HTC one M8 from US in Saudi Arabia - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi ,,
I am willing to buy an HTC one M8 from US and having it shipped to me in Saudi Arabia,
I am `a little bit concerned about the frequency compatibility,,
I guess these are the frequency information of the device: Networks: LTE Quad Band (Bands 17/4/2/5); LTE MIMO; GSM/EDGE: Quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 Hz), Class 12; UMTS: Tri-band (UMTS 850/1900/2100MHz), HSPA+Category 14xx (HSDPA 21Mbps/ EDCH 5.7 Mbps)
would i be able to use 3g and 4g properly?
thank you guys,,

[Q] HTC One M8 Deveoper Edition Europe Cell Network compatibel?

Hi Guys,
I really hope you can help me out. I live in Austria, Europe and I will be in Canada for the next three months. I'd like to buy the HTC One M8 Deleoper Edition on Amazon.Com and ship it to Canada. So here goes my question, does the phone also work in Europes, Austrias cell network? I wouldn't mind if 4G doesn't work, but 3G and GSM would be essential.
Hope you can help me out. Thank you very much.
Regards,
Martin

Here is whats on HTC's site for network compatability:

[Q] Which LTE Bands

Hello;
I just bought an M8 from Turkey and I want to know which frequencies for 3G and LTE are supported. There is not enough info on the package or on the website. Is there an app that shows which frequencies my M8 supports? I couldn't find any.

All the operators in Turkey use the same band according to the link below.
Operator Spectrum
AVEA 2600 MHz
Vodafone 2600 MHz
Turkcell 2600 MHz

HTC One M8 Specs (TAKEN FROM HTC WEBSITE)
4G - LTE:
EMEA: 800/900/1800/2600 MHz <======== (EMEA= Europe. Middle East and Africa)
Asia: 700/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz
AT&T: 700/850/AWS/1800/1900/2600 MHz
Sprint: FDD 800/1900 MHz , TDD 2600 MHz
Verizon: 700/AWS/1800/2600 MHz
TMUS: 700/AWS MHz

LTE channels

I'm living in europe and ilooked at HTC one site, i understand that the developer/unlocked devices have the same bands as AT&T.
in the HTC site specs the bands are:
4G - LTE:
AT&T: 700/850/AWS/1800/1900/2600 MHz
So AT&t/dev/unlocked have 700/850/AWS/1800/1900/2600
But in this site: http://shopamerica.htc.com/cell-phones/productdetail.htm?prId=42977
it says that the bands are 17/4/2/5 which are 1700, 1900, 850 and 700.
What are the right specs?

The LG-H791 is the international version of the Nexus 5x. It supports these LTE bands:
LTE (FDD) bands: 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/9/17/18/19/20/26/28
LTE (TDD) bands: 38/40/41
LTE CA DL: B1-B3, B1-B5, B1-B7, B1-B8, B1-B18, B1-B19, B1-B26, B3-B3, B3-B5, B3-B7, B3-B8, B3-B19, B3-B20, B3-B28, B5-B7, B7-B7, B7-B20, B7-B28, B40-B40, B41-B41
The LTE bands available from all the different carriers in Brazil are:
LTE Bands: 3 - 7 - 28 - 38
Your device will work with any of the Brazilian carriers including Claro, Nextel, Oi, ON Telecom, SKY Brazil, TIM and VIVO. You won't have any problems. Good luck.

Okay. That's my fault. I overlooked the "F" in your model number. Sorry. Here are the specs for your LG-H791F:
B1 (2100) LTE
B2 (1900 PCS) LTE
B3 (1800 +) LTE
B4 (1700/2100 AWS 1) LTE
B5 (850) LTE
B7 (2600) LTE
B20 (800 DD)
LTEB28 (700 APT) LTE
You device supports LTE bands 3, 7 and 28 which are used by all the Brazilian carriers except SKY Brazil and ON Telecom which use Band 38.
The 3G bands that are supported by your device are as follows:
B1 (2100) UMTS
B2 (1900 PCS) UMTS
B5 (850) UMTS
B8 (900 GSM) UMTS
Now, your device does support all of the Brazilian carriers UMTS 3G & HSPA networks because all of the carriers use Band 1 and Band 5.
Also, you specific device supports all of the 2G networks as well for each carrier. Looks like you are good to go.
H791(F),maybe refer to FDD only model, network goes like
GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900,
UMTS850 (B5), UMTS900 (B8), UMTS1900 (B2), UMTS2100 (B1),
LTE2100 (B1),LTE1800 (B3),LTE1900 (B2), LTE1700/2100 (B4), LTE850 (B5), LTE2600 (B7), LTE800 (B20), LTE700 (B28)
Frequency band allocation of Brazil is same as Europe,Band 3 (1800) Band 7(2600) for most carriers,
And how did you get such an interesting version?Willing sharing a QPST QCN backup for band unlocking?
