[Q] help with clockwork and root

hello,
i don't understand the new Method to root the mytouch slide.
I want root and the possibility to start clockworkmod for R/W Access
and install update.zip. But i like the stock rom and i don't want downgrade to "eng".
edit: works the ota spoofing method with the newest update?
is there a solution for this?

[Q] Lollipop... Update without backups?

Hi everyone.
I have the D855 model of G3 with 4.4.2 (KitKat) stock version installed without root. Yesterday, I receive the notification of update to lollipop but I haven't done it yet.
I pretend to root the lollipop version (or at least, wait for a method to root, because there is no way yet, right?). What's the best procedure to do it?
a. Update to lollipop and wait a method to root it?
b. Backup my actual version before update so, in case of not exist a root method to lollipop, I can restore KitKat, root it and them install a root version of Lollipop (if so, how I can make this backup since I don't have root?) ?
c. Root now, make a backup and them remove root to update by OTA or install a rooted version of lollipop?

Root samsung3 on 4.4.2

I have read and read trying to find best way to root my samsung s3, I have try towerroot with no luck, cf-auto-root I used before to rooted when my s3 was on 4.1. ... my question is can I use cf-auto root to root my phone that running 4.4.2..

I updated my g3 with official android 5.0 i know that i can't root my phone after the update plz i want to know why i can't root it
and when android 5.0 will have root access
if it will be rooted after a while or not ???

BEcause there isn't a root method available for 5.0 as of now.

We don't know
If you want root, you either wait till a root method is available for 5.0, or you use Kitkat, or when you're on kitkat you root and install TWRP and after you've installed TWRP install one of the many custom lollipop roms which include root.

The fastest solution is to downgrade to KitKat, root, install prerooted version of lollipop.

N920a root

I have find this page where there is root for n920a. If i apply root to my device after can I install a custom rom of an n920c?
