[Q] How to flash baseband? (F180L converted to E975 KK stock)

I recently flashed my LG F180L to KK E975 and I rooted it successfully. Now, the only issue I have is how to flash baseband for KK. My LGOG does not have any signal up till now. I tried the same baseband flashing method like what I did last time on Jellybean but it doesn't seem to work on KK. Any suggestions?

Confused about ZV8, ZVA, ZVC, ZVD

I see mention of ZV8, ZVA, ZVC, and ZVD. It has me all a little confused. Are these the modems? Or the basebands?
How can I find out which version I have? When I go to software information on my phone (running CloudyPro II 2.3), it lists a baseband of M8974A-AAAAANAZM-2.0.20046.
I'm basically trying to understand what the ZV8, ZVA, ZVC, and ZVD refer to exactly and how to tell which one I have. Also, is there any reason to have one over the other?
Thanks!
they are software versions. Each sofware version has its own baseband (referenced by the sofware version). zv7 was the first, then ZV8 (neither of these had tri-band enabled), then ZVA -TRI-BAND, then ZVC - (KIT KAT UPGRADE), AND NOW LATEST IS ZVD (KIT KAT PLUS KNOCK CODE)
The modems are not interchangeable as if you try to have kitkat but flash the zv8 modem, you will brick. Each software version you flash must match the modem (flashed in SAME recovery session, or your sol )
currently it looks like you have the ZVD baseband or ZVC
Thank you for the reply!
Am I at risk of a permanent brick if I flash the wrong combination? Or would it just be something like a boot loop, forcing me to reboot into recovery and restore a backup?
The reason I ask about all this is I've had problems flashing other ROMs. Coming from CloudyPro II 2.3, if I flash CM11 or Affliction (or some other ROMs), I seem to get boot loops, and I just have to restore a backup.
So basically, I'm just trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong or what the best practice is to jump around to different ROMs with different basebands.
Thanks again!
I had a question.... You were able to find a cloudy Rom that works on Sprint?

d855 in israel - new update found - v20f - safe to update? (lose root?)

hey all,
My LG G3 D855 just got a new update found... V20F. I have 100% stock KitKat right now, V10o build, and its ROOTED.
If I do the software update automatically, will I lose root? Do I have to do anything like this whole bump thing etc? I just want Rooted V20F (Lollipop) and eventually I may put a rom on it... Am I ok? Or should I do something first?
thanks
If you want rooted Lollipop then dont do the update.
Flash TWRP and flash some prerooted Lollipop rom. That is the only way to have rooted Lollipop.

kitkat modem

Hey, I have few questions and a request.
first of all is it possible to flash modem after flashing the rom(I currently have a working kitkat 4.4.2 TWN v10b- stock rom) but I don't have signal - that's because I have messed up things before that and installed a rom for hongkong d858 phone , now hardly I could flash back to my stock rom but i still have no signal .. so that's modem related i suppose .
If anyone could give me a link to where i can download kitkat modem for my phone and how do I flash it .. please
*** it is preferred if i can flash it without root ***
well i flashed the modem using twrp zip flash but still no signal any ideas?
