Hi
I think we all agree that the user experience which kk brings is superb especially in calling and messaging. However, there are always some small bugs which need to be reported so that the concerned team can fix them in the probable following updates.
I hope LG notices this thread and its comments.
the ones that I'v found:
1. Task switcher bug
I don't know if it's happened to you or not but sometimes when I hold the home button to switch between apps I see no apps. This happens especially when the current app is loading or something. rotating the screen shows the apps again.
2. some apps like gallery and dictionary have no exiting effect. I mean when you push the back button to exit them the regular effect is not shown and it just jumps out of them.
3. We have the part "Answer me" in settings but there's only a flip to silent option there while we know answer me is the option using which you can answer an incoming call without touching anything and by taking the phone near your ear.
4. We had an option in gestures in JB and it was tilt screen to move widgets to next home screen but it's not there anymore which is a drawback.
5. Instead of File networking which we used to have on HB, now, we have media server which doesn't give you the full access to your files wirelessly. you can only brows your media. another drawback in my POV.

You resolve the problem, performing hard reset.

At boot the clock format is reset to AM/PM (from 24h) with Vodafone 20A rom and German 20A rom.
Bug not present to everyone.

Strange,
I was ond 10D, just flashed 20A German ROM, and no LTE, only CDMA/GSM.
My phone was from (I think) Thailand, and I live in Serbia. But I had LTE on previous ROM, now I don't.

I have tried to downgrade do 10H, and no LTE there also, then I upgraded to 20A Baltic, same here, no LTE (It is the same ROM as German)

Cnock Code is missing...
I think the LTE option is network dependant. If your network suports lte the option will be there to choose. if not no option. Too wise!
I have only a task switcher bug, pluss icons now can't be changed from other themes.

Sorry,
can somebody post keyboard apk and odex file, i have corrupted mine. I have tried to add 5th row with numbers on stock keyboardm but no success.

I had the same problem, when i tried to edit with Buildprop app from app store, but after that i edited it with plain text editor (from solid explorer) and it worked.

Hi twicefooled. I can't see how this helps as the file is being modified the same way. Anyway I tried using solid explorer but still not working. Connection goes back to gsm/cdma by default after reboot instead of lte.

Well, I dont know how it worked for me. If it helps, I did root with https://www.towelroot.com/ and flashed rom with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190
FM radio
I dont know if it is a bug, but I have noticeable worser reception for FM radio stations. Nothing cant be listened inside the building. On previous. ROM FM radio was great. Any fix?

How to install:
DOWNLOAD and copy into SD card
-boot into TWRP recovery: wipe dalvik cache, data, cache, custom storage, system;
-from TWRP install from external SD and flash
-after setting up google account and wireless, when screen appears, go to: SETTINGS---MANAGE APPS--ALL-----CONTACTS--and click on CLEAR CACHE, CLEAR DATA AND FORCE STOP (in order to activate correct call display of city and country) --NO NEED TO REBOOT --after that try to dial contact and you will see under number-city or country;
also you can call your number from another phone but don't answer and you will see how many times phone rang on missed call;

ART works great on b634..(on b635 messed up everything...).. to enable ART search xda forum or google....you cannot switch (usually is in settings--developer options) for huawei p6...... it's a small flashable zip.

i don't know at the moment ...but if you swipe down carrier's name you'll see notification, if swipe down other side (clock, wifi, battery) you'll see switch (between tools)

How to hide OPERATOR name in status bar
Find this line in local.prop : ro.config.hw_showSimName=true and change it into ro.config.hw_showSimName=false
NOTE : This is local.prop not build.prop

is cabon rom kk 4.4.4? you can make a backup of carbon (just in case) with twrp then follow the instructions above for intall this one (it"s impotant to wipe) ...i think yes.

Hi. I have an issue. Don't have data on GSM signal. I see 3g but no connection at all. My apn settings are ok. Have any solution? It's very important to have Internet for me because I need it for work. I'm in Italy with Wind carrier.

I've found this https://www.androidpit.it/forum/560792/impostazione-apn-wind-configurazione-per-smartphone for apn config. wind. Does the wind carrier appears on status bar? Also try to remove sim card and put back. Tell me if you fix the problem and how.

Yes, my carrier is on status bar. The apn settings are good, show me in 3g but no arrows for connecting.

better GPS, WIFI direct. If you have repack b634...go to system update and you'll see b635 update and the list of improvements....but you cannot install it while you are on repack b634....i made this repack with b635 update in it.

just install root uninstaller apk (green android icon) from play store and remove google apps you don't need..and yes..b634 is great..but for me it was anoying to see update notification for b635 on status bar...it's no difference between b634 and b635

A lot of people complain about new version, B635. they say that is unstable, it has a lots of conflicts between the drivers and between regions. The icons are deleted at restart. They even say this is not a new firmwarw, is just an update for B634.
It's this true?

if update b634 is installed without part 2, and then updated to b635 (witch is a small update), when revert to ART runtime, then is a big problem with all this things mentioned by you (icons disapearing, region etc.) . This repack solve this issues. ART works perfect.
Only complains until now are that the only few operators are not listed in cust and they don't have access to mobile data APN (ex. Wind operator italy, South Africa MTN operator)-I will try to fix this.
Othewise no other complains or problems. I'm waiting for comments.
How is battery drain comparated with B634? I have B634 made by you.

It's the same...update b635 brings improvements regarding gps and wifi direct
I will install it this evening and I will be back with a small review.
First bug: when I play a game (Clash of Clans, Galaxy Legend, etc) and somebody calls, I can't answer at that call and I receive an error message. 3 times happened in 14 hours.

I don't have any problem with playing games and answering....maybe you have to many apps running in background while playing....I tested a few minutes ago clash of clans and calling.
I've found, instead, a bug with skype ...when tried to send video message... suddenly exit to message field...but only newest version of skype...the older one works ok.
I have the b634 for a week.
And i can say its the best rom ever great battery fast the only thing i make its delete google apps

You said B708 but in the link it said B704 so this is same with EMUI 3.0 repacked by Oxalis ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56745296&postcount=30 )

have you added the APN for your carrier? this ROM doesn't detected automatically - you'll need to add it manually.

Mobile data works for me no problem. The 3G/H+ icon does stay as it is part of the ROM. The ROM shouln't need to detect the APN settings, your carrier should push the setting to your phone.
Battery drain is a bit much compared to B512. Also besides it thinking I'm in Russia in some apps and china in others it is working well. I flash the EMUI 3.0 repacked and the GAPPS 4.4.4 from Omni ROM + the SD card fix.

I'm returned to Omni and wait for the official release ..

Same problem here, no data on Wind carrier in Italy. Pushed the apn settings but nok way, i removed all APN settings then put all manually.

the themes are only accessible using a huawei id (which you need to create, but in order to be able to create you need to change the region of your phone )
so you have two options: either go to all this trouble or wait for someone to publish some .hwt

Just delete all the application that contains the registration (ID) and themes will become available for download

if I delete "id huawei" does not make me click download. no download. can you tell me how?
You must install the REGION CHANGER APK ! You find it on the play store ... And select chinise!
I've downloaded themes with huawei ID, but phone can't completely apply the themes, for example in the attachments screenshot , in the theme the quick settings bar is dark/black with green toggles, but when i apply the theme the bar still remain white and with unreadable letters. please help me thanks

To register to Huawei (and have an Huawei ID no matter where you are)

It work for me just connect then and you can download theme and without RegionChanger (I'm in Reunion Island)
For those who can't sync their contacts I think it's better to flsh Gapps than download them with Huawei Market > Playstore

Installation
- Make a (Nandroid) Backup of your current ROM
- Full WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + wipe dalvik cache)
- Select ROM from sdcard
- Install ROM
- After flashing, reboot device (First reboot will take a while)
- Enjoy CM12 on your device!

Just wanted to chime in before anybody asks and say that this ROM seems to work fine with Boost and Virgin Mobile if you apply the universal APN fix. I wasn't able to test it extensively, however, as a snow bank ate my S3.
I can confirm working on virgin mobile.I had to use the r2 APN fix.I have been running this since yesterday.This ROM is very very smooth.Thanks for this.
I'd like to add I didn't try stock messages as I like and use textra.

can anyone confirm that the 5.0 alpha 1 gapps offers the Google keyboard or any keyboard on cm12 so we can sign in and such?

PA micro version? The most it really brings in is the Play store everything else has to installed from there but you'll have the aosp (5.0) keyboard to log in and everything .

oh do i have to let it "activate" to get signal?
My phone is galaxy s3 L710 on boost mobile running nd8 modem.i skiped the phone call activation and did not need the apn fix either. And also cm 12 does not support theme chooser yet.and there is no modifications for status bar.(clock postion,battery icon)..
Loving the build so far. Sound is actually louder sending to my car stereo via Bluetooth. Not getting the artist and song name on the display, but that's a minor quibble.
Otherwise runs great, just as fast as 4.4.

okay so your good with the ND8 modem......now just trying to find someone that has it working with the NDC modem cause im not having any luck

do i have to flash this r2 thing in order to get any signal on boost mobile? cause after the flash i just did i have no signal what so ever WiFi is good though

Fluid and battery management is fine.
can you add the others add-on for this rom, like network issue fix etc...
The download is slow. 100kbps. The download site is Vietnamese I think. Click the white download button if you don't mind waiting 5 hours for the download to finish. Or wait for a mirror.

When I flashed on my VS980, I had to put a APN in to receive data.
Considering you're on T-mobile I suggest inputting this and seeing if it works:

Already tried that..its not just the data, but signal gets dropped every couple of min ..changing operator in build.prop didnt help.
Edit: this rom looks very promising to me except the network/data issues. For most of the ppl it should work..probably few using unlocked lg g2 vs980 on different carrier would face issues.
I am going bank to cloudy 2.2 For now.

No i didn't...when i flashed the rom,aroma messages show "flashing the bootstack.."or something like that so i Assumed it's part of the installer..but i will try again.

I am on d802 and have no problems at all. Everything is working great. Gonna test a few days. Then i can say how the rom is really running.
