Does the plastic wrapper that comes with 10.5 completely clear? I would like to keep the tablet inside the wrapper and use it until I get a screen protector. Thanks.
No. It's a cotton cloth cover. (white)

This is true. There are also a couple small strips of plastic around the edges. I almost wondered if mine had been returned.

I have a screen protector and case on it 90% of the time but when I put it in my car dock I have to take it out of the case. I am noticing really small scratches on the bottom of the phone by the Usb and Hdmi ports.
I was wondering if there is anyone who as used any kind of scratch remover or something to buff them out? I have heard of ipod scratch removers and such just looking for anyone's personal experience.
Being thatt eh edges are kinda like rubber coated, its going ot be hard. I would leave it man.
scratch it all off and have a red ring

To be more clear, it's rubberized plastic

He's talking about the shiny black plastic that encompasses the top half of the phone, which is actual plastic, and not rubberized plastic. And unfortunately I don't know what you would use to buff them out. However I imagine that you could use a high quality plastic polish and scratch remover to buff it out. Just speculation.

Did you guys got tempered class for Galaxy S3? If you do, share your experiences here. Our experience can be the useful reference for those guys who doesn't own a tempered class.
Here is the tempered class for Galaxy S3 that I share.
I bought one for my S4 mini as well as my S3. I got it off ebay, but I think they are all the same.
The procedure:
In the pack you get a wet alcoholic wipe and a dry microfiber cloth so you can clean the screen thoroughly. After that you can apply the antistatic sticker (also included) so you can prevent dust falling on your screen while you prepare the screen guard. Peel the antistatic sticker and apply glass. Applying the glass is the tricky part because you need to align it good from the start. If you see that the alignment isn't good remove it and try again because if you lay it down whole you will have trouble removing it without damaging the sticky bottom surface. I damaged it on my S4 mini and now 2 small bubbles are in that place. If you achieved perfect alignment you can just drop it - it sticks without any bubbles, but if you entrapped bubbles you can try to push them with the plastic also provided.
About the guard:
I wouldn't suggest drilling it, trying to shoot at it, or making it an shield for explosions like in the pictures. It is more durable and more resistant to scratches than most of the cheap plastic protectors around. It is about 0.3mm thick and that is the only minus. I would recommend it as a better option to plastic ones.
Cheers!

Do you notice the extra thickness compared to a standard screen protector?

I'm currently using a standard screen protector and wanted to find out if the glass one was better than the one I currently have and am I able to use it with any case because I'm looking at changing from the capdase cover I have now. I've been checking on Amazon and I don't know if I should get the zerolemon zero rugged case as a 2 in 1.
Just received my case from AliExpress.
Very thin and first impressions are favourable although I'm tempted to put a thin clear film over the joint between the case and mini screen in the corner in case the edge flexes and scratches the screen.
Construction is a very thin hardshell rear with a plastic flip and a smoked translucent corner on the front.
Clearance for the cameras on the rear is minimal.
There's a small square magnet visible on the flip below the widow for the hall sensor to let out acts as a smart cover.
Using miui12 always on screen and smart case options gives a small clock and battery indicator in the window.
Can see the height difference between the Xiaomi smart cover and the leather case I had before.
The orange is muted and the Matt dark grey of the phone holder contrasts nicely.
Hopefully the mi10 won't get as warm with this case as it did with the leather one!
Does it affect (reduce) the screen on lateral ?

What do you mean by lateral?
That might not have translated well
The screen turns off when you close the case and turns on when you open it.
I highly suggest not using this case! it leaves a mark on your display exactly where the glass plastic part begins. because it is not perfectly flush with the leather part.
I used mine for about a week and have a permanent scratch on the display the entire length of the plastic window.

That's not good!
Mine the plastic is recessed away from the screen slightly so it shouldn't make contact.
I put a piece of clear gorilla tape over the joint anyway
I take it you don't have a screen protector fitted?
Mine came with one

nope mine did not come with a protector! which is odd cause everyone got theirs with a protector already applied. At the time I assumed this product would protect the display until my glass gets here but... it did the opposite -_-
I don't use this case even now that i have the glass on my phone because it limits the ways I can use it.
It looks dumb when taking photos because the thing just flaps in the air also cannot use my gimbal or my bike mount. all in all not my best purchase

I can't believe plastic is able to scratch the gorilla glass display.

I would guess you have an screen protector. I didn't see mine at first because ist sits perfect.
Looking at the notch is where i could see it on my phone.

Be my guest and try for yourself. I don't know the technical term but the screen has some sort of coating as it's top most layer and the case made a permanent mark on the glass if you clean it perfectly it's not visible. But as soon as you touch the display that part will get dirty almost instantly. Another example, if i use an alcohol wipe the outline of the window on the display retains moisture and the rest does not. So call it what you want but this case damages your display.
my solution was to clean the display perfectly and put a "Hydrogel" (marketing BS for plastic foil) on top. I totally forgot about it until you quoted my post
Oh you mean the oleo phobic coating. Been there already because i was so "smart" and had washed my first smartphone display with dishwashing soap and was wondering why it was getting dirty even after cleaning.
Later I found a solution:

Currently using the aramid fiber case and its perfect except for the exposed hinge. I wonder if something like a skin would work to cover it up at least to prevent scratches. Does not look like there is much of a gap between the hinge and body to allow it to fold with a protective layer.
I have a little skin that covers the hinge portion. It seems to slide underneath the front and back portions when I open it up just fine. At least in the less than 24 hours I've had it on.
do you have a link to it? I want to try it out
I made one for my fold 3 using 3m vinyl. Slide underneath when opening.

Smart! And it looks great!
I stick 2x transparent tape on the hinge and does the job with spigen armor pro. Only little scratches on the tape but hinge under tape look perfect and so should be a lot of time
So I went to a Zagg store today and had my outer screen protector replaced, it was toast but lasted a while. I had them also drop the 3DO custom on the back.
But here's the question, has anyone put a protector on the plastic fold trim that says Samsung. I've got one nick on it, and wondering if the mechanism has the tolerance to apply a PET plastic to it. I've seen some on Amazon, any luck, does it work?

I don't think there is a protector for that place because it'll be difficult to open and close the phone. The plastic protector will make it hard to fold the device.

I sure a skin on the hinge of my ZF2 and now my ZF3. It doesn't interfere at all. It's just a thin clear skin like a screen protector.
By the way, the hinge isn't plastic. It's aluminium.

On the silver Fold 3 the hinge is glossy silver, so I think it's actually stainless steel.

Nope. It's aluminium. Samsung made a big deal about the frame and hinge being made of their new "armor aluminum."
Aluminum is also silver, and can be shiny/glossy with either a clear coat or being anodized.
Wow, if it's metal it sure feels like plastic. The gloss paint on it picks up micro scratches like crazy.

Yes the hinge is all metal.
No plastic there.
