Brother, I have tried by Resetting the phone by hard reset as well as Stock Rom through KDZ. But still i find the problem on my F240K.
What can i do.? Please suggest.

I'm from Pakistan I have the Korean version as well but if there's any market or a guy you know who fix these kinds of problems first take advice from him before shipping it to Korea.

im a newbie here and i just want to ask something. i am a rogers subscriber and i own a sgs3. i flashed a at&t rom and had no issues at all until i opened my contacts and suddenly theres this small prompt from att that is like trying to connect to att network. anybody experiencing the same? how did u get rid of it?

I'd be surprised if there is a way to get rid of it. You may just have to use a third party contact manager if you want to stick with this ROM.

Happened a few times for me when I was using CSROM. Not sure, but I think I just cancel it enough times that it never prompts me again. Forgot...

Hi to all at first,
I have a really strange problem with my galaxy note 2, i bought it just 2 months ago not with warranty. The phone used to work great until yesterday that it rebooted and is stucked - on the samsun logo, and keeps flashing only the logo. I red some other problems like mine on this forum but i can't access download mode or restore mode. I am attaching some pictures with the logo that keeps restarting again and again.
Please guys, help me.

HI,
remove the battery and push the power button for 30s (or so). Put the battery back on and power the phone. Let me know if it works.

This happened to me a couple of times when my phone was new. A battery pull fixes it but gotta admit is damn scary.

UtkarkashGRupta, the red led is not glowing and I was using stock rom, i haven't rooted my device. I left it all night charging, I tried everything, combination of volume + home and power, but no success.

Rooting isn't a factor related to sds bug.
It is advised not to try anything and return it to service center.

I heard in a service center that it can be flashed throw rifff and in this way the booting issue should be resolved.

Are you sure UtkarshGupta? The guy told me that he is going to repair the booting index throw riff.I am not a specialist of course but what do you suggest me to do?Because I bought it online at techno house trading and I don't know what to do.

I asked about my cell phone but they says that all factory unlocked samsund are not in warranty, i choose not to pay a warranty a the website where i bought it because it was 60 euro. So now i am stucked, and the problem is that i don't live in the us, so i can't go in a service center because there are not service centers in my country. But i noticed something, i tried to use usb jig tag and the phone went on download mode but it keeps flashing the android image and when i remove the usb it riturns in samsung logo, keeps boot loping.
Is there any help, please?

Riff jtag doesn't say on it's website but I think I saw a video related to n7100.
Maybe using jtag with sboot.bin will help...

It was spontaneous and i don't believe anyone can have corrupt bootloader without doing any thing.
I put it to SDS category instead.

Can you attach image of download mode?
It happened to yesterday and even after trying countless times factory reset/wiped data and flashing Rom I still got stuck in a bootloop. So I went into recovery cwm and formatted system, data, etc and then refreshed the Rom and it worked. However my imei number was then changed to a generic one and I had to restore efs. Lucky I had a backup of it on my pc at all times.

Hey Angie,
Have had my F240S for about a month. I am in Ireland. Wonderful phone. You will probably have the dual clock on the lock screen but there is a fix on that on here and I would recommend rooting the phone.

Thanks Patrick, nice to know there's someone else out there. I've looked at the rooting method, I'll enjoy it for a couple of days and then have a go. I've been told there are a few Korean apps that will be useless to me so it would seem an inevitable thing to do. So used to using odin and Sammobile to do updates for my current phone that I think it's going to be a bit of a learning curve.

Yeah i use a korean version
Simply root it using the simple method listed at Optimus forums then use titanium backup to remove the korean apps you don't want

I bought a touch for E989 but it doesn't work. Maybe if i change the ROM it can work?

I can see parts for e980 easily. Check of touch/ digitizer of e989 is compatible with e980 or not.

Mate, a hardware issue cannot be solved by software..if you buy the wrong digitizer, no ROM can make it work.
Having said that, i don't think you should have any problem using a e980 digitizer on an e989 or for that matter any g pro variant.. In any case you don't have much choice so better to take the chance for a working phone.. Just my opinion
