[Q] Is there anyway to view pictures in full screen (with the on-screen keys gone)?

Hi,
Just wondering if it's possible to view pictures with the on-screen keys gone like in videos?

Yea the keys do hide, but that part of the screen is just left black with three dots instead of the keys. I'm hoping there's a way to use the entire screen when viewing pictures.
Thanks for trying to help though
Its not possible. Video is the only time the keys totally hide.

I wonder how difficult it would be to hack the gallery so when you tap or delay touching the screen, the picture would actually go full screen instead of the keys just disappearing into black dots. There'd barely be any loss in functionality, just gains

screenshot?

Edit - I'm an idiot.
To capture a screenshot, hit power+home. You have to hit home very quickly -after- the power button.

I believe also you can swipe your edge of your hand across to screen to obtain a screen capture.

Is there no other way?
On the galaxy note (the first one) I could swipe my hand across the screen and it could capture a higher resolution image than that of the SPen button press combo to capture.
I can't figure out how to do a screen capture on the note 2! I just got it last night, but still!!!
How do you take a screen shot without the SPen?
Settings, Motion, Palm swipe to capture screen.

Screenshot not allowed
For some apps screenshots are not allowed. IE bank apps.
How do I remove this?
swiping usually will cause the screen to shift slightly and not able to capture what u exactly want
Hold power + home for a few seconds.
EDIT: Looks like you have it. Ignore this

[Q] Camera Button Wake?

Howdy.
I was wondering if this phone has the ability for the photo button to wake the device and go to the camera app without the need for a lockscreen?
Galaxy S4 Zoom can't do that for example.
Thank you!

Z1 Compact's camera button has two stages: a partial click to focus and a full click to take the picture. On stock ROM you can wake up the device and start camera app with a full click. On some AOSP-based ROMs you can partially click the camera button to wake the screen and fully click it to start the camera app.

I guess there is 2 possible situations :
1. Long press on camera button will wake up the phone and launch camera app and then it could shoot in your pocket
2. Power button turns on the screen and by mistake activate camera shortcut in your pocket
I don't know if camera button action can be easily changed.
For the shortcut there is a xposed module called "Screen Tweaks" which can disable camera shortcut
I want to precise, that the camera does not only make one photo, but complete series of photos.

I don't have the Z1C (should arrive tomorrow), but can't you lock the screen to prevent this? Or I'm I misunderstanding something?

Pinch to zoom. Use two fingers and pinch out to zoom, pinch in to pull back.
You can also go into the camera settings and use the volume buttons to zoom in and out (Open the camera app, hit the cog for settings, tap the three dots to expand the settings, and select "The Volume key" button. From there you can assign the volume keys to zoom, take pictures, or record video).
Thanks for the info.
