Hey Guys,
I lost my old XDA Account and had to make a new one.
Regardless, I am pretty familiar with the know-hows of flashing and what not.
Question,
My One-M8 is SOff and Unlocked.
I am on Sense currently.
If I were to flash a GPe Rom like SkyDragon, am I able to go back to Sense again as easy as flashing a sense Rom or will I expierence issues.
Thanks Alot!

I can't say for certain that these will work with the stock ROM, but they are your best bet.
UnityV4
Virtuous Sense a7
Have you conisidered try a custom ROM? if you want to keep it as stock as possible I recommended Virtuous Sense 2.0
Try unity v4 kernel, its for all sense based runs. Let's you OC up to 1.7 ghz. Link is in my signature.

Thanks a lot ill try them both...
I don't actually want to try a custom ROM right now, as i really like the stock one as it is. I may well try that one though when im bored of it! Is that sense 2.1 or just 2.0?

It is sense 2.1, it is based off the official 2.3.3 DZ update, think of it as what you have all ready but with optimizations.
Oh and welcome to the DZ forums.

That is correct, download rom manager, flash CWM, boot in to CWM and flash .zip
Easy, but if you need anymore help, hop over to the Virtuous Rom IRC and I will be happy to talk you through it

There is a way but I'm very well versed in how to do it. If you read the DZ/G2 wiki it links you to a guide on to root 2.3.3.
if you need further help head to the 'G2ROOT IRC channel
I updated to the 2.3.3 OTA too, and I followed this guide here :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178912
Worked perfectly well

i don't care about sense at all. i'm just used to flashing a zip in twrp not all this firmware updating and stuff......
Looks like I'm just going to wait on a ROM
I'd try skydragon, or wait for the upcoming CM12 being released later this month. I can't use wi-fi on skydragon, so i'll just use CM11 until CM12 comes out. It's going to rock.

Here's the damn thing! I don't know which device you came from but if you want a Android L rom, there's a few here. GPE and CM12. If you want GPE, you may need the lastest firmware to enjoy the best of it! Whereas CM12 is stil buggy. Whichever, its your call...
Don't be rude to others when they simply answer you in kindness. If you're so great, next time bloody hell look through the forum before posting in Q&A -.-

CyanogenMod 12 is the first that comes to my mind, but it's not stable. I don't have any other ideas right now. If you had S-OFF you could convert it to a Google Play Edition device.

S-on has nothing to do with a custom rom....please read and read until you are acquainted with the terms and needs of a custom rom.
and there is no best rom out there. There is a best rom for you but only you can decide which is the best for yourself. We all seek different setups and preferences in a rom.
Happy hunting

If the question is put as 'which is easier to install', then what would the answer? CM?

all of them is easier if you can read the instructions
All roms are pretty much installed the same way.
Make a full wipe (so you don't mingle up 2 different roms)
Install the rom zip
Reboot
ViperOneM8. But I might be biased.
But it does allow for the most customization from any Sense based ROM. Check it out.
Be careful with the volume if you install CM. Don't use it at max, protect your speakers.

Hi,
I am on the stock, developer edition, Lollipop rom. I was wondering if there was any way to install the Lollipop dialer on my device aside from flashing a new rom. Thanks!

The above post by ckpv5 worked for me. Just flash the zip in recovery and you should be good to go.
Looks great but i dont want to completely replace sense dialer i just want to be able to install the Google dialer apk but it just doesn't seem to work it did on kitkat but lollipop is a wall of frustration that is taking some getting used to
works great on sense 7 I do have a question though does it have the setting where if its an unknown number it will take it off of google?

Hello our developer's first I wants to thank you very much for your hard work .. And I wants to ask if its possible to port GPE ROM for our lg g3 d855 or oxygen OS ROM and thank you very much .. Respect for all of you
No answers?
Not possible. There is no GPE G3. If you want stock there are debloated stock roms that are basically the same as a GPE.
