Some problem about Paranoid Android 3+

i'm using paranoid anroid 3+ but i have some problem with my dialer , have some one got this bug like me ???
after flash this rom , i reboot my HOV but it stuck at the red text screen , i have tried to shut down my device then reboot again and again , 2 or 3 times , and it start up @@ , some time i need to reboot my device but when i do , it alway stuck at the red text screen then i do the same thing and it stat up agian @@ , have some body got this problem , or some body know how to fix it , please help me , i was search for this issue but i got nothing (sr poor english )
i'm using boot-HELLBOY-42-201302150110.img kernel

its a initial built there are many issue with this rom better to switch to other rom

Hello , i only flash
LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_(1254-2184).ftf by flash tool .
than flash
[Kernel][All Mogami][CM11.0] Dark Kernel 20140608 by fastboot
than instal
[ROM][4.4.4][AOSPA-LEGACY]ParanoidAndroid 4.4 [FINAL][PA4.4 OUT][27-06-14] righ by instruction
and have huge battery drain causing "OS android"
Can someone please help me , what i can have wrong?

currently all LX (& its based brothers like PA; AOKP .. ) have this bug. if you want the most stable CM11 use the 19/3 build which is pmem

thank you for answer , i just instal {Arc/Arc S}[DEV][KitKat 4.4.3][CM11.0] LegacyXperia and it is working nice as paranoid , but without battery issues....

Its easy to fix... Just charge your Phone up to 100% and wipe Battery Stats... Try Battery Calibration by NeMa @ Playstore....

I guess the problem is cos no deep sleep for the phone.
I am using nameless rom (weekly 13/07/2014). What i did is:
- Go to System settings /device control
- Swipe right to get to Device control main menu
- Scroll down and select More...
- Select Build.Prop/PM deep sleep ->choose 3rd option (best)
That s it. My Arc S battery drain problem was fixed.
If It work for you then please share with the community.
(I dont know if other 4.4.4 roms have that device control or not)

Same problem with Parandroid, Pacman and few other roms (along kernels recommended)
Tested about 10-12 hours with each rom.
Then I found out that CM11 LegacyXperia Kernel and SlimKat rom work great. Good batterylife time and performance.
I think you should use CM11 LX kernel for other roms.

Im using SlimKat and there isnt "Device control". I guess this is NamelessRom's function.

I also had the same drain battery issue with paranoid android 4.4.4 for I9500 but it's solved: all you have to do is charge your batt fully and then reset battery stats. Search for "battery calibration" at Play Store. The first app with the green android classic icon, was the one i used.

The last release PA 4.5 Alpha 1 has a better battery draining, deep sleep works.

Help Always FC with my Xperia S

Hi Xperia S users
been using XS for over 2 years with custom roms(since carbon 4.4) ... i am a regular rom flasher and i know all the flashing procedures .. i just need help with the FC's that happens when i freshly install a new Lollipop roms mainly... no matter what ... weather its a nAosp, ucyan, or Oneofakind..
i follow all procedures
The FC's happens every-time on my 1st boot itself after 5 mins or so.
if i boot rom alone without gapps then it works flawless .. no FC's whatsoever
But with gapps, it is not working for me at all .. ( i mean any gapps, Opengapps, slimgapps delta gapps .. mini,micro,pico )
have been having this issue for the last 5-6months ..i moved on to xperia z3c... but i broke the screen twice and got no money to repair it again ( wish it had the strength of the XS)
i am using the latest fota, twrp, have re-partitioned the sdcard, f2fs(cache,date) tried the sdcard but no joy with the fc's
Don't know how to get it up and running and i need a daily driver
Please help anyone

Do try the 5.0 gapps from here. They always worked for Me, no matter which Lollipop ROM.

Or tk-gapps and remember to use twrp that came with nAOSP

Tried it with the 5.0 gapps .. and i Was Amazed ... But why it does this with 5.1.1 gapps ???? ... i am so glad .. Its Alive and running with No Fc's so far ... :good:

I tried the tk 5.1 a while ago and it was the same thing .. but i will try the 5.0 if they have it .... some other time

need help in porting miui 8 for note 4

Hey all dev here
I successfully builded miui 8 for note 4
All flashed properly
I used ramkernel 8.1
All was fine without errors it flashed
When i go for reboot it reboots but it gets stuck in boot-animation i waited for more than half hour nothing happens juz boot animation
I cheched offlie charging was also working
it would be helpful if some helps me here

did u mod the kernel for miui rom...??

I tried to mod the stock kernel but no luck i cant find proper things to mod kernel

Have you used MIUI patchROM or you ported ROM from any MUI device?
As it is showing boot animation mostly Kernel modification might not be required, After making MIUI ROM from port ROM it is not expected that it will boot, you need to take logcat and modify smali same as porting a ROM, then only it will boot.
Check if it shows logcat in bootloop if it does not then I will provide you modified kernel for detecting (getting logcat) in bootloop.

New z2 plus over heating and not charging

So I got my z2 plus just recently . Unlocked and flashed citrus caf on it the day it arrived as I couldn't bear zui . Everything was going fine . I flashed dm kernel with new camera blobs . Put it in charging and came back after a while to find that phone hasn't charged a bit it keeps saying power connected / disconnected and was hot like hell (67° according to kernel auditor ) . Tried charging with phone off still wouldn't work only keeps vibrating and gets hot . Any ideas what happened here? Is it kernel problem ? I use only stock charger haven't used any other

Defective piece maybe
Try charging governor to powersave to avoid heating and try?

Clean flash citrusCAF again without kernel.
