sister that came from the us. I did a procedure which is doing the network unlock and i have no problems doing it and as expected, i managed to remove the sim lock on my phone and the phone recognized the sim card.
HOWEVER, after doing so, i lost my reception/signal and i always have this circle with line in between wherever i go. Regardless what sim card/chip im using, still showing the same icon. I have another phone (galaxy mini) and sim works fine.
I did my research and undergo flashing multiple roms (stock and custom) in Odin and Custom recovery, did clean wipe (factory reset, cache, system, data, dalvik), unroot and root multiple times, flashed Modems (from oldest to newest please see the attachments) to update baseband, did the "ping" and change the radio optio in hidden keys in dial pad to On/Off (vise versa), redo the FREE network unlock multiple times, followed the "Not Registered On Network" process, but sadly i still get the depressing same result.
BTW, the radio/modem hardware is working. There are times that the signal goes to 2 bars and has 4G connection. My wife is using the same carrier as mine and has full bars but mine is 0.
I am soo depressed right now and im about to throw this phone to the wall already. I've lost a lot of time on this to the point that my wife is already getting mad at me.
I desperately need your expert advice. I cannot send this phone to at&t since i am from the Philippines and it was only given to me.
I've attached screen shots for ur reference. I am using ezKat 4.4.2 Beta2 custom rom.

At&t Note 5 Emergency Calls Only after flashing to Marshmallow

Hi guys can you please help me with this?
I bought my note 5 off craigslist and it was currently on G920AUCU1AOJ1
This security notice wouldn't stop notifying me ect common error I guess when they first came out. Solved by getting app disabler.
I really wanted to get the marshmallow update, I tried OTA says it was fully updated.
I then flashed it too N920AUCU2APB2 Then I noticed it was saying emergency calls only when I tried to call someone. I just continued to flashing to marshmallow.
Now I can't even find a downgrade firmware back to my original state to get the phone to even work again! everything else works but when I looked in to about my phone
SIM card status it says Network Unknown, signal strength -113 dBm 0 asu. Mobile network UMTS, Service state out of service, Roaming Not roaming, mobile network state Disconnected.
I believe the guy I bought it from knew all this and that's why he took it back to a stock firmware.
Can someone please help me out with this? I can't even find the stockware to take my phone back! Either I would and the links broken or its for a different carrier.
