Hi guys,
I've strange situation trying to hack my card on work, legal use.
Every phone has a identifier that opens the door at work, or a card.
The signal reciver is a card tapped on the door.
Just wondering do you have anyrefernce on how can this be done ?
I wanna know it : ')

It depends on what kind of card. Do you know the brand name or anything?
I'm trying the same thing we have HIB card readers on every door and I always lose my badge so if my nfc would do it that would be great..

Scan your badge with NFC Tools app, does it read anything ?
Can i use the nfc for the metrebus card? It is a card to access in the metro in Italy xD
(I have the original card, but I wanna use my phone)

The problem with doing security cards is they generate a random code each swipe and I don't think the phone can emulate this

Many cards for those use are not NFC - it's RFID and this is not supported by phones' NFC readers. You should purchase a RFID Sniffer.

Am pretty sure that to get into my flat I use a NFC key, so is there an app that can replicate this function?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
It would require coding but I have seen it done if u have a key or something that is flat yesterday could fit it into the back part of your nexus
Sent by me, for me and i love you

Card emulation is supported. NDEF Push is, but I'd suspect the cards you want to use aren't NDEF.
I think most remote entry systems like that use RF
Ya, I think most doors are RFID, but you could easily just slap an RFID chip in your battery cover...
Just discovered that the sports card on Google now is working in the UK..
Yup it does. Is there any other cards apart from the weather in the UK?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
I get local places and traffic
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I get just the weather. Do you have to activate them some how by like using navigation for the traffic etc

Google Calendar events with locations produce cards also ("You need to set off in 10 minutes to arrive by 7pm" etc. etc.)
Also if you set your places in location settings then you will automatically get traffic for work and home destinations etc.
It often gives me suggestions for traffic at places I have stopped at and also after I have searched for places in maps and in chrome.

Hey all,
Anyone give those Samsung NFC TecTiles a go with their GalNex? It looks like really neat stuff!
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
For what they are, the tags are overpriced. You can get tags for about 1/3 the cost from Tagstand.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Which app do you use to customize the NFC tags?
Sent from my AOKP Nexus using xda Premium
Yeah, the tags are really over priced... but they get the job done. I picked some up at my local Sprint store for me and my dad, (he has the Evo LTE) and they work fine.

I also can confirm, just download the tectile app and configure them to what u want

Tec Tile in Google Play.

i ordered a box of them from samsung with my 50% off coupon code.
however, i've never used nfc before outside of wallet.
if i set one to toggle wifi, gps, start car dock and put it in my car, when i scan it once to activate car mode, if i scan it a second time when i leave the car, will it
Only one way to find out... mind sharing the coupon code? Is it for Samsung.com?

I have played with the Tec Tiles. I hear that you can use the app in conjunction with Tasker to do more powerful things. Anyone know anything about this?

Is there a way I can put configuration on these other than using the TecTile app?
I want to put corporate settings for a wifi network on there, so the user simply adds their username and password and the rest of the network is setup. Is this possible?

So, as we know our XPERIA's support NFC, in my country we use NFC cards to pay in transport, so is it possible to clone my Transport NFC card to my Mobile and then use my Xperia S as NFC card? I've searched for such apps and haven't found anything, so if you know any such apps let's share it. Thanks in advance
If you can bypass the security implemented into the card then it could be possible
Sent from my Xperia S using xda premium
From my research, the Xperia S is operating on the frequency of a NFC reader/writer.
It somehow refuses to work as an NFC tag such as a card. I tried with an arcade game which supports the use of NFC phones to replace the game cards.
The machine will not detect the phone. However, my phone can read and decode the game card just fine.

Thanks for efforts : )
isnt it more for security? if you can copy travel cards whats to stop someone from copying a nfc credit card?
Most of these cards have read and write and copy protection.

Just wondering if I could use the arc as a remote camera for like security I have two extra arcs and would like to try setting something up
Sent from my C6506 using Tapatalk
Not possible unless you're willing to write the program from scratch that will allow you to use it as a remote camera.
