What type of protective case you use or anything to protect your Xperia M.
I use an anti-oil, anti-scratch and anti-UV light protection screen.
For the back cover, I go for headcase designs' backcovers. There's a lot of them on ebay for the C1905 version. It's compatible with all Xperia M variants and it's solid, really well made. Personally I think it'd do a good job protecting my phone in case of a fall.
I also own a Goospery Diary Case. It offers additional front and back protection if that's your type. I don't use it so much though cause, I prefer my phone screen being accessible easily without much hassle.
I also have gel cases. Gel cases aren't as hard as the headcase so they won't offer much "fall protection" but I use them for when I don't want my phone to get dirty. My phone tends to get dirty at times, along the corners of the ON button, it annoys me. The gel case is designed to cover every inch of your phone, cept the Micro USB port of course.
WRONG SECTION. This question should be in the accessories subforum and not here. Please post this kind of question there in the future.

This is the back cover I use most often. It's a hardcase cover.

I own several of those, for the kinks really. I got them on a promotion. (Buy 2 get 1 free for about $5 each) I had to buy them haha. xD
This is a gel case. Covers your phone buttons but isn't as hard as the Hardcase cover
I got this one for a super good deal infact. 3 for just $1.99 so I couldn't say no.
This is a goospery diary case.
First case I ever bought. It's the most efficient if you don't mind your phone being thicker and harder to access. Each time you place a call or use the phone, you have to flip it open and put the cover at the back. I never liked it so I don't use it anymore.
Personally I prefer the hardcover cause it's cooler and gives moderate protection.
I hope it helps you out. Press thanks if it does help
BTW do you know is there any bumper case for this phone (something for just a bezels). I was trying to find somethig like that but without succes.

Nope, sadly Xperia M isn't exactly "hotshot" enough to get so many accessories. The best we get is common accessories such as cover cases, screen protectors, and so on forth. Most of the bumper casing is made for all round famous phones like Samsung Galaxy series, or even iPhones.
Would be nice if we could get one of those bezel or even a slide keyboard case but that's too much asked in my opinion. Not too many would buy it. Bad profits.
hi, i'm only use a hardcase like plastic at the price $3
hardcase for me too.

I'm having some real trouble deciding on a case. I've never used a clip on hard case or any body glove thing for any previous phone cause some people said they damage the phone if it gets dust. I also feel a lot more safe with something covering the screen like with a flip top or a decent leather pouch.
I'm an IT tech and do mostly call out or field work so I'm not always in a hazard free office environment. Something can knock against my pocket or I'll be under a dirty desk etc.
I can fairly easily get hold of a casemate or an otterbox. is this and a screen guard enough or should I be thinking of a leather case? I can get a PDair flip style but not sure I like it from the pics I've seen. I really like the look of the zenus style ones I've seen in a few other threads. Only thing is something like that I need to order from oversea or eBay and will take a while to get to me (I'm in south Africa)
Am I just paranoid because of the screen being left bare ?

I had the barely there case on my previous Galaxy s and bought another for my s2. I only had it a day or two and thought it did not do enough to satisfy me that my phone would be protected. The corners are pretty exposed and the screen completely so.
I bought a flip over case from ebay, unable to do a link to it but if you search for
BLACK REAL LEATHER CASE FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY S 2 II i9100 on ebay it will hopefully show you the one i am talking about.
It is extremely low profile, does not add much bulk at all to your phone but i feel totally confident now with my phone when out and about. Feel as if it could survive a drop from a decent height easily. I preferred this case to others as it only has a small magnetic catch at the top holding it shut (effectively) rather than a big catch overlapping and catching when i put it in my pocket. I am sure there must be something similar, closer to home for you. Good luck.
I got a PDair flip-it leather case and i'm pretty cool with it. I also put a screen protector and ta da my phone seems pretty much safe. Since the phone is really thin, i'm more confident when holding the phone with this case and it feels like i'm holding my ex phone HTC Touch HD, acceptable thickness for me. I'll upload some pic as soon as i charge my Touch HD, don't have any other camera around right now

If you're planning on using a case that effectively doubles the size of your handset while making a call you might as well just get a DynaTAC.
Get a flip style case with express shipping.
Zenus has diary series too. Highly recommended.
i got the official samsung leather flip and its very good IMO it doesnt add to much bulk aswell
I thought a Flip Top Case will be a perfect one to protect the device and purchased one, pricey one I should say, but now, after a week, I am bored, this thing is a PITA. Receiving the Case Mate Tough on Monday, won't use the current one anymore, damn protection

I decided to give this a try after reading your post. The company here does not have the otterbox cases in stock yet. The Pdair one is almost half the price anyways. If I really dont like it or feel I need something else then i'll get the otterbox also.
I also ordered an SGP oleo screen protector from the SGP store. Will post some pics when I recieve the case. Should take about 10 days.
Thanks for the advice guys!
Hi
Well, no doubt that the Arc\S is a beautiful device.
Do you keep it save with a cover? or do you fully enjoy its beauty and walking around 'naked'?
I use an hard silicon cover.

the screens been covered since new, never gone a day without one,i heard some people wash the screen covers if they start to peel back? a friend at work has done this and it actually looks good as new.havent tried it myself but i beleive the guy.

No cover just sony case with screen protector
try to use wellmax case its better than capdase for me this case makesthe phone more sexier
Naked !!!!
Both my Xperias (Xperiae?) go caseless.
actually i prefer naked, so the phone still stay super-slim and feels good in hand.
but, without any case, back cover can easily get soft-scratches.
Since a very expensive droppage incident a few years ago with a previous phone, I would literally never leave the house without a gel case on my smartphone now. Bulk-wise it adds practically nothing (still easily and comfortably fits in my pocket) and it has already no doubt saved my phone from housing cracks (or worse). I bought one for my girlfriend's phone and she doesn't always use it - guess what, her phone has cracks, scuffs and dents, mine looks practically brand new. I know others will disagree, but IMHO it doesn't spoil the looks of the phone at all.
Mine looks a lot like this, except it's matt rather than shiny and (importantly for the Arc, or you get photo problems) the camera and flash are not in separate cut outs.

Me too. The back texture feels so nice.
TPU case (Cyan Color) look good and match with JB color/theme.
I just googled Arc TPU case and this came up. I really don't think I'd be brave enough to pull out my phone in the pub if it was wearing one of these!
I use a clothed case for my Xperia Pro. I cant stand leather and metal cases. this one suits me just fine.
I use this case
iparadise.com.au/sony-ericsson-xperia-arc-case-cover/852-sony-ericsson-xperia-arc-black-circle-tpu-case.html
Although I'd prefer the case to be plain, without those circles! I love this case, it enhances my grip and fits very well to the phone, unlike other cases I own.
The main reason is my Arc S to be drop-safe. Last week it fell off from at about 1.50 m into tough ground and nothing happened thanks to the soft cover. I don't want to imagine what would have happened without this case.
Unti recently I always had my Arc in the stock original case that came with it, and used a screen protector.
Now I don't use any case at all. Arc has such a great design that it's a pitty to have it in a case/cover. The screen protector remains though.
I have green Teracell case, it looks awesome on my white Arc S
Bought a leather flip case for my Arc S today.
Disabled the hardware buttons on the front and started using the onscreen buttons, the case presses home button quite easy, so screen turned on often. Doesn't happen anymore
Found a pic on Google, too lazy to make one myself.
I always have a Gel case on my phone. I have a white phone, and I would want it to be that way for years to come.

Anyone hear of Head Case Hard Back Case's??? They are in the UK and make cases for many devices including the Galaxy Note 10.1
They are selling on Ebay with free shipping, prices are from $7.95 to $10.95 us., for that price I may take a risk on one or two,
Here are a few examples of the hard back cases, they have 100's to choose from.

I still have not, it just not a priority as I'm happy with the cases that I have now. But I am very curious of the quality myself.
.
I have bought a couple for my gf's note1 and my razr phone. The case is so so, and the sides of the case are white despite the design of the back being colored.
I Bunch of cool designs wish they have a front protector built in to protect the screen when not in use

I did order one, it took about 10 days for delivery to USA from the UK.
I got the purple one shown above, it is very thin with the bottom and top edge completely open.
The sides wrap around the front to attach the case. The design coating on the back feels tacky and less likely to slip from your hand.
The inside of the hard back is white and the right and left sides have a strip that is about 3/16 that is also white.
Did not expect much for the price, and I probably got my moneys worth.

Would you say this is decent enough protection for while it's in use, and should still be put in a sleeve or other case when tossed in a bag?
Do you happen to also have the keyboard dock? If not, does it appear to add too much thickness to be able to dock while still protected? That's my only complaint about my folio case, is having to remove it from the holder whenever I want to use the keyboard dock. I figure it's only a matter of time before the case holder snaps or something from the constant in/out

There is no screen cover or protection. You would have to use a sleeve to travel with it. I do not have a keyboard dock but it may work.
I use it when at home while playing racing games, my 360 case is just to bulky and awkward when playing these types of games. I don't have to worry about setting in down for a few minutes on a hard surface if I need to take a call or something like that. I also have a jelly case that just covers the back but this one is much thinner. It is about 3/64 of an inch thick.

I've got that case; it's pretty good, has a lip to keep the screen off the surface of a table if you put it face down. Main downside is that the SIM/MicroSD card tray is cut out so the surrounding plastic on the screen surface is thin. Over time I'm worried this may get weakened.
The Ringke Fusion looks good, however the one I had for the Samsung S4 had issues putting in large headphone jacks (e.g. Etymotic ER-4, Sony MDR-7506) and the headphone jack hole on the Z3+ case looks even smaller if that's possible. No issues with headphone jacks and the Spigen .
A while ago I ordered this case:
http://www.banggood.com/Nillkin-Sup...k-Cover-Case-For-Sony-Xperia-Z4-p-991532.html
Takes a while to be delivered, a month for me, but it really is a nice case. Pretty slim, but it is is rather firm. Adds a nice grip to the phone, due to the 'soft' feel of the plastic. It covers just the back and the left and right side, but it's edges extend just half a millimeter to protect the other sides of the the phone as well, even when it lies face down. The holes for all the buttons are nice and tidy. And bang-for-the-buck-wise, it really is a no brainer
Got the Spigen one because I got tired of the flip cover I had been using. Very nice. Not pretty, but feels good in the hand and very robust. Why oh why does it have to have the silly "air cushion technology" text at the bottom, though?
Got the Spigen case and it looks great on my white Xperia™ Z3+ Dual.☺

I haven't been using any case or anything with my Z3+ since I bought it. The back is as extremely polished as the front, so it is super slippery in almost any surface where you'd put it - seriously, very slippery; it's like my Z2 wasn't half as polished. As a result, mine already shows a few very minor scratches from the various surfaces I've parked it on, and a very light one over the camera glass. It seems that the back is not as resistant as the front, though - the same week that I bought it, I accidentaly dropped my Z3+ on the rough floor of an old church (it was during a marriage ceremony, very silent atmosphere at the moment and just imagine how I wanted to scream and swear all sorts of bad words when that happened!); "fortunately" it landed on its back, but it made a very noticeable scratch Because of all of this, I just bought a silicone case. I hate cases because they fundamentally alter the immediate look of the device, but unfortunately it gets too much exposed without one.

No no cover. I'm using one like that the amzer hybrid and it's actually pretty decent. Haven't dropped yet so don't know how effective it is. You might need to take an exact knife to the USB and 3.5mm holes though depending on what cables you use. That being said I ordered 2 lighter tpu cases on eBay yesterday. The case fits the phone like a glove though

Being the freak that I am, I always order three things when I get a new phone, first, Glass screen protector a must! second, silicone case for everyday use, third, rugged case for sporting and outdoors. I got this rugged case, for the price, it actually works quite good, good enough for drops. Not a fan of of the "kick-stand" but no choice in the matter. Fourth, I usually get a waterproof case but haven't been able to find one for this phone. I'm sure it will come out soon, nice thing to have when you're on the beach in Jamaica

I have one as well....the only thing I don't like about it is when taking it off, it wants to take the back with it. But yes, in conjunction with a tempered glass screen protector it does the job

Current cause that I know. Rugged and covers the front as well. Had it for a few months and the phone is still spotless. Case itself it's a bit scratched up but it has more quality than you'd think.
The transparent silicone bumper on Aliexpress works pretty good. It overlaps the screen a bit so it's protected from falls or scratches.
