Dn3 5v2 I have one question, why the level of battery power is dropping so fast when I don't do anything with the phone in one hour your battery falls by 1% but if I play a game or anything else and it is very quick to use the batteries in one hour, say 50% or is there any option to keep the battery a long time I tried also calibration battery but nothing beter eny idea?!?!?

I hv flash a .sense Rom on my WFS and i used battery calibration, everything seem to work fine, but i notice the battery percentage indicator is incorrect.
Case 1:
I charge the device till full and run battery calibration, after few hours without using the device, the battery shown is still 100%. after that i run some apps n games, the battery immediately shown 96%, after few minutes the battery drop to 88%.
Case 2:
Battery shows diff reading after a reboot, let say I now have 50%, after 1st reboot it show 45%, I feel that is getting weird, then I reboot again, the battery show 48%..
Anyone know what is going on n any solution for that?
Thanks..
You have a miscalibrated battery...Try wiping battery stats via CWM...if it doesn't work try removing the battery for 2-5 minutes...with 4 minutes for me being the sweet spot...the latter solution works for me...try and test...
Battery stats doesn't actually do anything people.

Yeh all I've read about battery calibration in the past few months since I got my WFS unlocked and started playing around is that Battery Calibration is a pointless task that does nothing.
Anyone else find it amusing that some ROMs still include it as part of the initial setup?
Hello,
for a past few weeks I have a battery problem At first my phone was shutting down at 30-35%, today at 50% :O :O
I know everything about battery calibration, I did it at changing the ROM and did it last week when my phone was fully charged, in recovery. Battery monitor widget says that capacity is 790mAh after two cycles of charging.
I also create new battery in Battery monitor widget and it says that capacity is 1480mAh :/
You can see that now my battery is at 14% with 4123mV, that is not normal
Can it be that my battery is dead?
Does somebody has other method how to calibrate my battery?
Thank you very much

I can see that you use Sense rom so jump at Droidzone site and download some of the kernels with full battery calibration (I think it's #22 and up), flash it and that would solve the problem.
Sent from my HTC Desire using flashes and thunders
Or flash an AOSP rom and go to the nexus one development thread to find the battery calibration thread and follow those instructions.
Hi mates. My beloved gio is doing something wrong with battery.. In one moment it started to drain battery so fast. I am charging battery for 6hours, disconnected and if i was doing something on phone, battery discharges in 5mins. If i do nothing with it it loses 1% per 2hours. I tried another charger but its the same. When gio turns off and i connect it to charger it writes charged in few secs. Ive tried reinstalling rom, recalibrate battery but nothing works. So is my battery dead or have i some issue?
I have my gio for about 1 year now and I started to have the same problem, first when i went on youtube it drained the battery in like 5 mionutes, I was still able to listen to music and use whatsapp, which didnt drain the battery very rapidly, but after a few days even listening to music drained the battery in like 15 minutes.
So for all I can say its a battery problem, most lithium batteries have a life time of about 300-400 charges, after that, battery becomes instable.
EDIT: Also, it wasn't a rom problem, i was running CM7 and switched to CM9 but this also gave battery problems.
Hi,
My One V is been having a lot of troubles lately, the battery discharges really fast, it's dead after half a day. The battery percentage is wrong most of the time, when i restart my phone, my battery percentage can be 50 percent less than it was before. Also when the battery is half way drained (i guess) it randomly shuts down, like when I answer a call or I open facebook or things like that, it just shuts down. My One V is rooted, I tried a lot of different custom roms like cm9, cm10, pacman, aokp... Also i tried to wipe my battery stats, but it didn't improve the battery life at all. What can I do to solve this problem?

Htc service center will only solve cause it's not a rom or kernel related problem

try using apps which control your CPU and reduce the speed (MHz) . If that doesnt work try getting a new battery .
I wiped my battery stats another time, this time with the battery calibration app and I must say that the percentage is better now, but still, when my one v reaches a battery percentage of 20-30 percent, it just shuts down, and when it reboots it's still at 20 percent so the battery isn't dead. I already underclocked my processor to 768mhz, but it still shuts down.. Does anyone have a solution for my problem? I'm running cm10 with hellboy kernel at the moment.

Re-lock phone and claim warranty - possibly something wrong with battery...
Hello,I have a problem with my HOX, the battery percent is not updating correctly, for example I let the screen on for like 30 minutes and I have NO BATTERY DRAIN, then it suddenly decreases by lets say 10%. This happens all the time on different kernels and roms and I have no idea why. Is my battery damaged? Is there any way to fix this? I calibrated the battery a few with no apparent result. Any oppinons or advices are greatly appreciated.

Ye you have to put in a new battery. I got recently a new smartphone with a 2600mAh battery and its so awesome ! It drains like 1% in 8hours every night and screen on time of 7-8 hours.
My old HOX battery was crap compared to this, I could literally watch it drain when using mobile network (1% every 3mins on mobile internet) even when it was completely new.
HOX drained on airplane mode up to 10% every night lol.
