First ever mod so please go easy on me
I simply de-compiled SystemUI.apk from bigxie's JB rom (bigxie_magurTA_JRO03C-signed) and made the relevant changes to the battery PNG's and XML's.
It works fine on Awesome's JellyBelly V3.
The colours change from green -> yellow -> orange -> red depending on battery level. - This version is no longer updated

Sure thing - I'll get working on it today.
Does anyone know the default font size for the clock in the status bar?

Wow that looks great! Would it be possible if you make one with the same font and color as the clock the % sign?
Updated OP with ICS Blue version. I know the font is on the small side but I'll work on it over the next few days (Too lazy to edit each file again).

OP updated.
Are you going to update this mod anytime soon?
I would like bigger digits with %.
good job.. but i prefer battery icon with the percentage inside the battery..:good:
lovely update, sorry for asking again, perhaps bigger fonts for the one with with out% ? same size as the one with %. it'll be awesome: )
also, when it charge mode doesn't get status of charge(on ics 1.01)
Wow, I didnt know people were still using this haha. I'll work on update this weekend if I time - larger font, with and without percentage.

Great!
and stat_sys_battery_charge_anim* with "Green Color" would be good
I'll work on the following:
Larger font with %
Larger font without %
Green colour for charging
I'll only be updating the ICS Blue version from now onwards.:good:
I've just updated the original post with ICS Blue 1.03% (percentage).
I am experiencing SystemUI crashes after a few mins which is most likely down to the rom I'm now using (JellyBro CM10) - even the older versions of this mod are crashing it. As you can see in the attached screenshot, the clock is way off the screen - again I'm sure this is down to the ROM I'm using.
If you're still on Awesome! or similar then it should work fine. Let me know your thoughts and if you experience any issues? If you could let me know what rom you've tested and this mod works on that'd be great.
P.S. If this looks ok - I'll work on the version without percentage. You'll have to wait a couple of weeks though.

4.0.2/4.0.1 Theme
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=67YRH4GQ
Updated 08/29
------------------------------
1. First release that is stable.
2. Blue Rosie Looking Theme.
3. Modified Phone.apk - blue
4. Modified contacts.apk - blue
5. Modified mms.apk - blue
6. Modified Music.apk - blue parts
7. Modified Lockscreen - blue
8. Modified Menu - you get the drift
9. Modified notification menu
10. Probably modified some more.
11. Modified Music/search widget - still working on it though.
To Do:
1. Fix Search Widget - sizing issues. I think it looks fine though
2. Fix Music Widget - sizing issues. I don't think it looks fine
3. Skin Power Control Widget (not themed yet)
4. Small edits to files once cyanogen releases a build that will be out for a while.
5. You tell me.
Please Report Bugs and Enjoy!
Fixed now ^_^
that means it was not signed not a hard fix
launcher looks ok with blue tint, but there is a problem with search widget, widget to small for search bar, it kinda sticks out, and none of the other widgets are themed in blue...i think if u work on this alot more it will be a good theme but untill then, im waiting on Ted to port to 4.0.2
TEDs Hero theme for 4.0.1 works fine on Cyanogen 4.0.2, been using it since Cyans release no problems at all.
I hope everyone enjoys' this theme.
Not that I really need a blue hero theme, but can you post a SS?
This is fully functional, should have pictures up in a jiffy.
you can try a transparent app menu but from what i have heard it is very bad on the eyes when opening and closing it.
K good looks, thanks.
i actually really like the way that this looks. the blue is subtle and looks great without sticking out. i love the way the notification bar looks, with the slight blue on the top of it. great job on this
Thank you david. It took me two nights of fiddling but it's finally usable. Maybe a few more modifications cause modifications are always awesome.
Nice job Jeff. One of my fsvorite colors. I'd love to try it out, but I'm on 3.9.11.2 and I refuse to change builds until Cyan comes up with a stable build with global search in it.

Looks good so far man. I will probably test it out tonight and see how it works. I am currently in the process of creating a theme as well. I like the transparent goodies on themes. Can't hurt to try it and see how it looks. You can always change next update. I'm excited to see how this comes along. Keep it up

It doesn't do anything to the power widget in the notification bar.. I just have mine set to white.
As for the notification bar, what rom are you running? It might have just not stuck.
Just a suggestion, please update the Instruction if this requires De-odexed ROM. Some people may load it and get a boot loop.
Thank for the work.

I love this theme, but has anyone had trouble with installing framework-res since upgrading to CM6 RC2? Fonts install, but the framework just sits and never completes.
Edit: seems I'm running into an issue with fonts too, a number of characters show as just squares.

I'm about to upgrade, just woke up. I'll check it out.
Edit: I'm not having any issue with fonts. Settings.apk, Torch.apk, & framework-res.apk won't stick at all though, I'm not sure.
I ended up redownloading the zip, framework installed then, but still running into odd issues with the font, stands out the most with application titles. Terminal emulator, sound recorder, and rom manager each have a series of squares in the title as an example.

Change green highlight view
Great idea! I wanted to expand on this a little more and stumbled on a method to change the green circle.
If you add this to com.android.systemui/res/layout/op_fingerprint_high_light_view.xml it'll allow the option to change the green circle color by changing the drawable which is located in res/drawable-xxhdpi/op_ic_fingerprint_highlight.png.
One thing to note with a short amount of time testing. My fingerprint was not recognized as easily, so remapped it with new color and it worked fine. Unfortunately, I was not able to catch this change in a screenshot, but it does work.

I don't recommend you changing the green colour

Why is that? Everything is function flawlessly after I remapped my fingerprint.
Is it possible to match it to the system accent automatically? It would be cool if it's possible.

Is it possible that you could explain how you did this, or are you going to keep it secret for us to figure out
Thank you for the mod though.

Install substratum, then add the "theme" and install/run it..
root is required..
Could you add an option to change the glyph too? I'm personally looking for something that looks more AOSP than the current one. This glyph in white would be perfect but I'm not capable of changing it myself.

Since you were able to change the animation, why don't you change it to have this cool fingerprint animation from the Vivo Next: https://youtu.be/0DgYUNCrgXM
I'm sure lots of people would prefer this over the stock ones.
@mingo_mgx Good one :good: will try it out
