[KK]Miui 7 for LG G2[Stock based][All variants]

This is another port based on 20d hk version,please fallow my step to flash.
Require:4.4 bootloader baseband and gapps.
Support devices:F/S/L320 D80X L01F LS/VS980.
Creads; @Cloudyfa @miui porting team
How to flash：
1.reback to stock 4.4 through tot or kdz.
2.root and flash the bumped twrp recovery.
3.wipe.
4.flash the miui rom.
First boot into the miui,you have to do:
open the stocksetting,set your led lights,double tap to wake,and mtp mode.

5.8.21 and later versions are miui 7.Your based must be 4.4 and you have to flash it through bumped recovery，or you will get bootloop.
I set default dpi to 460,LG Camera is not fullscreen.If you don't like it,you can change back to 480 in stocksettings.

4.2 or 4.4.4.4 is better.

So this should boot on a KK bootloader? So the rom is bumped?

How did you get the MIUI UI to work on stock base? I would love seeing something like this done with the latest Flyme from Meizu.

Hey, first of all, thanks for sharing such an useful info. Now i have a doubt regarding it,maybe a stupid one! Well is it possible to clear dalvik cache from MI recovery or is it necessary to have CM or TWRP? And can u specify the imprvmnt in ram management if possible ?

Mi recovery Does not have option to clear dalvik. Also you can flash only mi signed roms i.e, not custom roms. For that you will be needing twrp or cwm.

The flashing guide link you have given in first post is using fastboot mode, yet in your note you talked about recovery mode. I'm confused now.
I'm on MIUI 7 Global Stable now, and I want to flash MIUI 7 Global Developer over it. Can I flash directly from TWRP? Or I need to flash fastboot rom from pc?

amazing that xiaomi is providing support to "old" (budget) devices and keeping them up-to-date. unfortunately i've been having random reboots happening on my redmi 1s. i'm on 7.0.5.0 stable, and every now and then (it happens once a day, once a week, etc. it's very random) i wake the phone up without network, date time settings get lost, etc... and I have no idea what is causing the reboots nor how to solve them...
One last minor hiccup with miui7 is the lack of proper localization for where I live (I'm from Portugal, and have to setup my device as brazilian, and some stuff gets messed up), nothing that keeps me from using the phone at least

Push twrp using adb. Link of bricked xiaomi is provided which contains custom recovery and instructions to push it. It's better to have a custom recovery with a developer rom. Trust me. Use twrp to install custom rom

Nope, before giving MIUI another chance I was using CyanogenMod 12 or 13. yes, I did wipe system/data/cache/etc !
I don't know if it's some app triggering the error.. but I've noticed that with TWRP installed instead of the stock recovery, instead of a "soft reboot" (just losing date/time settings and network(asking for SIM card pin)) I get a shutdown ... Is there any command I can use to extract some logs or whatever to find info on what is causing this ??

Twrp recovery with Stable build? Flash mi recovery using the link of this post stated as unbrick your xiaomi. It has recovery and instruction to do so. Then flash using it the stable build.
TWRP shouldnt been there actually. Something in the data partition or some files might be corrupted because of it.

I don't think so. Odexed roms fasten up the boot process and save space. I wonder why you need it deodexed. If you want to deodex some application then use lucky patcher.

What build you are using? I am not facing such issues on miui 7 global beta 5.12.10

Lenovo tab 3 7 (tb3-730x) custom roms + custom recoveries

By flashing a custom rom, your warranty is void 0ooh wait its void the moment you unlock bootloader.
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!!! to avoid bricked devices. ask where need be!.
Not the best tab (i mean performance wise is almost pathetic), but hey!! i mean i searched for custom roms but couldnt find-the stock lagged with install of just two to three apps. Didnt like the look too. I have managed to port 2 roms for our beloved TAB.

FLASH TWRP by 0xAF (fastboot flash recovery ******)
***make a full backup of stock before flash
clear data/system etc before flash
then FLASH AWAY.. clear cache after. (reboot; DONE...)
As ABRHAM BEBH says; there is no ported ROM without BUGS; suprisingly i only detected a few bugs (major)

3=NO SOUND

These ROMS have been ported from 6753 chipset..if that will come in handy to fix camera
i was hoping i could make this thread after i have fixed all bugs, but nahh!! i think i have tried enough and i will need help to fix remaining BUGS

Good news ey.. probably one with no bugs will be coming about soon.

Thanks dmilz for the time develop these ROMs. But the lineageOS zip cannot be flashed, it said "ERROR: 7" (can't install this package on top of incompatible data...). Do I need to do a system wipe before flashing?

I already do a full wipe before flashing and it seems ok with error "E: unknown command []]".
Once booted it keep booting into the custom recovery.

Issue noted.. download the modded boot image in op (just added) .flash it after room install.. then reboot to system..

miui with custom kernel

Hi,
I have search around but do not find what should be done with twrp in order to keep miui for ota with normal install.
I want to flash a kernel on miui.
Shall i keep read only ?
Shall i disable dm-verity ?
I already went once after flashing magisk to screen please enter Android password. Reboot solve the issue by the way.

Ok so i finally just flashed no name kernel without anything else and all ok.

Reflash the stock rom.After that if you want to flash any custom kernels then try blackbox kernel(latest one).It supports MiUi roms

Noname has a miui version shared in telegram owner group

It is TESTING, so try to flash and figure it out it should be 99% functional but can have bug

If you test please report back also with logcats, this is a project

I test 3 times can not flash.
after flash vendor image then flash rom.zip
TWRP always said error mount system-root (some thing like that.).
