The DU battery apps provides a circular battery indicator on the status bar. But I dont want to use this app because it has a bit high memory footprint (usage). I need an alternative for this functionality. The app should be small and memory usage should be very low. Can anyone suggest a decent one? I tried many but wasnt satisfied. The icon on the notif bar should be circular, neat and clean showing the percentage and also the visual representation of the same just like DU's indicator does.
Thanks in advance.
xposed framework + gravitybox = circle indicator + much much more useful functions (btw U need unlocked bootloader and root)

This one is great! but the circle doesn't shorten along with lowering of battery levels. U found "battery info.".. works great and uses only 7 mb of ram.

Some GravityBox statusbar mods, especially battery, don't work well with XT1033, at least with mine, have seen other reporting the same issue.
Battery overlay percent works like a charm. I recently translated the xml file to Portuguese-BR, the dev will probably update it soon.

-Batery widget reborn
-Power Toggles
power toggles is very useful to create a notification bar menu to turn 3g/wifi/sycronization/flashlight/screenlock with just a click
both can put a notification icon on the top, always on, and both runs on background very well
i recomend power Toggles because of the more advanced features

AOKP offers the ability to shrink OR remove the nav bar.
If you remove it, you can use the Power-control to navigate...which is slightly cumbersome.
Personally, I remove it when I'm browsing the internet, playing a a game, or doing something that I don't need the nav bar.
I think most roms offer this exact functionality now.
It's been around for quite some time.
You can also use LMT Pie Launcher to make a completely invisible nav bar that is activated with a touch of the side of the screen.
I found it to be slightly laggy, but you're mileage may vary.

Liquid rom also lets you make the navigation bar smaller or remove it.

Hi all,
I just wanted to show my first android app I developed. It is a bit similar as notification toggle, but I just developed it to learn java/android.
You can set 3 different settings as notification toggles (wifi, screen rotation, bluetooth), seems unnecessary for cm9/7
You can set any app as a shortcut
always-on-top accessibility service
notification panel folds when shortcut is selected
Please tell me want you think of it, i only tested it on cm10.

True, doesn't mean I know the code to program it (yet)

I have got a freeze with but perhaps, it's because I have been too fast in pushing the toggles... By cons, it will be good that the launching of applications closes the panel of notification in same time.
Nice app bro. It works well on Team NYX RC5. Tested with Wifi and Bluetooth. If you implement GPS toggle, Flashlight and Sound toggle, it will be a very good app.
Keep up the good work.

Nice work mate! I've been looking for this since I had JKay on a Samsung ROM, but I would never go back to Samsung from CM9
Is there any way to hide the blank notification icon in the status bar? I assume this is inherent to the way the shortcuts are loaded as a notification.
Also, how's it going with the auto-close drawer update?
Great
This is great. Thank you.:good:

that's finished already, but need to make some more changes, for making it more memory efficient.
But i thought nobody was really interested
it is not possible to hide it, i might change it to a logo. It is also not possible to make 2g/3g or GPS switch due to android policy (even with root). Only a shortcut is possible to the settings page
For info:
This application works on Jelly Bean for bluetooth (on/off), it works too for Wi-Fi (on/off)!
Think you can add other as standby Toggle for example?
up
updated version:
Notification panel folds after app selection
Accessibility service added for always-on-top
A slightly better layout of the notification shortcuts
the accessibility service should be enabled if you want the notification shortcuts to be always-on-top of the notification panel.

I simply de-compiled SystemUI.apk from bigxie's JB rom (bigxie_magurTA_JRO03C-signed) and made the relevant changes to the battery PNG's and XML's.
It works fine on Awesome's JellyBelly V3.
The colours change from green -> yellow -> orange -> red depending on battery level. - This version is no longer updated

and stat_sys_battery_charge_anim* with "Green Color" would be good
I'll work on the following:
Larger font with %
Larger font without %
Green colour for charging
I'll only be updating the ICS Blue version from now onwards.:good:
I've just updated the original post with ICS Blue 1.03% (percentage).
I am experiencing SystemUI crashes after a few mins which is most likely down to the rom I'm now using (JellyBro CM10) - even the older versions of this mod are crashing it. As you can see in the attached screenshot, the clock is way off the screen - again I'm sure this is down to the ROM I'm using.
If you're still on Awesome! or similar then it should work fine. Let me know your thoughts and if you experience any issues? If you could let me know what rom you've tested and this mod works on that'd be great.
P.S. If this looks ok - I'll work on the version without percentage. You'll have to wait a couple of weeks though.
